This is the best resort I have ever been to in Malapascua Island. It's situated at the far end of bounty beach with less to zero people passing by. I wanted to have a private, romantic getaway with my partner and they did not disappoint! It is extremely quiet with plenty of plants that gives a refreshing vibe. The staff have provided the best customer service by far; special shoutout to the night duty security personnel who went over and beyond his duties by providing us what we needed during the night when staff is not available. We felt safe and at home in this little heaven on earth. Thank youuuuu for the wonderful stay. I will definitely be back. 🖤

This is the best place to stay in Malapascua. The roomsand the villas are exceptional. Secured and well cleaned. The location is perfect for relaxation, if you are looking for a peacfull place with a view so amazing, Aabana Beach Resort is the place to be. The staff are very hospitable and happy, they always greet you with a geunine smile everytime they see you. Their breakfast is great as well and one thing that highlights our trip is that they are a PET FRIENDLY RESORT. Will definitely go back to this resort once we get back to Malapascua. Worth every penny,. Thank you for accomodating us. Will be back for sure!

My wife and I had plans to stay at AABANA, but due to travel restrictions had to cancel our trip. Mike offered a full refund of our stay, even though we were past the cancellation period. I greatly appreciate their flexibility and communication during this stressful time, and look forward to visiting in the future!

We started our 3-weeks vacation in the Philippines here and we loved it! Mike is super amazing host, the area is beautiful and rooms with the ACs are perfect. We stayed here even longer than expected because we then decided to do a diving course. The good thing of the resort is that the surrounding is calm so you getter proper sleep and you are still super close to the restaurant and the ‚nightlife‘ of Malapascua

I had such a lovely 1 week stay in Aabana. Despite being spotlessly clean, the resort was well run and maintained by a team of efficient staffs despite when the owners were not physically around. If I’m back Malapascua, will certainly stay here again!

The place is stunning and directly by the beach. We had a wonderful time with the family. Service was execptional and very fast to respond to our needs. The island is a wonderful place for diving and water activities. I would always go back and fully reccommend this resort.

No fridge , air con unit was so loud it probably kept most residents up . You had a double bed with a net over you . I’d say this would suit anyone who don’t mind ruffing it a bit . If you like to feel your on holiday this is not the place for you . Breakfast was cold , the staff have a child mind set , clueless . But they are lovely and polite people so this is lack off training from the owners . Pictures advertised are old as it was really run down and dirty . There is no water sports or dive center ( this was why I went there ) to find I been misled was annoying. But there are plenty but carrying your equipment in the heat was not nice . So if your looking for a dive resort/ water sport this resort is not for you .

This person was not our guest ! We only had at that time Guest named JUSTIN HUNT and his partner woman. Anyway lets go to the fact. That Guest Justin Hunt was NOT OUR GUEST, he was guest from DiveShop AP-DREAM who happen to have some rooms in our place. As the owner from AP-DREAM told me they had some problem with that guest about diving, guest was late for the motorbike to pick him up for diving and the motor could not wait cause has to get other diver also, so he want away after 10 minutes waiting for AP-DREAM guest. Seems to be Guest HUNT was very angry about that, but its his own fault if you are not in time at the right place. That guest booked a SPECIAL package the cheapest room and including several dives. he dont wanted a more luxuiries room. But his room has Aircon and Hot Shower . Only the more expensive rooms has a fridge and guest knows that .So wondering why they complain. and about cold breakfast, if you order breakfast for a special time, and it is served just in time and guest arrive 1/2 hour later, no wonder breakfast is getting cold! . No watersports?? how comes they went diving, we also have ocean kayaks, Jetski, Shuttlecraft, Glassbottom boat! They just have to order so we can prepare. this guest was shouting to owner of AP-DREAM about that he missed to motorbike, thats what we heard what happend, and due to that he is making misleadings statements that the resort is dirty??? As everybodY can see on other resort reviews ,, that is not the case, people love our place, its well maintained and have good free breakfast with lots of availbel breakfast choices.. Anyway, those people have NOT been OUR GUEST .

We stayed at Aabana Resort for three days and two nights. They gave us fresh calamansi juice when we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly. Our room was fantastic, and the bathroom was enormous. We feel so at ease because they have so many plants. You have the impression that you are one with nature. Unforgettable vacation, and we will definitely return and try diving soon. To the resort's owner, Sir Mike, thank you so much for your prompt response when we inquired. Thank you for making our stay worthwhile!

Second time in Malapascua and second time we stayed here. It’s a great place, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home.
Our cottage was huge with an upstairs. Ladder is fairly steep but no worries.
We really enjoy this little gem and will definitely stay again here next time we come back. Huge thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and special. 🫶

Hi, Just book a flight to CEBU/Philippines (Airport Cebu/Mactan). There we can pick you up with private Car and transfer to MAYA NEW Port where the boats to Malapascia are departing. Private Car for pickup is php 2700.00 for 2 pax. At Maya New Port we can get you with Private Boat and transfer direct to mour beach at Malapascua. Price is php 1600 for the private boat. If you want to use public transfer please check the below information, but be reminded that the last boat from Maya to Malapascua leaves at 17:30 pm; ---------------------------- But on the other hand if you have lots of time and dont look forward for comfortable but somehow more expensive ride to Malapascua, or if you are an experienced Backpacker who like to run the rough ways, or if you are willing to wait hours for a boat going to Malapascua, there is a cheaper way to reach malapascua: Taxi/cab From Mactan Airport with a taxi to the “Northern Bus Terminal” takes approximately 25minutes, traffic depending. If you would rather take a metered taxi, which are more economical than the private ones waiting at the arrival gate, simply walk up the ramp to the departures area and hail a white street taxi, make sure they put the meter on. Public BUS Transfer On reaching the bus terminal we recommend the bright yellow Ceres Bus Liner, non Aircon, php 185 per person. This company has fairly direct buses that leave for Maya, the jump off point for Malapascua Island, approximately every 30minutes. Ceres Bus TOURS is the Aircon busses, price is php 225 per persons. The Aircon busses are mostly brand new tyoe and more comfortable (only 4 seats in a row) than the “Ceres Liner” Regular CERES Busses: Ceres Busses time table: 1. Last Bus North Bus Terminal CEBU - MAYA: 11: 40 pm (23:40) 2. First Bus North Bus Terminal CEBU - MAYA: 1: 00 am (01:00) 3. Last Bus Pantalan MAYA-CEBU: 5:00 pm (17:00) 4. First Bus Pantalan MAYA-CEBU: 1:00 am (01:00) CERES Aircon Busses(CERES TOURS) CEBU – MAYA via BAGAY : Departure Arrival 5:00 AM 8:30 AM 7:00 AM 10:30 AM 9:00 AM 12:30 AM 11:00 AM 2:30 PM 3:00 PM 6:30 PM 5:00 PM 8:30 PM MAYA via BAGAY – CEBU Departure Arrival 6:00 AM 9:30 AM 7:00 AM 10:30 AM 9:20 AM 12:50 AM 11:00 AM 2:30 AM 1:00 PM 4:30 PM 3:00 PM 6:30 PM all other CERES Busses leave about every 30 minutes. The journey itself takes between 3 – 4 hours . The best time to travel is early in the morning as it tends to be cooler and there is less traffic on the roads. Be sure you always take the bus with the signboard “Maya NEWPORT”. The bus stops once, after about 1hour, outside of the city for a brief toilet and snack break and sometimes a second brief stop at Bogo City the largest town between Cebu and Maya. Public BOAT Transfer Once you arrive at Maya the bus will stop at the NEW PORT, where once again there will be some very friendly ‘porters’ awaiting to assist you with your bags. There is a small ticket booth, where you can buy a ticket for the next Banka (outrigger boat) to Malapascua; the tickets cost Php 100 per person. If it is a low tide the larger Banka’s cannot reach the pier so you will have to ride a “tunda” (small paddle boat) to the larger boat, this costs approximately Php 20 per person/bag. Expect for at least your feet to get wet – possibly more. The boats leave about every 30 minutes although you can sometimes have a long wait while they wait to fill up with passengers. If there are not at least 15 passengers, no boat will go to Malapascua, so you have to order a SPECIAL RIDE for a price of almost 1800 php (night time 2000 php). The first boat is at 8:30AM and the last is at 5:00PM, although the schedule is set till 4:00PM. The boat trip takes around 45 minutes and drops you off at Logon, the barrio proper or ‘town’. To get to "AABANA Beach- and Watersport Resort, Mike & Diose Beachcottage" from here simply turn right and follow the path towards the Main Beach(Bounty Beach). From there you can either walk about 15 minutes straight up the beach or follow the back path that will lead you to “AABANA Beach- and Watersport Resort, Mike & Diose Beachcottage" . ARRIVAL Because Malapascua has no really PORT or HARBOUR, the landing of Passengerboats are always on some beach. The Point of landing depends on the weather situation. Usually Arrival Malapascua is Bario LOGON, but if it is bad weather and strong waves and winds coming from westside, the Arrival will be changed to the South of Malapascua near COCOBANA Resort or even EASTSIDE PASIL village. But best would be if you contact us twice by cellphone (Text message or phone call, better message)when you leave with bus from Cebu (Take always only CERES Liner !), and give us departure time of Bus and BUS NUMBERwhen you arrive in MAYA and take the passengerboat, tell us when (time) you leave Maya and the give us BOATNAME. Ask the crew where does the boat will landing in Malapascua (which is arrival place ) and tell us, so we can fetch you there and get also your luggage. When you arrive in Malapascua then possible some CANVASSER will talk to you and want you to change your accommodation/reservation and bring you to other places than our place, cause they want to earn some COMMISSION from those canvassing Resorts. Dont let them bother you and just tell them to bring you to our place. If you send us already an textmessage what time you are leaving Maya and give us the boat name, then we can fetch you on arrival in Malapascua!!
