I will always recommend this guesthouse to those who are in a budget, asside from it's cheaper guesthouse in the island , maintenance of cleanliness, there's 2 to 5 minutes access to the beach (can find a good spot where to swim or chill - or just walk through to the bounty beach About less 10 mins... Place has a rooftop , best spot to catch sunset , it's also perfect place to those who wanted to feel the local type living in the island, the good vibes of people and want to experience the different kind of feeling being part of the family members,, which Mama Rebecca ( the owner) treat you like her child, will always check you every time she see you,if you're good or how you feelings cuz she care and her family and workers , whenever she sees you , you're bored she'll tell you or suggest what you can do in the island to kill that boredom!! And sometimes she just get all the guest or ask them to do island hopping in discounted cost for her guest and / or invited friend of her guest ( that's how she's considerable as well) just to make everyone satisfy their stay in the Philippines and of course in the island. I love mama Becca,, and will always wanted to see her even I can't stay to her place due it's easily to get fully booked... The best place for me in the island

An underrated gem to stay in on Malapascua - the owner Rebecca basically sorted out all my activities once I arrived, including recommending a fantastic dive school, arranging my Kalanggaman Island boat trip, and even packing a lunch for me for a diving day. The AC in the room is fantastic and a genuine rarity on many hotels on the island. To sum up, this hostel is affordable, with great service and offers the most value for money in Malapascua.

I stayed here twice over a period of a year, I enjoyed it, although I didn’t spend much time in the hostel. The owner, Recca is really nice, laid-back and has a very progressive way of thinking. She helps her communities with initiatives and ideas. What I found a pity, is the use of the roof. It’s an awesome place with a fantastic view of the sky, trees and houses, but somehow people don’t use it (or just I didn’t see them). Whenever I am there, I am either in my room or on the roof. Nice place if you want something a bit off the beach and closer to locals I recommend this place, and indeed, I am returning there in a couple of days for almost an entire week.
