I had dinner at the restaurant here one night. Turned out it was their 31 year anniversary. They had invited the winners of a music competition in Danao City up for the night to perform.
I took a table on the sand. I had the shrimp and mango salad which was tasty but I thought a bit more salad would be reasonable given the price. The mango shakes are delicious.
I returned to my room after I had finished my meal. The music volume was far too loud for my liking.

The great beach resort on Malapascua. We went there for the thresher sharks and we were not disappointed. The dive operation was great . Plenty of sharks. It bit crowded at times. The beach resort was great but busy . Service at the restaurant a bit slow at times.

Because it's a dive haven, Malapascua isn't cheap, especially if you want to stay on Bounty Beach. Accommodation at $20 or under is usually off the beach, which means no views and no sea breeze. We were there in low season, so we convinced the folks at Blue Water to give us a room for 700P/night. It was nothing special, but it was oceanfront, a good size, and the hot water sometimes worked. We enjoyed many hours on our balcony, reading, eating mangos, and chatting with those passing by.

The biggest issue was on our fourth day when the toilet clogged. They had no tools to fix it (not even a decent plunger), so they just had us move over to the next room rather than fix the problem. Doesn't say much for the maintenance of the place.

We only ate the fantastic pizzas made with all the love by the Welsh owner. The pizzas were a m a z i n g !! Even better than the ones in our home country Sweden. If you come to Malapascua, take the sandy beach to this place and order pizzas and the fresh fruit juices, we tried mango and pineapple. Because you are worth it! ;-)

We made a reservation, arrived, and after inspecting the facility, canceled the reservation and paid the penalty of 3,400 overnight fees.

The complex looks like a construction site, rooms are small and dingy, the pool is green without any maintenance (???health risk???) in general everything seems careless and neglected.

Been here with friends just recently; actually we just got home now from this amazing epic adventure at Malapascua (super epic especially on our last night, too long to explain) All I can say is staying in this resort doesn’t feel like really staying in a resort because it feels just like We have visited a family that we haven’t seen in a long time who provided us some warm nice bed and took good care of us for the whole stay. The place is currently been personally run by the Family members from the dad to the kids and to mum. Sir Nigel was super accommodating we already felt at home on our first day very easy to speak with and always at your service, Her wife is the Chef and really cooks well, and please do not miss to try her Fish sticks (Super lami) the guys were amazing too James was very accommodating easy to speak with and his Kuya too they are all over from being the server, bartender and cashier, amazing guys! and oh!! Please do not miss their pizza starting at 7PM,
The best!!! and of course their cutie little daughter who does not always miss her task cleaning up the Billiard table. Kudos to the team!!! and from a seasoned hotelier perspective for me this is one of the best place stay in Malapascua🤟🏼🌅

Bluewater's wood-oven pizza is really incredible. From the freshly tossed dough, fresh mozz and incredible mix of fresh seafood on the fruti di mare, it's worth writing home about. We ate at every open restaurant on the island, and found ourselves returning to Nigel and Janet's place again and again. Sweat and sour chicken, spare ribs, and the seafood. Will return to Malapascau one day, just for the food here.

I was on the island a week and ate here 4 times.
I have no idea about the resort or the diving, only the restaurant
Very good food, excellent service and the wood fired pizza oven was the best pizza on the island. (I ate here 4 times and had the pizza 3 times!)
Nigel and Janet have been running the place for years and are very friendly and accommodating.
Would recommend eating here on your trip to the island

Had a great time here, the staff have the biggest smiles on the whole island. They all made us feel very welcomed and couldn’t help us enough. Great dives, EJ has clearly dived a lot on the island and knew exactly where to find everything we wanted to see. It was nice to also use what looked like a brand new bcd. Food was great, fantastic pizza and cold beer.
Great sunrises right outside my front door and you catch the sunset just round the corner.
Over all great week and would happily return.
Thankyou!

Blue Water is just an excellent place to stay. Great beach front location. Beachfront bar and restaurant with awesome food, particularly the seafood BBQ and wood fired pizza, clean rooms and super friendly and helpful staff. I had the good fortune to strike up a conversation with Nigel who helps run the place. Nigel was so kind and engaging. He is very knowledgeable about the island and the diving in the area. Nigel even arranged it so that while my wife and daughter were on Kalanggaman Island my son and I got dropped in the water so we could do a dive and then the boat swung back around and picked us up. Just small things like that which made the overall stay an incredible experience. I would definitely visit again.
