The exterior of the building along with photos used in advertising are five star. However apartment 6J is filthy along with old worn out furniture. We had no choice but to spend two nights of our four night booking in the apartment. We checked out and did receive $210 per night refund of $240 per night that we had paid. (For the remaining two nights) Lady on reception was polite but certainly not concerned.

Avoid apartment 2D. The resort, in general, appears to be quite well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in had damaged fly screen, a spongy switch in the main bathroom which may or may not be an electrical hazard, poorly repaired dining chairs and a hole cut in the second bedroom wardrobe to access the blower for the spa bath. I don't know how dangerous this would be for small children who might play 'hidey' in there. The general upkeep was also lacking with lots of paint scratches and marks on the walls. There was also mould and/or dirt in the ensuite. We went out and bought a frying pan because we wouldn't use the one supplied and we didn't use the cutting board either - it still had food scraps on it, presumably from the previous occupants. I believe the apartments are all individually owned so I can't comment on the condition of the others. The views across the Broadwater are nice especially with some of the sunrises we saw.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the resort and were relieved the bad reviews were not applicable to our visit. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room had a glorious view and was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was only an air conditioner in the lounge area so the bedrooms are very hot, even with the ceiling fans working. This should be considered depending on the time of year you visit - we were there during a hot and humid week. The kitchen was fully equipped - two beautiful bathrooms, a large lounge, dining area and balcony to enjoy. There are two pools which we really enjoyed. The roof top pool has fantastic views and a BBQ area to utilise. The ground floor pool also has two saunas - one for ladies and another for men. There are also two games rooms - one for over 18 years which had a great billiard table and the other for the kids with table tennis and some game machines. There is a small cafe' downstairs we didn't have the opportunity to try, and a lovely indoor garden. Across the road you are on the beach area and a walking path is available. There are nice restaurants only minutes away and overall we loved our stay here and would recommend it.

Where do I start! Cleanliness-none, cleaners should be sacked. They clearly did a quick vacuum and changed the linen. I had to wipe down all surfaces in the kitchen, absolutely filthy, oven unusable, so filthy. The utensils in the cupboard under the sink should be thrown in the garbage, so old and grotty. Mould on all curtains, door locks broken on all balcony doors/fire safety risk. The list goes on. Booked for 3 nights and got a refund back for the 3rd night and moved out (not a full refund either I might add).. This apartment was 1D, spoke to other people in the lift and they weren’t happy either. We left a 2 page list of things that needed doing, probably won’t be handed onto the owner of this apartment. Worst accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Pros Location - water view- close to shops and playgrounds Washer / dryer in apartment Secure building Rooftop pool a great fun addition Clean and tidy Friendly lady at reception Late check in process was simple enough Car spot underground - on way out make sure you look for the yellow wall for FOB key swipe - this got us and a lot of first night guests - not an issue you just have to reverse. Good starter amount of shower and toilet paper needs - kitchen equipped enough for basic meals, was very small but good enough Gym and games room looked nice but didn’t use on our stay Very conscious of having respect for guests - no party’s and low volume while walking around walkways Cafe on site Cons Couldn’t find cleaning products or vacuum cleaner which was needed for a weeks stay, they may have one but we didn’t ask either, that could be on us Dining table was a bit loose but nothing major. Lift only goes to level 6 then you have to walk one flight to get to rooftop pool. No air con in bedrooms but did have ceiling fans. Second bedroom had light outside window in walkway that was the worst part for me as I need dark to sleep so bring eye mask if you’re the same, it’s nice to have some light for the kids but this was like daytime does go off late at night If your staying with younger kids ask for a lower level - the balcony is lovely and secure enough but still felt a bit uncomfortable Beds were hard as a rock - some of our group loved it and some had sore backs, so really personal preference Showers were a bit awkward with the temperature and the main shower was over spa bath - which was great, but just be careful with kids as it’s quite a high step to get into Wifi would only work in the lounge room In summary - I believe we got great value for money for what we paid, $1300 for 6 nights at start of December for 4 paying guests (one child not charged), and the accommodation more than matched the price. We stayed in apartment 3D and it was perfectly acceptable for what we needed.

staff were great! the rooms are so clean and updated, we had a hiccup and had to change rooms midway through the stay but even that was not an issue :) we would stay in any room and for that end of the gold coast this is our choice to stay at!

Great location. Well appointed apartment with everything we needed for our family stay. Location is fabulous. Close to everything and opposite the water. Our apartment was close to the lift, entry to the rooftop pool. Will definitely be staying again - can’t wait to go back.

If you want a cheap room, you get what you pay for. Looks nice from the outside but run down and tired inside. Nothing like the pictures which were obviously taken from the front apartments. 5C had a broken front door that had a weird whistling noise. The furniture was old, stained (with what might have been sunscreen but could have been anything) and not cleaned well at all. We put the cushions in the second bedroom as they were matted and old. The decoration on the coffee table had black hairs in it. Other “decorations “ were all black, depressing for a seaside place. The balcony had old rusted furniture and for some reason the chairs were tied together. No real view except of the apartments next door -water glimpses only, despite being advertised as water view. Couldn’t sit on the balcony anyway, the wind tunnel between the two buildings prevented that. The aircon made a clicking noise even though it was off. Had to keep all the curtains shut for any privacy as the apartments next door looked directly into ours. It was so awful, like other reviewers, we left early and stayed elsewhere.
