We choose this hostel because of the good review, so we stayed here for two days. However if you are the kind of person that cleanliness is important this place is not for you. Sure this is a budget hostel-backpackers place but hey THE management still needs to CLEAN. I rather not to take a shower really its dirty... this...

It was a long journey from Buscalan (Apo Whang Od) to La Union and we arrived at the Hostel at 1AM. We were thinking that they're already closed but they are too quick to offer the common area to stay overnight while we wait for our check in time which is the next day at 1PM. We started backpacking the...

A friend of mine recommended that we stay in this hostel because it had good reviews and is very affordable. I personally thought that the "You get what you paid for" rule applies here; surprisingly enough I got waaaay more than I was expecting. This Instagram-worthy place had a very cool, accommodating and laid back vibe with a "not so...

When I learned that we were staying a hostel, I didn't expect much. But this place surely surpassed my expectations. The beds were okay and adequately clean. There's a privacy curtain and a mosquito net on each bed. The place is well ventilated although I think it would be hot to stay in the dorms during the day. They have...

Didn't have any trouble reserving the beds, the website was very easy to navigate. FD called us a day prior to confirm we are coming, advised us to make sure to arrive early at the terminal as the lines sometimes can be so bad. Upon arrival she welcomed us so warmly (she isn't there anymore though). Come night time, FD...

Cool artsy place but not so cool in terms of cleanliness. Cobwebs are everywhere; you'll regret it if you're placed in the top most bunk bed. You'll be the one to set up your own bunk bed and the staff won't even bother checking if your mattresses are still okay. The pillows are a little bit hard and the pillow...

The idea is nice: an artsy, sociable hostel for budget travellers. Pros: it's affordable, the beds are fine, the common area is a handy way to meet people (if you're travelling solo), it's in a good location off the main road, and they provide free water Cons: The staff are pretty disinterested and unhelpful, the "breakfast" consists of a piece...

The circle is a nice idea. It looks pretty and artsy on pictures. But in reality it is a place without a soul. The staff does not care about the visitors at all. Mattresses are dirt cheap and dirty. For breakfast you can fish a dry piece of bread out of a container and spread it with some peanut butter....
