Highly recommended for first time LU goers!

Great value for money given the room quality and location. Online reservation was a breeze - full payment to confirm booking. Accommodated early check in for a minimal fee. They even let us borrow umbrellas when it started to pour.

We got Room 102 which was in a separate bldg from the dorm type rooms. Spacious for 2pax and had a lil veranda to dry clothes. Mattress and linen were comfy. Bathroom was clean!!

Free breakfast at the rooftop with a stunning view of both beach and mountains! Simple spread of bread, egg, bananas, coffee. We always fill up our water bottles before leaving.

5 minute walk from the beach. Nearby 711 and popular restos like Tagpuan and Monkey Burger (?). Also beside the trike terminal.

Had an awesome time at Vessel for our two-night stay.

Room was spacious and really inviting to get some good rest in. Comes with cups and a water bottle for the dispenser outside so we were pretty hydrated the whole time! Place was also far enough to shield us from the party music (though it did die down around past 11PM).

Interiors were super cool too! Even had a framed retro ad in the bathroom that made a good conversation piece.

Highly recommended and would definitely be back!

Stayed for nine days in November 2019. Unique hostel - partly made out of old ship containers. One of the most well-designed, stylish hostels I've ever stayed in. Incredible attention to detail from the owners (both architects/designers by trade). Simple, decent breakfast provided on the roof terrace. Well located - two minute walk from main beach, 30 seconds walk from closest bus stop and 7-11 store. Tip: for surfers, speak to Buji (the owner) asap after arriving - he can give you top advice on surf spots/surf guides etc. Also, try to hit up Carille/Jesus Point surf spot (if working): incredibly long, fun right-hander.

The first we went here was last October 2017 and we were given a 4-bed room on the 3rd floor with 2 sets of bunk beds facing each other and made the room too small. The bathrooms and shower area are outside the room and is shared by the other rooms in that floor. This time, we were in a 4-bed room on the 2nd floor. The bathroom is inside the room and the bunk beds are not facing each other and it made the room very spacious. I prefer the room on the 2nd floor than the one we had on the 3rd floor.

As described, you get sockets in your bed area and personal light. Bathrooms are clean.

The breakfast was basic but good. Coffee, pandesal (butter, orangr marmalade, and peanut butter spread), hard boiled egg, and banana.

It’s not beach front but it’s close to most restaurants/eatery (and 7/11) and Partas bus can drop you on the road beside it.

9/10 will come back again if I convince myself that 1200 Php is reasonable (when they increase the rate on October).

Overall, very satisfied that’s why we came back :)

The hotel has a very modern aesthetic in terms of architecture and interior design. The room was neat, cosy, with the nicely furnished wooden interiors. The hostel is only a street away form where restaurants and other hostels are located. Behind the street of restaurants and hostels you will find the beach. Quite convenient when walking back and forth to the beach. Overall a great experience and would recommend to my friends!

Very accommodating. The hostel is superb, only a walk away from restaurants and the beach. Roof top deck is ok, not to mention their common kitchen that's cute and the free brekky that's healthy. Malinis din ang common bathroom and cr. Sobrang laming lang ng acu. Have shared a room but it's ok for a budget. Good job!

I have stayed in a couple of places in LU and almost all the hostels. No doubt this is the best. Stayed in this place for 5 days, i had a really awesome experience.

The location is great. A short walk to the restaurants, highway and beach. Staff was impressive. They were very accommodating and friendly. Their service was really good! I never for once in the whole week see them frown or not smile. All my concerns were always met and they were always happy to help guests with their concerns. I also would like to mention the owners of the hostel, Buji and Nikki. In my experience they are the nicest and best hosts in a hostel. They are very humble and wonderful hosts.

You will never really feel crowded in this hostel since there are 22 beds overall. I like hostels like this since usually service is better at this number. The rooms are really nice. Its not a basic room. Its simple yet well designed rooms. Sometimes i really feel like i just want to hang out in the room because it's very cozy inside. There are a lot of space for people in the room to put their things. Rooms are all equipped with A/C, perfect for the Philippines as it could be very warm sometimes. Towels and blankets that were provided smelled really good and were clean. All the common areas, toilets, and showers were ALWAYS clean. Also all the tissues, and Body wash were always filled. The hostel also provide an outdoor shower for people coming from the beach or from people coming from surfing. Also a surf rack if guests do bring their boards.

Lastly would like to mention the Roof deck. I love hanging out in that place. It's very chill to hang out there. Great place to meet other guests in the hostel! Oh and there is a Kitchen and Fridge in the roof deck for guests who would want to cook their own food or put some stuff on the fridge. It is also a great place to study and work. There were a couple of guests that i met who were there working in the roof deck.

Really Good Hostel. The best Hostel in LU and I think in all of the Philippines in my experience. Good Job Guys!

Visited here earlier this year. Rocked up after 1am and they were still able to check us in. The whole place was very clean and our dorm room had the comfiest hostel beds I have ever stayed in! Each bunk had a curtain for privacy, a light, and plugs. OH AND THE MATTRESSES... wowweee. Philippines tends to have some pretty junky mattresses, but these ones were better than home. The beds were also pretty large for singles.

For breakfast you can sit up at the top story and its just great vibes up there!

A hostel that has excellent service. The staff are all friendly and helpful. During my stay, they made sure that I am doing okay. It felt like I am secure and will not worry that anything bad will happen 'coz I am taken good care of.

Each guest will enjoy a comfortable bed that comes with sanitized and clean towels, blanket and pillow. Each room has a private restroom but there is also a common restroom at the 3rd floor. Also, you will enjoy a complimentary breakfast.

They also have a very strong wi-fi connection in every floor and not to mention, each floor is very relaxing. My favorite is the 4th floor 'coz I can have a view of the people surfing or the sunrise or sunset. Also, what I love about Vessel is it is near the tricycle terminal (if you do not feel like walking) or you can walk towards the shore.
