I had an opportunity to study for and receive my open ocean scuba certification with Easy Dive in Punta Bulata - about an hour's drive north of Sipalay. Carl, my instructor was ready and waiting on time each morning. He did an excellent job instructing me. I received my certification in 3 days which was faster than I thought! I would recommend this company for all of your diving needs. The rental equipment was in excellent condition and I brought my own prescription glasses mask. The entire staff was very accommodating, especially for a complete novice.

Went to Sipalay for a short trip to the beach with some friends… found this lovely resort which has some good and new reviews from Tripadvisor. The place is secluded as the previous guest mentioned but is a great place for a bunch of friends short gathering. Cool sandy white beach and friendly staff. Although you need to hike up to your room everyday but is worth it especially when you see their beach and sunsets. The island hopping is a good way to explore the nature around the sea at Sipalay.

Location, location, location! Incredibly secluded and quiet. It’s a dive resort but they cater to every taste. Personalized service, the bungalows, the landscaping were incredible. WARNING! You better be in decent shape. The stair climb up and down is aerobic workout within itself. The place is built on the side of a steep slope. The restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of menu items. Great selection of cocktails. Be forewarned this place fills up quick during non monsoon season. It’s a very popular diving location. Make your reservations early.

So it's quite some years since I logged in to my account so I forgot to take a lot if pictures of the place but it was good the problem though is the stairs its so tiring to walk up and down but overall great customer service and cheerful staffs and very helpful esp "small boy" nickname of one of their staff. He carried all our luggage from the parking lot up to our room. So to sum it all up Pros: Privacy is best (we stayed on their most expensive room) "whale shark“ Great staff Safe parking space Good food Good attitude of the owner himself he gave as a discount because we upgraded our room due to the distance of our first room to their amenities Cons: Not recommended for elderly due to the terrain of the place Limited Tv channels Limited wifi (they have a technical issue at the time of our visit) Have some sharp rocks on the beach area but its natural you can't do anything about it Can't bring outside food …

This is our first travel after the easing of quarantine regulations. You can book your rooms on line or you can call them or send a messge thru messenger. Sipalay City still implements a strict monitoring of visitors and walk-ins are not allowed. Make sure you comply with Sipalay guidelines before travelling. Allow 3 days of advance booking before you go. The place itself is great. Nestled on a hill overlooking a nice swimming beach. The water is very clean and sunsets are gorgeous. Food is reasonable for its price and quality. We learned from staff that before covid lockdowns, 95% of the guests are foreign. So if you are from Negros island and are able to travel, visit this place. Staff are helpful and friendly. As a diving resort, you can get diving lessons here and they offer dives. Tip: Get a massage from Gina, the in house therapist after a long day at the beach.…

Everything about this place is crazy good The hotel is built into a little hill right at the beach - it is built incredibly well the staff is very attentive and nice we started with a refresh dive as my husband and I both didnt dive for a little over a year; they did that incredibly detailed and attentive - made us train to fill our masks with water, recover our breathing mouth piece etc etc - i felt safe and comfortable right away there are 4 dives tops a day you can sign in for - starting 7:30 and finishing with a night dive; all the dives were amazing; they went above and beyond to always show us a great new site we had panoy as a diveguide for all but two dives (fred for the night dive and ruedi for the refresh training) - he was just amazing - calm, attentive; great (and so were the other two guides); thanks a lot panoy!! the restaurant is great too - the food was amazing everything is just a paradise there! thanks a lot to christian and the whole team!!…

It was a relaxing time in Sipalay. Relaxed diving, massage and very good meals!!👍👍 We were always not more than three for diving. The guides were also very friendly and showed us a lot of the underwater fauna. Thanks for the good time!!😉🤗🤗

I was already drafting a bad review in my head because of my email exchanges prior to our booking date. Maybe I'm just being sensitive but I find their responses a bit sarcastic and the simlleys did not make it look friendly at all. But things just made a 180 degrees turn the moment we were welcomed by the most accomodating staff.. The resort itself was paradise! It has the most amazing sunset and the most relaxing ambiance It made sense that our room did not have a TV because we barely stayed in it. We spent two lazy afternoons at the beach swimming, taking pictures, killing time.. I discovered Sipalay by accident six years ago and this year, I fell inlove with it all over again. There's this feeling that makes me wish this hidden paradise remains undiscovered. But I would definitely recommend this resort if you want a relaxing get away. :-).…

Cool and friendly staff, kitchen amazing, great hospitality, Management takes care on anything and fulfilled any wish. Massage at the beach relaxes you completely. Come as guest and leave as friend !! Will come back

This resort is about 8kms from the centre of Sipalay , 100p a person on motorbike taxi , it’s located on the side of a hill with various types of bungalows we had a standard one no tv no ac just fans , room was good and very clean , cleaned every day ,there is a lot of steps up and down and great for exercising , no pool its on the beach , great restaurant good menu , lovely landscapes , staff are great 👍 everyone , easy check in , boss is a nice friendly guy 👌👍👍👍, diveing was great second time I have dived in Sipalay and its great driveing with about thirty dive sites all close , only a short boat ride , everyone to do with diveing 👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌will be back soon , great sunset, lots little creators bugs ants etc , good on the babie 🤪🤪🤪
