An honest review of SLR after 9 days staying there. We had a wonderful welcome from Sissi on arrival and shown to our two bedroom apartment over looking the pool. The room was perfect for a family of 3, gave us all the space required. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom very clean and a good shower. Maid service daily which was excellent.
Pool area also very good, quite a small pool so I imagine in peak season it would be crowded. The layout of the sun beds would be better is they removed the two metal big bar tables that serve no purpose at the pool side.
Location of the hotel is great, at one end of the strip with supermarkets either left or right as you come out with all you need for self catering.
The only small niggles we had and I feel good to share. Air Con is chargeable at €1 per hour and a deposit taken of €80 per AC unit, we had two, taking that to €160 and the amount used deducted from this at the end of the holiday. This is a very steep charge at the start of your holiday, especially if you’ve not budgeted for this. We end up choosing not to have it with the fear of a hefty bill at the end of the stay. This unfortunately made it quite a hot overnight for us all, wouldn’t like to experience it mid August at its peak. Thankfully a decent breeze late afternoon/night cooled the apartment down. This should be advertised pre-arrival with travel agent or on their website.

They advertise a pool bar, this is not the case. The bar is within the restaurant, no pool clothes or the option to bring drinks to the poolside. Also no “snack” options meaning lunchtime was back to the room or down the strip for food. I think if they made this more “day” friendly more guests would use it. We never saw anyone use the bar whilst we were there.

The place also lacked some atmosphere to be fair, very quiet round the pool which I know is some peoples preference but again, perhaps not having a bar/cafe pool side meant no music, chats etc.

We did have a wonderful stay, the staff were all lovely!

We have just returned after spending 10 days here.
We were In room 5 round the side with a terrace.
We had a one bedroom apartment. The apartment was well laid out. You walked through the door to a wardrobe facing you and the room opened up and had a area to sit, a dining table and 2 beds. Off this room was a bathroom and a small kitchen. The kitchen had a full size cooker, large fridge freezer and plenty of utensils.
Off this area was a separate good size bedroom that had an en suite bathroom.

I really loved the attention to detail by the owners that I’ve not seen in self catering accommodation before.

The gardens were immaculate and well tended.

The pool isn’t large but there was always plenty of sunbeds available at any time of day. The sunbeds weren’t most the comfortable types but this is my only negative about this place.

SLR is situated towards the edge of the resort but everything is within easy walking distance. There’s supermarkets within 2/3 minutes walk.
The restaurant wasn’t open due to staffing so I can’t comment on that.

Jet2 information says that there’s a pool bar but there isn’t. I don’t know if the restaurant offers something when it’s open. We did think that we’d miss having one but we didn’t plus it made it a cheaper holiday.

If you want a nice chilled out place to stay then this is the place to stay.

Fabulous little resort self catering complex in the resort of Lassi. Nice and quiet. Very clean.. the maid cleans every day! Staff very friendly and helpful. One downside is having to pay for air conditioning on arrival in cash only. Would be better to either include it in holiday price or at least pay by credit card. The kitchen area for self catering is very small with very limited utensils. There is a restaurant on site but its only open from 1830. It looked very nice but we did not use as there was a great choice just along the street and a supermarket near by for cooking in. All in all, we enjoyed our staff and would recommend it to all ages.

These apartments are ok but definitely not what are listed on jet2, very basic.
Firstly no bar as in per description and restaurant is never open. No music or atmosphere around the pool, no drinks allowed by the pool other than plastic bottled water or soft drinks that you will have to get at the local supermarket down the road.
Now the air con (con), its €80 euros per unit per room that if you turn it off my the remote the clock keeps ticking so you have to make sure you get up and turn off with a key at the main unit, also they are in wired places corner of the wall or above a cupboard so you won't feel the benefit, I could go on but probably my best advice is to stay across the road the makris yisolos apartments much more atmosphere and very few if any no's plus a late bar 😉

Very disappointed with this stay. EasyJet’s links you to SL Village , not the residence. This one has just recently reopened (notice amount and dates of reviews). The restaurant on site was never open (we were told upon Check-in that it was just for a couple of days, but it never did for our whole week stay.
Our shower and toilet were significantly flooding when we arrived (from under the shower and under the toilet) and it took the hotel 6 days (out of our 7 day stay) and several complaints for them to fix it.
The kitchen facilities were very basic (not even dish soap provided) and all the surfaces were sticky)
The children’s bedroom had a bunk bed that was not suitable for a child (height of bed, and railing did not hold a child rolling over), so one of our children had to sleep in the living room making the dining area inaccesible.
Aircon is charged, and you have to go to reception, pay a deposit, have them come to your room to do meter reading, and then they turn it on. They charge you separately per ac unit in the flat. It means that on your first night, if you’re suddenly hot in the middle of the night, you can’t just turn it on yourself.
Absolutely zero wifi in room, so don’t leave your island/holiday planning fue when you’re there.
The beach close by is very nice, but mostly taken up by paid for benches. Blue marine are really strict, not even allowing refillable water bottles (as they want you to buy from them) or sharing benches with children. We ended up using the Costa costa on the far end and never bothered by sharing or bringing our own snacks and water.
Disappointed with the amount of plastic waste created at the beach….

The villas are small but nice and the staff are very friendly. The bar and restaurant is great with the best beer we found on the island. The pool and pool area is too small and the pool had far too much chlorine in it. The position next to the beach is great and walking to the beach and tavernas is easy with a small family. I would not go back and would not recommend anyone stay as there is a hidden charge that can amount to 10 percent more. They ask for 80 euro cash when you arrive for each AC unit in the apartment. This can be an immediate 240 euro extra. They then charge 1 euro per hour you use each AC which they remove from the cash advance. For 1 AC for us for 50 hours they took 50 euro. This might not seem a lot but at home a 4 bed house with AC through out cost 50 euro in electric per month. In my opinion they are taking advantage of you as you can't be without AC with a young family. If it was charged at cost as an incentive to turn off your AC I could get onboard.Jet2 should inform you in big bold writing up front of this very heavy charge. This is the first time we have ever been charged extra for AC on a holiday. For that reason avoid this place. I have added a photo of the pool area and the small discreet entrance that is not well marked.

The San Lorenzo residence was a lovely place to stay.We were allocated a room overlooking the pool with a large balcony , shaded in the evening which was good. The room was spotless, the bed really comfortable and roomy, bedding changed regularly. There was a well equipped small kitchen area, sufficient for what we needed. The staff were lovely, friendly and always available. Very near shops and some excellent restaurants, close to Argostoli for evenings out. The only problem we had was being delivered to the wrong San Lorenzo Apartments , we were initially taken to the San Lorenzo village , and also found out there is a San Lorenzo Hotel - esasily sorted though !

Stayed here for a week at the beginning of September. We have been visiting Kefalonia for a number of years as a couple, however after having a little boy in January we decided we still needed our Kefalonia fix and this was one of the only self catering packages available in Lassi at time of booking. We already knew where the apartments were located and were pleased we would not need to walk far (or up and down any hills) to get to any local beaches or restaurants.

We did our research before our trip so we knew the apartments were quiet and had no pool bar etc, but this suited us fine given we had an 8month old with us. We were also aware of the air con charges which we were also fine with.

We enjoyed our stay at San Lorenzo Residence. It would not be our usual choice, but it was clean and quiet with lovely grounds and plenty of available sunbeds! If you want facilities such as a pool bar then this place is not for you.

Lovely clean apartments. The maid comes in daily.
Hairdryer and safe in the room. Iron available at reception.
Air con is priced at €1 per hour. A deposit of €80 in cash taken on arrival. A meter reading is taken on arrival & departure to calculate your usaged. Money refunded in cash for what you havent used out of the initial deposit.
Double bed was an actual double and not two beds pushed together. The room had everything we needed.
I would advise taking some sort of citronella candle if you want to sit outside in the evenings. I got alot of bites, husband and son ok.
Peaceful place with no issues. Pool big enough and no problems getting a sun loungers.
Staff friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.
Thanks all

We loved our stay here. The accommodation was spacious and clean and the grounds were well kept and pretty. The view of the bay and sunset from the balcony was brilliant. The staff were helpful, the other guests were lovely and our boys loved the pool. The restaurant wasn’t open due to staff shortages, but there were loads of nice places to eat nearby with amazing Greek food (Tzogias and Retseto especially). We enjoyed short walks to the two nearby beaches. The one next to Mediterranee was our favourite. The transfer from the airport is super short and Lassi is cute and not over developed with a few shops and supermarkets. We hired a jeep from CBR and explored the island, which we really enjoyed (particularly Antisamos). CBR were lovely and really helpful. We loved Kefalonia and will definitely be back.
