Captain Jim is in a good location plus it is cheap and basic. The room was quite big. There was a kettle and some cooking facilities plus a fridge too. The shower wasn't very good but I didn't mind that.

Very basic but great location, room had a sea view balcony and working aircon. Ok for a One Night stay. Close to town and port with many day trip boats to various places. Room had 3 single beds with clean bedding, working fridge & kettle....More

Traditional Cretan Food with a modern touch and many other european dishes. Simply Delicous! Good wine, good service, good people. I love this place. We come for dinner several times every year. Thumbs up for Capetan Jim.

Advantages: rooms with balcony, air condition, not far from city center, close to Palaiohora port and beach. Disadvantages: No credit cards accepted, no breakfast proposed. A room for three adults was book actually it was only for two.
