    You get what you pay for
    Apartments are spacious, clean and basic but adequate. Very dated, but reasonable 3 star accommodation. Lots of steps as stated on website. Grounds well maintained. Tasty snacks at pool bar. Ate there in evening too, food was good.

    Booked a one bedroom apartment as stated one double bed & one single bed as opposed to studio which stated 2 single beds and sofa bed. both apartment choices stated fold up bed was also part of the deal. We ended up with two single beds not double bed...we were told at reception…

    Not the best
    Hotel not great for kids if the weather is bad... nothing for them to do! Hotel looks like it stepped straight from the 1970’s... 2 bedroom apartments are great size but very very dated. Kids club advertised but not available!

    I've booked a 3-bed for July and have 3 kids (aged 16, 14 & 10). Was considering asking for an apartment "over the bridge" based on reviews here, but will my kids miss out on all the activities if I'm over the quieter side? Anyone with kids/teenagers - what's your view? Thanks.
    We only went over the other side once but as stated it’s only one minute away from the other side, but saying that I would recommend the reception side the pool area is very good and the pool restaurant is excellent as are the staff. It’s quiet and the only problem with both sides is no lifts. Hope you have a lovely holiday.

    Are the sun beds locked away until a certain time in the morning during July/August?
    I stayed end of July 2018 and my room looked out onto the pool near reception. The pool area is locked until 8am, but a queue does form quite quickly to get the best spots!

    yes,the pool at the reception side is locked till 9am ,but if you go to the pool over the bridge this is not locked

    To Clube Alvorferias, I have noticed that you have responded to some people's reviews be stating "We are improving our facilities", please could you tell me what these improvements will be? Many thanks
    I was here in October last year and we were told by staff that the complex was being going to be refurbished in 2019 with all the rooms having WiFi available in them.

    Do all top floor rooms have a roof terrace or are they specific rooms?
