We spent 4 nights very recently and we could not find any fault about our stay. The welcoming was really nice. After a 13 hours trip from England in a extremely hot weather, the Lady of the Chateau served us a chilled glass of white wine with few slices of saucisson on the terrace overviewing the park. After all the traffic we faced, the place was so quite, it was absolutely lovely. The bedroom was absolutely adequate and comfortable. And the breakfast, only thinking about it now I am salivating. First of all you are served in beautiful room again overlooking the park and you have a huge choice of teas, plus of course coffee and hot chocolate if wanted. You have a choice of several fresh French breads, plus croissant or pain au chocolat. You have local and organic fruit juices (apricot is so delicious). And the best of all, you have the amazing choice of home made jams, made with the fruits harvested on the property. You can of course enjoy a walk in the park and see the wild life like red squirrels, deers, huge fish in the pond and a lot of happy birds in the magnificent trees. If you stay there, enjoy.

A lovely Chateau which was our first night stop after leaving Roscoff and going south. A lovely room with ensuite, a super pool, just right after a hot days drive, and a very comfortable stay. Excellent breakfast to set us on our way. Would certainly recommend.

We only stayed here for one night on our return home, wish we could have stayed longer .......another time! Our suite was in the old part of the château on the first floor overlooking the park and garden, we saw deer roaming the beautifully peaceful grounds whilst sipping a complemetary glass of surprisingly good chilled rosé. The comfortable rooms were tastefully furnished, quiet and extremely clean. The breakfast was delicious with an exceptional array of home produced or locally sourced produce. Monsieur Barthélemy, the proprietor was friendly and very helpful, he did speak English but was happy to allow me to practise my French! We would definitely recommend this as a beautiful and interesting place to stay, close to many of the fabulous châteaux of the Loire and yet with the tranquility of an out of town location. We will return!

Stopped here for 1 night on our way down to Ile de Re. We stayed in one of the family rooms which had 2 bedrooms, 1 downstairs with 2 single beds for the children & the master bedroom upstairs with a very comfortable circular bed & a luxurious bathroom. We met up with family here and had the outdoor swimming pool to ourselves! We were also permitted to use the BBQ area which meant we could relax after a long journey and the kids could play in the pool. Breakfast was excellent and certainly set us up for a day of exploring the area & continuing our journey. I would highly recommend staying here but 1 night isn't enough!
