This is a wonderful place to rest, replenish, and revive your body and soul. It is a wonderful location with the most amazing sunrises. If you love to walk along the ocean, surf the waves, or swim in the calm water, this retreat has it all. Family oriented but near hot spots. Easy access to the highways will allow you to drive around the island and find hidden gems. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Puerto Rico is a wonderful destination and a great value. I will return.
We stayed here for 2 nights in August. Good location if you are visiting El Yunque. It is right in front of the beach. Very local area. We even ate at the food truck parked across the street and got Pina coladas from a vendor making them from the back of his truck. Very secure and gated. Room was big and spacious and AC was cold. Very happy with our stay. Highly recommended
We had a great time, the front desk staff (Shakira was there when we arrived, I believe the other lady was Diana) was super friendly and helpful. They had good recommendations for off-the-beaten-path beaches for snorkeling. Room was clean and spacious, fridge and AC worked perfectly and it had an unforgettable view, leave your balcony door open to hear the ocean at night! Literally across the street from the beach. Hotel will lend you beach chairs and towels, one less thing to pack. The bar/balcony area upstairs is a great place to watch the sunrise, read or just drink a beer. The area is safe and the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and bars. Walgreens and a supermarket are within a 5 minutes drive.
If you want to stay in a hotel near the beach, this spot can't be beat. We had stayed here about 5 years ago, and it's still doing great. POSITIVES: - Really reasonably priced - Everything seemed very clean - Awesome beach views from the windows/balcony - Front desk staff are quite nice - Very walkable to beach and local restaurants - Great A/C! - Fridge/freezer made it easier for us to keep snacks - Free and easy parking; quick drive to the kioscos for meals or El Yunque for hiking NEGATIVES: - There are some spots where the hotel shows its age, like rust near the top of the blinds, or the underside of the balcony bar, etc. But it's only cosmetic. - Like most beachside spots, when we left food out, some ants came. - I don't think there's an elevator, so you're carrying your stuff if you're on a higher floor. - The continental breakfast is quite light these days: coffee, piece of fruit, and some crackers. - Some folks like to cruise along the beach with loud music, which you will likely hear. We'd definitely stay here if we're in the area again!…
Excellent service, friendly staff, easy access to the beach. Great location and easy to find good restaurant nearby. Not far from the airport. The front desk staff was very helpful to find activities around the beach area. I would definitely come back again and highly recommended this hotel. The price for the hotel room was reasonable.
