Cute area...the Inn was clean, reasonable and we had a nice back deck that was essentially on the water..Had a good dinner and drinks at the pub..I would stay there again if passing through the area...Very quiet...
We had dinner here after Jet Sking all day during the 1000 Islands poker run. The menu was fantastic and all the food was delicious. I had the Chicken on Nan bread with Poutine. My cousin had the chicken burger with poutine.
While visiting the area with my family we stayed at the boathouse for one night. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. I have never stayed anywhere that staff coming and going all wished us good night and good morning. We ate supper at the boathouse and it was amazing to see the variety of customers they serve. From bikers to businessmen everyone enjoyed the view of the river and the delicious food. Rooms are small but well laid out. Housekeepers are the friendliest I have encountered. Worth every penny and we will be back for sure. Margie from the pub and Sidney from the boathouse thank you for your excellent service.
I will start off by saying I am not one to complain and generally find something good in everything. The exception is this motel. Sure the area is beautiful but so is Gananoque or Kingston. The room was just plain terrible. For 200 a night I expect certain things. What I got was a hot moldy smelling room. The fridge was turned off upon arrival, why I have no idea. The bathroom you can barely turn around in. The toilet was disgusting. Old hair ever where in the bathroom on floor sink and in tub. The cable came and went all night with no storm in sight? And we only watched TV because other than the daytime boat tours and the two restaurants there is not a thing to do here. And last but not least, the blood spots on my sheets on my bed and the disgusting comforter topped off my…
Cute waterside rooms. The back door lead out to a shared balcony with 4 chairs and a rustic wood and stone table. We enjoyed watching the boats and listening to the water laps up in the shore. Great outdoor patios in both the Cornwall pub and at the main restaurant. Very quiet and relaxing place.y
