Have stayed here many times before but this time stayed in the Witches hat VIP room which is very quirky and over two floors, perfect for our 9 yr old granddaughter who loved it. Staff were all really great and when we did have a small issue in the room it was sorted out immediately. The room could probably do with a refurb now but worth staying in especially if you have younger children. Ideal location for the caves and the other activities with plenty of free parking. Will definitely stay again.

I thought the hotel was pretty excellent value. Nothing special of course but for £30 a night you don't expect it. Only thing I didn't appreciate was the fact that cleaners and staff must have entered my room about five times before my 11am check out.

We bought a winter wonderland package.Stayed in the witches hat.Quirky room but sofa bed like sleeping on a brick. Without doubt the worst continental breakfast I have ever had there was no choice and to open little cartons of milk to put on cereals is just ridiculous. Disorganised and disappointed especially when the children didn’t get a gift but still payed full price. The caves themselves were lovely, and the penny machines nice.Would be nice for the day but wouldn’t stay at the hotel again.

Great location. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable. Staff helpful and courteous. Things for them to think about; please expand your menu, not all children and adults only want chicken nuggets or burger and chips/processed food. Fresh jugs of milk are needed for the cereal rather than, opening with difficulty, those small cartons. And some fruit at breakfast would be nice. Need to consider putting mini fridges in the superior rooms. Overall a lovely couple of days.
