Love this place, been coming for years and it just gets better. Plentiful hot water, showers and washing up station, doggy wash point, clean toilets and especially for 2020, covid safe. Almost don't want to post this review as limited touring pitches and want to selfishly keep it to myself. Thank you Brian for another fabulous holiday

We first discovered this site back in 2002, when our children were small and have been back about 7 times since. We always stay in a static, never bothered which one. The caravans have no plumbing but there are toilets and 2 showers, all a bit basic but clean. There are water taps to get your drinking water from. Site is utterly beautiful nestled under the majestic viaduct a minute from the entrance to the waterfalls walk. Village is about 4 minutes walk away but theres quite a steep hill to climb! Shops are quaint and there is a co-op with an ATM, and it's open until late. We think that the Wheatsheaf is the best pub with its big beer garden. The river Greta runs alongside the site and when we visited last week it was very low, perfect for paddling and fishing with nets, but children would need supervision. Chickens wander around the site and the cockerel crows every morning which doesn't bother us as we expect that in the countryside. Our van had 2 bedrooms, kitchen, plenty of lounge space all the cutlery crockery etc you need but we do tend to eat out anyway. You can get eggs from the farmer, Mr Morphet. It's the sort of site you kick off your shoes, relax, watch the world go buy, tune in to the sounds of the countryside and I came home feeling refreshed and very chilled. Our boys, now aged 15 and 17, and my son's 15 year old girl friend loved it. Ingleton has an outside pool set by the river, can get busy so go early when it opens it's a beautiful setting. We played Frisbee, tennis, dominoes cards, sunbathed, paddled not a sign of boredom from anyone. Would recommend this site with no hesitation, good old fashioned british caravan holiday without an arcade, funfair, or x box in sight :)

We stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and had a lovely time. We were a bit dubious due to some of the negative reviews on here but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The caravans are dated so if you're after 5 star accommodation then I suggest you go elsewhere but for the bargain price of £25pn we were more than happy. It is in such a peaceful location - we sat outside with a glass of wine on the Saturday evening and you could here a pin drop. A selections of pubs, cafes and shops are a short walk away and there in a co-op nearby for your supplies. My husband was doing 3 peaks on the Saturday and finding such reasonably priced accommodation meant that the children and I could come along and support him - really easy to pop back to base and refil the flask etc. The toilets were what you'd expect from a basic caravan site but we didn't use the showers so can't pass comment (thank goodness for baby wipes). We found the owner to be very friendly and welcoming and the site was very well kept. All in all a fantastic weekend and we will definitely be returning as I'd take this site over a big busy haven site any day of the week.

Right then, this is the cheapest caravan site I have ever come across and we were not expecting a lot. However, the location is amazing, the site is fine if you are not fussy - and great not to be worried about the kids making a mess etc - and we had a great holiday for a ridiculously cheap price. We are returning this year and the children could not be more excited - outdoor pool in the village, river through the site, friendly village; why would they not be? It is basic and

it was a lovely week. the caravan was a 70-80s timewarp, perfectly comfy and clean, it took me back to hols with my mum and dad.The bedding was lovely and fresh when we arrived: dried outside on a washing line, I think, and had that lovely smell. No plumbing, but loads of very hot water at the utility block, and I met and chatted to loads of people doing the washing up and getting water there. So old fashioned!, got us out and the kids off the play stations. The river has a great swimming place, not just a pool in a river, it has loads of fun features, it's some sort of old mill site, with a salmon ladder. there's fishing allowed, and a man there when we were, was catching trout! I just loved the old style vibe to the place. It's all a bit cheap looking, rough and ready and well worn, but comfy, clean and feels good. we felt the price was worth it for the place alone. We will be back!

We come here as a group of motorcyclists for a weekend of touring round the country side, we have done this for the last 2 years and are booking again for this year, the vans are cheap and cheerful, keep you dry and warm with comfy beds, cooking facilities and a gas fire, beats camping in a tent any day! you are a quick walk into the centre of Ingelton to the local club, pubs, restaurants and shops, ingleton caters for everyone's taste. There may not be any running water etc in the vans, but there is a clean toilet block, showers and washing up facilities but you can do what we do and use a water carrier and do your washing up in the van. The site is literally a minute from Ingleton Falls. It does tell you on the site to bring your own sleeping bags but we have always had duvets and covers when we've go there. it's the best find ever :)

Brian is great and runs an excellent site. We took our tourer which was £10 per night minimum 2 night stay. There are caravans to hire also from £25 per night. It truly was an incredible site in an incredible Village. We purchased plants in the small garden centre and ate at the Wheatsheaf bed and breakfast I recommend the chicken in mushroom and white wine sauce absolutely delicious

The wife and I went here in our motorhome. We originally booked 2 nights but stayed for three.
The charge is £10 per night, for this you get electric, toilets, showers and an amazing location. Not many other sites can offer this. There are no other charges for dogs etc.
The site is mainly static caravans apart from two pitches for motorhomes or touring caravans. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from The Ingleton waterfalls trail, and the village with four nice pubs, some shops and a few restaurants.
The statics on the site are on the older side, the toilets/ showers are old fashioned and basic but this didn't bother us. Pitches are rough gravel. Everything was reasonably clean and worked and that's all that we ask for.
We enjoyed our stay here.Highly recommended.

Had 3 days away from the mayhem & enjoyed the peace & quiet this little haven provides. Situated almost in the centre of Ingleton it has plenty on the doorstep so the car is not required for much of the visit.

Stayed two nights over bank holiday weekend in our motor home. Reasonable price that included electric hook up. Nice site with toilets but we couldn't find the showers! Not a problem as we have one anyway. Toilets are a bit shabby but clean. Site is almost in the middle of the village with a pub and shops nearby and the waterfall trail is only across the road. Lovely part of the world and we would go again without hesitation. Only one thing we didn't like - mouldy dog poo in some places on site. Wish people would use the bins provided, its not the site owners responsibility to clean up after someone else's pooch :-(
