This was the perfect place to stay. The views were incredible, the pool was beautiful without many people walking by. The staff were amazing - they couldn’t do enough for you! The room was spacious and lovely. We had a transfer and used this a few times - so reliable. Breakfast by the pool was such a magical experience.

The staff at Sophia Luxury Suites consistently went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. It's perhaps the best vacation my husband and I have taken in our 25 years together, from the location to the accommodations to the staff. It was our first visit to Santorini, and we specifically chose Imerovigli because we had read that Fira had a vibrant nightlife and that Oia had a lot of visitors for the daily sunset. Our vacation style is more reserved in the sense of wanting to be more secluded and less touristy. Besides, with the view of the caldera from our room, we didn't need to be in Oia to see the sunset there. We chose this room because of the space it offered, the seclusion it offered, and the indoor private cave pool available to us downstairs. As Greece reopened within the EU, it was at first sad to find that the health ministry put a restriction on indoor pools requiring them to be emptied. Thankfully, during our vacation, the restriction was removed, the pool was filled, and we took full advantage of it. We also had the outdoor plunge pool available to us with excellent views across the caldera from Akrotiri to Oia. When I say that the staff went above and beyond, they were constantly available to us. Hope was beyond fantastic and connected with us using What's App. She checked in on us daily to see if there was anything we needed. And when we did need anything, she was only a text message away with quick response and a helpful point of view. We didn't have to lift a finger...well, other than to send a text message. We didn't rent a car, so we had the team drive us to Oia for the day or arrange an island tour, etc. No request from us was too extreme. They accommodated everything we asked. Admittedly we did splurge on this vacation, from private tours of the island to a 5 course sunset dinner at the hotel to a private cruise around the caldera. The view and hospitality and the room were all worth it.

This place has the best view in Santorini!!!
My partner and I spent 4days here for his birthday and I must say this holiday was one of the best we’ve ever had. Waking up to the view was everything! Words can’t describe how beautiful it was from our room and balcony. We had the Aurora room with our own pool outside which was warm enough for a dip anytime of the day. We spent most evening in the pool watching the sunset ( again, best location for this).
We had our room cleaned everyday throughout our stay even without request. We ordered room service a couple times, and the food was good. Breakfast was served on the balcony overlooking the beautiful caldera and Skaros rock. We took a lot of Amazing photos which everyone loves! We kept getting messages from friends and family for the location as the views were Breath taking.
Location wise this place was perfect for us. 25 minutes walk to get to the centre of Fira. A lot of walking to do in Santorini so make sure to wear comfortable shoes. 15 euro for radio taxi or 30 euro for the hotel taxi service to the centre of Fira which is around 10mins drive, there you can find all the clubs, shopping, McDonald’s, buses etc..
From the centre we also was able to get the bus to the beach, and a lot of other buses to other parts of the island. We rented a buggy and drove to Oia 25 mins away. For location this hotel is perfect for getting around, it’s very convenient even if it take 25 mins walk to get to the centre. Along the trail the views are amazing. The only time you would require a taxi is mostly at nights when it’s dark.
Book this place! it’s clean, comfortable, best views and great customer service.

This is an amazing hotel with incredible caldera views, lovely rooms and very friendly staff. Stayed in an Aurora Cave Suite and were delighted by the private jacuzzi and the superb views from the private balcony. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and is fantastic - the pancakes are to die for as is the Greek yoghurt with honey & walnuts! Highly recommend the luxury boat trip that is offered - this was the highlight of our trip and the staff on the boat are really lovely and provide an exceptional experience. The only thing that slightly lets the suites down is that you sometimes have to ask a few times to have something done - we had to ask repeatedly throughout our stay to have the automatic cleaner turned on in our jacuzzi and the housekeeping didn't clean our room as requested on a day when we were out. Very small things but for luxury suites these things would make it perfect!

Two years ago they said, “we will give you a voucher so you can come stay when we reopen!”. Once we were able to reschedule we were informed the room we had booked was under construction and that there was nothing else comparable, but they would be happy to “upgrade us” for an additional $2,000 out of pocket or book is at a different location without the amenities we had in our our original booking.
We’ve been so patient, but promising to payback almost $5,000 for two years and failing to do so has ticked me off!
We went from getting our money back may 2021, to October 2021, then Dec 21, April 22… (with additional date pushes in between) now they say June this year. Horrible experience, don’t book here. If anything goes wrong they will tie up you money, and refuse to answer emails when you ask why payment isn’t received after the date they’ve given. Way to go sophiacollectionsantorini for providing an unforgettable honeymoon experience!
Photos provided are snippets of the emails, as you can only include 10 photos.

Spent 7 days at the hotel and enjoyed a great stay. The hotel offers nice view in a quite spot. In less than an hour you can reach the island capital and following a fantastic trail in less than 2 hours Oia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Started with the organized pick-up at the airport, a temporary room while we arrived around 10 am, the reception.....
We booked an Aurora Cave Suite which was very cozy (kind of open bath/WC needs to get used to :-) ) and offering a private balcony and small pool. Breakfast brought to the room every day and was really tasty.
Followed the proposal to join a semi-private catamaran sunset trip which was really worthwhile. A lot of space, a friendly crew and good food.

We had an amazing week at Sophia! The staff was very accommodating every day. The breakfast was unbeatable and we had the aurora room in the best location a bit hidden away so very private and higher up. The room isn’t huge and the bed is smaller then our king at home but those were things we knew before! Also the pool is heated but not a jacuzzi so for end of season was a bit chilly but didn’t stop us from going in! Alex gave great recommendations, goldie took us on 4 hour wine tour and Philip and the other staff took care of our food and drink needs everyday.

We stayed for our honeymoon and were really disappointed with the room we were given. We had problems with noise and dampness in our room for the 3 nights we were there.
We had a "character cave room" which was direct onto a very busy walkway (a popular route from Imerovigli to Thera). Our window and door opened directly onto this so no privacy to look at the view from our room. We were also woken up by people noisy when passing during the night.
We had a cave pool in our room which was quirky and different but creates dampness and noise in the room. We had poor sleep because of noises - it woke us up throughout the night stopping and starting. We spoke to staff about this each morning and they attempted to adjust this. It didn't work on any of the nights and we had poor sleep each of the nights we were there.
Dampness was a problem that we weren't expecting and you can feel it in the air. This was difficult for two people with athsma. We asked to move but they said it was fully booked so not possible.
The pool/bath also is very difficult to get in and out of without causing water to come into the bathroom. It is designed poorly so it makes the area by the toilet very slippery. Multiple times both of us nearly fell and I can see from reading reviews that this has happened to customers previously (so counting ourselves lucky on that one!).
One bonus is that there is a private terrace (still up some steps and on a walkway so not all that private) that has a beautiful view. This and the breakfast was one redeeming feature.
Overall we wouldn't stay again or recommend staying here. It was very expensive for what it was- I would say I would expect to pay half of what we paid if I had seen it before booking.

My sister and I took a trip to Santorini for my birthday. I chose to stay in Sophia Luxury Suites in Imerovigli after seeing their cave - like suites on Instagram. The place is beautiful. All of the balconies faces the Aegean Sea and the Cycladic elements and its whitewash stones gives it the Greek vibe. We stayed in the Crypt Exclusive Cave Suite with Indoor & Outdoor Plunge Pool with its unique and charming decor.
The staff were all very welcoming and went above and beyond to make our state pleasurable. My first encounter with the staff member was with Goldie, our driver, who met us at the airport. The bellhop assist us with our luggages, whose name I wished I had gotten so I could give him acknowledgment as well because I was very impressed with him carry my 23 kg suitcase on his shoulder while rolling my sisters 25kg luggage on the long path to our suite while navigating the many stairs to our room.
At reception Rafaeloc, Anna, and Dennis were very welcoming and accommodating. They were able to assist us with finding activities, arranged our ATV rental and in our in room massage. On our first night there, Anna arranged my birthday dinner on the balcony during sunset which was an amazing, and the sunset was stunning. Anytime we stop by the office with any questions or concerns they were quick to answer and resolved any issues that we came across.
Due to covid, we were required to retake a PCR test 72hr before going back into the states. Rafaeloc and Anna located the clinic and scheduled our test. My sister was having issues getting her results, Rafaeloc was able to obtain the results immediately after speaking with the clinic. Which was greatly appreciate.
Breakfast was served each morning either in our room or set-up on the balcony by Gerti, the room service personal. He was very pleasant and prompt with our food. I’ll breakfast was made to order on a menu and started at 9 AM in the morning.
My stay at Sophia Luxury Suites was amazing I enjoyed the hospitality of all the staff that was there who made my sister and I trip to Santorini enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Santorini.

When we arrived by night, we discovered our room with a romantic decoration (Clio package) with candles and roses on the floor. The champaign was fresh and excellent. We tried the hot tub right away and enjoyed it in the dark.
The morning was even better, with a breathless view and a perfect breakfast.
All our stay was idyllic and the Team anticipated all our demands.
We were spoiled by the staff. They were adorable and helpfull.
The room was clean and tidy, everyday. Despite COVID measures that everyone respected, it was marvellous.
Everyone was discreet and respectfull.
We recommend to have some of your meals at the hotel with a good quality and price. It was excellent.
We had a wonderfull honeymoon private dinner (Clio package). Kevin, our waiter, was kind and effective.
We thanks the chef, Evin, for all the fine dishes. It was cooked with perfection.
The wine was tatsy and delicate (recommanded by the waiter).
The reception staff were lovely.
The Aurora suite had a good privacy (as told initially by email).
Everything was perfect and we were sad to leave such a wonderful place.
The best trip we did in our life!

Dear btmonroe,
thank you for your message.
Kindly be informed that there are several suites with indoor and outdoor plunge pool; Crypt, Utopia, Sophia Honeymoon, Superior Honeymoon.
We suggest that you have a look at the Sophia Honeymoon for your stay.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us for further information.
Kind regards,
Sophia Collection
The hotel arranged for pickup from and return to the airport in their own shuttle.
Driving could be a bit challenging in some of the towns, but it's certainly possible to rent a car and get around.
We preferred taxis, they were easy to find and you can call the front desk and they will arrange.
Dear TundraEdge,
Greetings from Greece!
We would like to thank you for your kind message and interest at Sophia Luxury Suites. We promise that we will do our best in order to provide an amazing stay in case you choose to honor us with your preference!
The Enigma Cave Suites have a private outdoor plunge pool that has other plunge pools of other suites attached to it. They are our larger suites however they offer less privacy compared to our other suites. They are more recommended for families with children at least 15 years old or groups of friends. They have a comfortable and large open plan indoor space, however only one bathroom and their outdoor space is more comfortable for 2 guests.
There are 2 Enigma Suites in the hotel, and the allocation depends on the availability at the day of arrival. For all of the pictures and more information regarding those suites please visit our website at the stay tab.
We remain at your entire disposal for anything further and look forward to your reply or to receive your reservation.
Kind regards,
The Sophia Collection Team
Hello,
The exclusive offer does include breakfast but I'm unsure of the difference between the two. Sorry i can't help. My advice is to stay here. We stayed in the luxury suites Caldera with private pool and it was amazing.
