I had been dreaming of visiting Greece for some time. And the dream came true! I started with Athens and ended up with Santorini.
Despite having heard so much about Santorini and having seen so many photos too, it was only by visiting it with my own eyes that I could understand that its beauty goes far beyond anything you can imagine!
And if the island itself is beautiful, my stay at the Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites simply made the days I spent there one of the most spectacular I've ever experienced!
In addition to the huge suite with a small entrance space, where there was a table and two sofas, the interior of the suite had a living room with a dining table, a good sofa, TV, Wi-Fi and even access to a bathroom. Also from this part of the suite, you had access to its private pool! Continuing inside, the bedroom was quite spacious with a comfortable double bed. Before reaching the second bathroom, there was a small dress room, with a good closet. The second bathroom was much bigger than the first one and in addition to the usual hygiene products such as shower gel, shampoo, body milk, etc. there were also bathrobes and slipers.
The view from the suite is breathtaking and just in front, we find a large umbrella and four sun loungers. On a slightly lower level, we find two other loungers, wider and over water! The sunsets I witnessed there were simply wonderful!
Still regarding the view from the suite, what more could one ask for, when the breakfasts were fantastic? With a menu with a varied choice, should one want something extra, the hotel does everything to satisfy your desire. Basket of breads, croissants, pains au chocolat, cheese and ham toast, cheese and tomato toast, butter, pastries, coffee, tea, Greek yogurt with fruit and honey, fruit salad, but also scrambled egg and Greek omelet with peppers and feta cheese, what more could one ask for?
Last but not least! A very special note to all the hotel staff! From the reception staff, to the breakfast boy and even the room maids, all of them, without exception, were extremely friendly, polite and professional!
It was therefore with sadness I left the Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites because, as I said before, my stay there was simply fabulous! Oh Santorini! I want to go back! And when that will happen again, I'll be there at Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites! That I am sure!

Iliovasilema ( in the quiet village of Imerovigli) is one of the most highest situated hotels of Santorini with an exceptional view on the caldera and the sunset. We were there in July and Santorini was ...empty. Good for us, but bad for the (all open) restaurants and bars. The hotel has nice rooms/appart. Despite of Covid, the service was outstanding and good organized (breakfast on your choice and served on your terrasse as well as drinks afterwards), the reception always reachable and had always an ear for you. The pool is small, but you have anyway a lot to see on the island. The hotel arranges you taxi and gives you good advices. Cptain George sailing is one of the onliest who really SAILS ! Don't miss a trip to Armeni (with excellent fish restaurants), but don't miss the sun going slowly down (even more romantic than the famous sunset). All in all, we think that this quiet hotel was what were were looking for (we had analyzed a lot of them!).

The staff at Iliovesilema suites were absolutely brilliant at helping us during our stay and making it as comfortable as possible. Maria on reception is a real star providing good advice on sites to visit in Santorini , she sorted out any questions or issues we had at the hotel . Panos the manger is brilliant too always attentive to our needs . The views from our room of the sunset were great . Breakfast in the hotel was to our rooms due to covid situation which was actually a bonus . Andreas the guy that brought us our breakfast was great always on time and very friendly. Recommend the hotel highly

We were in 3 hotels in Santorini and Iliovasilema Suites has definitely the best view from the hotel! We didn't want to go to eat somewhere else, because view was incredible, the best spot for sunset! We had a good terrace with jacuzzi, water was pleasant. Water in the pool was great for swimming even for windy weather. Unfortunately, we had not the best service. For having cleaning you must do a request one day before (nobody explained it to us),but at least they gave us some shampoo and shower gel after asking. Room service works only until 4 pm, so you cannot order dinner (hopefully there are few restaurants nearby and if you want to eat in your room, you can ask dishes at the reception). Breakfast was not bad, but portions were little if to compare with other hotels. If you leave early in the morning, you will have only drinks, 4 mini croissants and jam. We ordered gyros and Greek salad for the lunch few times, they were good! Prices were acceptable.

Regarding the service that you mention specially for the housekeeping i personally informed you upon your arrival that this year due to COVID-19 restrictions we don't enter to the rooms every day for safety reasons and if you need something you just give us a call and we immidiatelly respond. About the room service we have 24 h room service only the kitchen operating till 16:00 pm. You are the first person that you are saying that our breakfast was not bad and our potions were little because all of our guest rate our breakfast as excellent. I cannot understand why you weren't satisfied, as we have a lot of a la carte options. Also regarding the early breakfast be advised that bread basket with bread,croissants,cakes,jams,honey,butter,coffees,tea and fruits included. We stayed for a week from 9 to 16 October. The hotel is very clean and "Covid friendly". Our room was spaceous and well appointed with toiletries etc, the view from our balcony was stunning. The breakfast is excellent, a large menu to choose from and so nice to have it delivered to our room so that we could eat on the balcony. The hotel is situated close to the cliff top footpath which took us to Fera (3km) or Oia (10km). The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The hotel were very flexible with our booking ( we were forced to amend our holiday dates due to Easyjet cancelling our flights). The best hotel we have ever stayed at, we look forward to returning again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Just spent 8 nights at Iliovasilema Suites - absolutely brilliant - amazing views over the Caldera and stunning sunsets. Really comfortable bed! Great location with lots of great bars and restaurants within a short walk. Panos and his team made us very welcome and couldn’t have been more helpful - would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

We booked through Tui but wish we had just booked direct. Sadly our initial impression of a junior suite did not meet our expectations. This I think was down to Tui & their misinformation. So check your understanding of your room at time of booking. Every room is different. The location is perfect. The best place I think on the island for sunsets and just the most stunning views. Two of my sisters had been and I trusted their judgement. Be on the Caldera. Oia and Fira too busy. August must be hell. Imerovigli just the most wonderful base for a holiday. The hotel is a set of 19 rooms (i think) on a steep cliff with narrow steep steps - dodgy knees or any fitness issues please avoid. But otherwise unique and beautiful. The staff were amazing. Special mention to Sotiris who I think was the most hard working and conscientious worker Ive seen. You handled those steps magnificently. Paris you were great too. So helpful and nothing too much trouble. The lovely housekeeping staff too. I didnt catch your name but thank you for your smiles. Despina on reception you are star. You booked our tours and I really valued how you whatsapped us after our sunset cruise to see if we’d enjoyed it. So sweet!!! However, stop directing people to the archeological museum in Fira - it has been closed for 2 years 🤣🤣 or to the Fish Tavern in Amoudi Bay which was our biggest disappointment 🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I We loved Pearl on the Cliff to eat and Anogi (wonderful food). I loved my walk to Skaros castle and the little church each morning, our Fira visits and our big walk to Oia (a must do - it’s not that bad a walk at all!) Wish our room had a full length mirror and I think all rooms should have small coffee machines. Also when you buy a cocktail for 15€ I think a small dish of olives or nuts should automatically be an accompaniment. The prices in Santorini are beyond insane and I think the quality of service and attention to detail is what will make a difference to the long term success of these places.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in the Iliovasilema Suites. Although we were only here for 2 nights we thought the hotel was really well located with a lovely sunset view. Rooms were clean and well furnished. We loved how bright the rooms were and air con was appreciated. We especially loved the morning breakfast which is served on your own little terrace area. Our room had a private pool which was pretty chilly but great fun. Room also included a fridge to store water in (it is also a mini bar).

From the moment we booked our stay with Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites they were incredible. Any questions we had were answered, they assisted with our transfers and provided restaurant recommendations. They also helped us arrange a quad bike to travel the island for the day. Location for us was just perfect, there are a couple of shops at the top, the walk to the capital (Fira) is around 40mins but the main walkway has beautiful views the entire time. Imerovigli is quieter which after being in Fira most days was nice and relaxing to come back to. You can walk to Oia from where we stayed as well but we never did (around 2hr30 walk). Personally we preferred Fira to Oia so it made our location even more perfect as we went there most days. I’d made Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites aware that it was our wedding anniversary whilst we were with them and was gob smacked that they’d arranged a stunning room upgrade for us to their swim out pool room! The room was beyond beautiful and the pool lovely and warm. With us travelling in October it was a lot cooler in the evenings and we spent every night relaxing in that pool. Breakfast is on your balcony whilst staying with Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites, purely because of the immense view you get no matter what room you’re staying in. They offer a wide selection which you pick the night before and will even cater to your needs if there is something not on the menu to your liking. We used the hotels restaurant on our wedding anniversary as the balcony has stunning views for sunset. The food and drinks were lovely and all the staff at the hotel are just amazing. 100% would recommend Iliovasilema Hotel & Suites as the place to stay whilst in Santorini!

We stayed 2 nights at Iliovasilema and was AMAZING! First of all the people here are making you feel so special! They welcomed us we the most sincere smile, Manos went above and beyond for us. He offered us un upgrade for one night in the honeymoon suite that we took. He made us the best recommendation for restaurants and he and Maria were very prompt when we called the reception because we needed something ( to eat, to drink, a towel or anything) Iliovasilema is situated in the best part of the island if you want to see the perfect sunset ( the best part of Imerovigli for the sunset starts from grace hotel to white hotel). The sunset can be seen from every room or from the pool area that is very nice. On our second night we stayed at a junior suite, very lovely loft. We loved our short stay here and for sure we will be back

I believe Illiovasilema Suite can. I would ask them. Outstanding property. Simply call and ask . We stayed in the honeymoon suite and and jacuzzi suite. both had large living rooms with a couch (don't know if was a fold out) had plenty of room for a roll away if needed.
The room we had (18) was spacious and had the luxury of a caldera view swimout pool that we took advantage to relax in.
Perfect view - have a look at my review dated October 1. Enjoy it if you do book.
