Location is ideal on the island. Central enough to get to food nearby and with incredible sweeping caldera views.

Room was very comfortable - some issues with hot water at peak usage times e.g., right after sunset and before dinner (not sure that this is the hotel's fault or simply an island infrastructure issue). Private balcony offered incredible views away from the throngs of foot traffic.

Pool was incredible with friendly staff.

Nice breakfast.

Delivered on quality and value.

If you’re going to Santorini, look no further. Hands down this hotel has the most spectacular location, at the end of a path on a rocky outcrop where you can see the entire caldera. Santorini hotels are usually small, but this one felt like a resort, with a large (gorgeous) pool. The other thing to note is that most Santorini hotels, even 5 stars, people can walk right by and see into (Grace hotel, for example), since they’re all bisected or surrounded by public paths. This one isn’t (its self contained and private), making it even more amazing.

And lastly, the staff. Oh boy, the staff. Probably the most incredible thing about this hotel is the people. They start by giving you a personalized tour and welcome drink, and every staff member you meet learns and remembers your name for the entire stay. At breakfast, for example, the concierge is walking around the tables, ready to help with any of your needs for the day. And once you arrive at breakfast, the concierge knows your name, and makes a call to housekeeping to clean your room while you’re at breakfast (without asking, or anything). Simply amazing (shoutout to Constadina).

Look no further, it’s a magical place, stay here (in the Petra wing).

Trying to find a resort to stay at in Santorini can be daunting with literally 000s to choose from, it’s was over whelming.

After a lot of research, reviews, we settled on Honeymoon Petra., for its location, views, reviews, size and most importantly for us, its privacy in relations to been over looked etc.

Once booked; the hotel front desk were on hand to answer any questions, request, booking of tours, restaurants and general help. Their responsiveness and interaction prior to our arrival was unrivalled to other hotels we have stayed at.

When we arrived, the resort lived up to our very high expectation, from the bellboys taking our luggage from the drop off point to our suite in the original part of the hotel.

The setting for the resort is stunning and offers one of the very few that is completely private (no one walking past your balcony), the setting around the pool, bar and restaurant were just breathtaking.

Now the biggest positive, the staff at the resort. They are all simply amazing, professional, charming and always on hand to help. The manager made sure she spoke to every guest daily and ensure everything was as they wished.

The resort has limited subbed, but if none are available, just speak to the bar staff who will try to accommodate you.

We are unable to give this resort 5 stars for the following reasons but they could easily be fixed.

This resort comes at a premium due to its location and overall standard of lodgings, however falls short on a number of areas;

The breakfast is extensive, healthy and well presented. However, the fact it’s all pre cooked, despite having a fully functional kitchen and chef, isn’t acceptable. Hot breakfast should be cooked to order rather than sitting around as a buffet. Pancakes were cold and hard, eggs cold and lacks the ability to have your bread toasted. The hot food is not placed on hot plates, but rather in pans that eventually cool the food down. The lack of choice around asking for an omelette if you wish is a real shame.

What I think is totally unacceptable, is they only offer filtered coffee in the price. If you wish to have a latte or something else, it comes at a cost. When you are paying over €800 per night, they need to offer more.

We stayed in one of the original rooms and they need some upgrades badly. These include, better mood lighting, larger TV, more English speaking channels ( not that you watch much TV), a more powerful aircom unit ( we had use of one of their newer rooms during our last day) and offered such a unit, and upgrade of some of the bathroom features. We felt the bedding was on the heavy side, so a lighter togged duvet might be a good idea.

Note: they do offer two large bottles of water daily, which is great and if you run out, just ask for more.

We would consider going back but would hope some improvements are made during low season.

I am really struggling with this review because I would have to say it is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at and I enjoyed it every way possible except for the fact that I have never slept on a worse bed even in hostels, even in a bed made of salt in Bolivia. If you like a hard mattress you will have absolutely no issues but any side sleepers who like a softer mattress will have a really hard time getting any quality sleep here. Otherwise the setting is honestly spectacular and the owners have taken so much care into putting together a beautiful hotel, I don’t think there is a prettier one on the islandThe pool is the most amazing I have ever seen and is so fun to dive into - although it did turn my blonde hair very green. The service is really kind and good and the food was pretty good as well - although was annoying to be charged 5 euro for a cappuccino. The location of Imerovigli is wonderful - much quieter than Oia or Fira and at the highest point of the island offering the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises.

Incredible Stay from start to finish.

Everything about this place screams luxury. Santorini is blessed with some incredible hotels. However on walking around, my wife and I could not find one which could beat this place which made us very smug the whole 4 days we stayed there. Rooms are incredibly well put together and the private heated pool just made us feel like rockstars.

The staff were incredibly helpful and massive thank you to the reception team for the great restaurant recommendation.

Only pick up my wife and I could find was to add a few more non alcoholic options on the menu. There was only 3 and one of them was a virgin Bloody Mary. Which is just tomato juice and the price was a little steep for that.

Genuinely, apart from that incredibly small detail. This was by far the best European hotel we have ever stayed in and would recommend anyone planning to go to Santorini to stay at this hotel. Seeing new people arrive each day and the look on their faces as they are shown around. I know we’re are not the only ones.

Incredible!

Room tip: make sure you try and book a room in the Petra wing. The traditional is a little far from the pool and a fair few stairs.

After a lot of research, I found Honeymoon Petra Villas for our trip and after reading the reviews, I booked it as it seemed to provide a good mixture of what we were looking for for our trip, good location close enough to the hustle and bustle but still relaxing, a nice pool and with beautiful views!

I’m happy to say that it more than lived up to expectations and I didn’t see any hotel along the way that I’d rather have been in! The best thing about honeymoon Petra villa was the service, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. We arrived late at night and a friendly man met us from the taxi and carried our luggage all the way down to the hotel. If you aren’t great with steps, santorini probably isn’t the place for you, but it didn’t phase us. Everyone was welcoming, attentive and always very helpful!

The hotel was in a good location about 30-40
min walk from Fira which is the main place for bars and restaurants, we walked there and back most nights as found taxis quite expensive.

We booked a superior Petra room which had an amazing view, was spacious, with a comfy bed, next doors terrace was right by ours, but again didn’t bother us. The only small thing was we only had a small wardrobe and no drawers which meant we had to live out of case which wasn’t ideal.

If you are looking for a lovely hotel, with great views, great staff/services and a lovely location, you won’t be disappointed here.

My daughter (15) and I recently stayed at Honeymoon Petra Villas and had a wonderful experience. The hotel and property were top-notch; our room was spacious (the bathroom was small but we didn't go to Santorini for the hotel bathroom!) and tastefully decorated/furnished, all areas of the hotel were exceptionally clean and well cared for, the pool and surrounding area was amazing, the breakfast daily was ample and diverse, the one dinner that we had at the hotel was my best out of all dinners while in Greece. The location is perfect; outside of the hustle of Fira but close enough to walk to Fira to enjoy a night there (I would recommend doing that during the evening, not in the peak of day). Imerovigli is a friendly small location and the hotel has beautiful , unobstructed views of the caldera, Skaros rock and the famous Santorini sunset. Perhaps the most notable part of the hotel are the staff; they are friendly, helpful and gracious. Special shout-out to Angie, Dimitra and Dimitris who were exceptional.

We also did a semi-private catamaran cruise through the affiliated sailing centre (Renieris) and enjoyed it immensely.

Exceeded expectations in every way: service, ambience, views, food, staff and accommodations. Booked a small more affordable Traditional Studio at a great price way in advance but when we got there, the room was pleasant with a great view but smallish balcony. An upgrade to a suite on the Petra side was available and after looking at it, took it! OMG, living in luxury with our own hot tub on the balcony, drinking wine with a view and a superb suite. The reception staff all get 5 stars and particularly Konstantina who buzzes around ensuring all clients are happy. She gets mentioned many times in reviews so this may go to her head 😊 but well deserved. Warning, given the villas positioned on a cliff, there are many stairs to scale so you must be fit. We burned off all the various forms of Feta by walking up and down and around a lot. Walked all the way to Fira and the other way on a hike to Skaros castle. Many restaurants are very close by, but if you walk a little further you can find some more affordable options if budget is a concern. For us it was a once in a lifetime experience on a milestone anniversary we will not forget! Thank you!

Honeymoon Petra Villas is an amazing place to stay. The location is perfect as it is a quick taxi ride from both Oia and Fiera which were far more overcrowded as they are ports for cruise boat stops. We had a car rental and parking to the villa was very close and free. The villas staff’s hospitality is top notch and I have honestly never experienced a more friendly staff of people. Kostas and Demetra and the front desk staff specifically were just all around 5 star people. The room was spotless and AC was just right on these very warm days. The pool was amazing and you have a perfect view of sunset every evening. Breakfast was buffet, had a large variety of choices and was delicious. I would not hesitate in making the choice to stay at this villa.

Amazing property with one of the most epic caldera views including of Skaros rock in all its majesty. I had the chance to stay in 2 different of their beautiful suites and they were both amazing, perfectly clean, large and very bright. Can’t choose one but you can see photos and videos here to check the differences.

Despite being in Imerovigli, the privacy of the rooms with caldera view is amazing, you don’t feel like someone walking into your place at all.

The breakfast buffet is great, it offers lots of Greek dishes and premium ingredients.

Apostolos and Kostantina from the reception helped me to make the most out of my gf birthday with their care and kindness. I had a great services at 360° during my whole stay. From the bellboys, the cleaning lady and the waiters, everything was just mazing!

Can’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back again next year!

Dear Mrs. Bureau, Greetings and thank you for your inquiry. The amount of privacy depends on the room you will choose to book. All of rooms offers privacy, some more than others, as they are all built on the cliff of the Caldera which is a challenging environment! Please inform us through email on the dates you wish to visit us so that we may check our availability and get back to you with more information. Best Regards.
