This hotel had opened only 5 weeks when we arrived. Everything is brand new. The staff are very accommodating. Our room had a private swimming pool (small) so slightly over exaggerated but it was larger than most of the plunge pools and our room had more privacy. Very modern and nothing in the room was missing in terms of amenities. Maybe more water and more toiletries daily would help but you only had to ask.
I personally found the room a little too bright for sleeping but this was quickly resolved.
The main pool area is lovely yet small however that was ok for us. It was however missing some atmosphere, so some music would be recommended as the music playing wasn’t noticed.
They have some great pool beds/loungers but they lack the recline option to sit upright if you want to read. The same goes for those in the rooms.
The gym is good but with the big TV screens they could run on demand virtual classes like for running or kettlebells.
Breakfast was included and had nice fresh fruit, juices and hot options. We ate out on the evenings.
The hotel is fabulous for privacy and avoiding the constant photo taking of the sunsets and fabulous views as it is located slightly down the hill from Imerovigli but literally a few minutes walk up hill. Yep uphill but everywhere in Santorini is uphill so flats are a must even when you are dressed up on a night out.
The hotel view is facing East of the island and less than 10 mins from the airport, so a private transfer price of 60 euros is too steep, we paid 30 returning but even that is too much.
Recommendations are to hire a ATV for around 45 euros per day and explore the island. Oia is beautiful and has the most shops.
Overall I’d rather be staying at this hotel in terms of privacy, location and comfort.
Staff all very helpful and I am sure as the hotel matures so too will it develop with more ideas to make your stay even better.

I didn’t realise when I booked that the hotel had only been open a few weeks but you would never have known as everything had been thought of and it is being run so well. It looked exactly as advertised and felt very luxurious. From the moment we checked in the hotel staff went above and beyond and were so friendly and helpful. I can’t say how great they are, nothing was too much trouble and they really make an effort to welcome you and circulate amongst the guests. The General Manager is leading by example and we loved his enthusiasm and love of what he is doing.
The rooms are gorgeous, we stayed in a deluxe suite which had its own private deck with seating, fabulous loungers and our own infinity hot tub that overlooked the amazing view. The room amenities and the bathrooms were as luxurious as the rest of the hotel and even the hairdryer was better than my own travel one, which is a first for me.
The hotel faces the East, so it doesn’t have the famous Santorini sunset views, but it still has stunning sea views and we preferred the location as it was very private, away from the crowds but still only a short walk from the Caldera views. You need to wear flat shoes as pretty much everywhere is uphill in Santorini!
The breakfast had so much variety, there is definitely something for everyone. There’s also a good room service menu. I think it’s lacking an evening dining option though, which would potentially create a better atmosphere as it was very quiet. There is an area for dining but it’s impersonal and the menu wasn’t great. I think if they were to look at offering it as a better option, more guests would be inclined to dine in more.
The hotel exceeded our expectations, definitely a 5* experience. Efcharistó!

We were SO HAPPY we decided to stay at Cresanto for a week.
The hotel is beautiful. We stayed in a junior suite and it was spacious and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The patio area with private plunge pool was an added bonus. In the rooms, they provide luxury Nuxe Toiletries and free bottled water.
The main pool area is also beautiful, we ate lunch at the pool bar a couple of times which was delicious. We also ate dinner a couple of times as well, which was some of the best food we had in Santorini (and reasonably priced compared to the restaurants in town). The breakfast selection was excellent, and I looked forward to it every day!
The staff were fantastic (special shout out to Costa), and the lovely lady at reception organised a return taxi to Oia for us (20min drive, €40 each way). They even had staff from the spa offering free mini massages at the pool.
It is a short 5min walk to the main area of Imerovigli which in my opinion was much nicer than Fira or Oia and an amazing sunset watching spot. Fira was about a 20min walk away.
Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here.

On our last day at cresanto and gutted to be leaving. Had a weeks stay on our honeymoon and we are leaving with nothing but great things to say about the hotel. Situated just down the road from Imorevigli this great hotel is located in a nice peaceful location that is only a 25 minute downhill walk to Fira.
The hotel grounds, rooms, pool, bar and dining facilities are all impeccable and finished to a high spec offering that extra special experience. The staff are friendly and cannot help you enough on arrival and throughout your stay.
The breakfast is fantastic offering various options depending on what tickles your fancy. Veteran 5 star travellers may have different opinions but we had a great stay at cresanto.
Things to note, the hotel does not provide shuttle services to and from the airport and neighbouring towns which could be an added bonus as taxis are expensive and sometimes difficult to get hold of.

We stayed at the hotel last year and couldn’t wait to return. It really is the most special place. Very peaceful far away from the tourist traps but 5 mins walk from Imerovigli. It is beautifully designed and each room either has an outdoor pool or tub. Go for the rooms on the upper floor.
The staff are wonderful. Special mention to Costa who made the best cocktails we have ever had on the island and we’ve had a few! He is charming and attentive and will make bespoke drinks once he has discussed what flavours you like - he wasn’t here last year and is a great addition to the fantastic staff. Special mention also to Aspa and the manager George. The food is very good quality and well presented.
It’s a magical place ❤️

Here goes:
Room: we booked a presidential suite and it met expectations. Very spacious, modern, nice seating area, huge bed, nice terrace and pool although the pool was a little hot for us (it’s heated).
Food: we ate in the hotel on the first evening, it was what you would expect from. 5 star hotel. Both had steaks (sorry to the veggies reading this), it was very nice and the ambience sitting next to the pool was great.
Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and was again taken next to the pool.
Room service and food at the pool both good and very efficient.
Staff: superb. The team here go the extra mile and it is a high point for the hotel. Cleaners, pool attendants, concierge (gave us lots of help - thank you), reception team, management, spa team etc, all deserve a mention.
Location: a 5 minute up hill walk to the town centre, meaning it is far enough away from the busy area but close enough to visit each evening for the sunset and dinner.
Spa: excellent. Both got a massage and were very happy.
In summary: we would visit again and recommend. Very happy with our choice 😀👍

The property is beautifully laid out. It was a very relaxing place to stay. Our room was large and comfortable with modern furniture. We had our own hot tub with jets outside with a view and a short walk to the main pool and facilities. The towels were large and plush. The bedding was comfortable. The toiletries include luxury brand Nuxe. Just bring toothbrush/toothpaste, everything else you need is in the room. All the food and drinks we had at the hotel, lunch and breakfast, were good. Portion size at lunch was generous. Service at the front desk and the concierge were very helpful.
While the hotel is centrally located, it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere; we were able to walk to Roza's and access the trail to Oia, both were 15-20 minutes from the hotel. We heard there's a walking path to Thira/Fira, but we didn't see it and turned back because of the traffic.
Note: There were steps to enter the room and steps in the room.

What a great find, a great place to relax, fabulous staff and service throughout our stay, nothing was too much trouble, very helpful.
We stayed in a presidential suite which was very comfortable, large bathroom/ dressing area, lovely big comfortable bed, our own heated pool. Breakfast were beautiful with plenty of choice, the yoghurt and honey were wonderful. We did eat in the restaurant in the evening on the first night as we arrived in the evening, the food was very good but it was very quiet, only 2 other diners at that time.
Our room had sliding door panels to section off the different areas which you definitely needed at night, the toilets and shower areas had automatic lighting when you entered which is great at most times of the day but in the middle of the night, not so good as full on bright lights wakes you up, and your other half, maybe some separate night lighting would be more suitable.
I would definitely recommend Cresanto.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. We were nervous booking it as it is a brand new hotel so not many reviews. It looked exactly as advertised and felt very luxurious. Staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and our private plunge pool was nicely heated so you could even swim in it at night. The king superior suite has two bathrooms and a gorgeous sink area.
The hotel faces the East, so it doesn’t have the famous Santorini sunset views, but it still has stunning east sea views right from your room! The breakfast has so much variety, there is definitely something for everyone. The hotel exceeded our expectations, definitely a 5* experience.

Every aspect of the service at Cresanto is spot on from pre-arrival thanks to the attention to detail from the highly competent and hardworking, Aspa in customer relations. Their suites offer privacy and the comfort of individual spa pool options. The combination of suites with spas and standard rooms makes the immense infinity pool generally lightly occupied giving the property a feeling of seclusion on an island often synonymous with crowded narrow streets and hoards of people. The poolside bar and restaurant offer excellent food and service especially through the talented and very cool mixologist, Costa. Blessed with an ability to generate an immediate rapport and match the exact drink/food to your mood or needs. Easy access to the awesome sunset views of the Caldera and an even better easterly sunset/ sunrise aspect from the property offer a nightly light show of soft transitional light hues in a private setting that most fail to ever see or appreciate in Santorini. A great property offering calm respite from the craziness of main tourist hotspots.

Dear Mr Leonard, We would like to thank you for your wonderful review about our hotel and staff. It was a great pleasure for all of us to welcome both you and your wife here in the past few days! We really appreciate your words and hope that we managed to create beautiful memories for you during your vacation in Santorini, experiencing Greek hospitality first hand. Please note that your comments for our customer care and F&B knowledges, motivate us to continue the efforts in our work and raise the bar even higher in our services. It's great to see that you captured every detail in our hotel, understanding the concept and vibes we want to pass on to our guests. In addition, it is important, and we are glad you noticed, that Santorini is a unique place, so thousands of people try to move and capture the perfect sunset, sometimes making the atmosphere stuffy and uncomfortable for the rest. Our hotel and its people are here to help and serve you, offering luxury and tranquility, but within walking distance of the island's hot spots, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the crowd. On behalf of all of us, thank you very much once again for your feedback and we would love to see you back to Cresanto in the near future. Σας ευχαριστούμε! Hi I was on the deluxe suite (302 and you can be seen in your pool by next door. We slso had the presidential suite (209) and it was much more private.
Not, we had the king size bed with private hot tub . I think you are talking about the one that has a private pool. We love our room and the hot tub has a big size and the terrace too.
