The Divine Cave Experience in Santorini, is a whimsical Adults Only cave hotel in the picturesque town of Imerovigli, sculpted into the rocks of Santorini’s magical caldera. A cocooning sanctuary made up of underground caves that were specially structured and designed to create a haven of serenity and calm with awe-inspiring views to caldera and the gorgeous village of Oia. The amazing views are complimented by the unique sense of privacy, the unparalleled luxury and sophistication coming together to orchestrate the most Divine Cave Experience. An experience clouded by a veil of mystery when facing the hotel gate. Ready to step through the gate? As you follow downwards the stone-built staircase a secret world of luxury begins to unveil. The imposing corridor illuminated with natural light makes you feel as if entering the cave through a burrow that was carved on the rocks to capture the very essence of luxury. Welcome to the Divine Cave Experience where indulgence is absolute!

We came to Divine Cave Experience for our honeymoon and it was a highlight of our trip. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and a very friendly staff who showed us our room and around the property. When we came into our room we were greeted with wine, cake, flower petals and balloons which was so romantic. The hotel has 10 rooms which creates a very intimate feel. Each room has a private outdoor sitting area and jacuzzi which was so spectacular with a view of the beautiful caldera and sunsets. The room and area was very quiet and we felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. The breakfast was probably the best breakfast we had on our entire trip - you get to customize your menu each morning which you can enjoy in room or on your own private balcony overlooking the caldera. The omelette was divine!!! When we had to catch an early ferry, they made sure to pack us a cold breakfast to-go which was so appreciated!!!! They also have a pool and a restaurant/bar. To be honest, we ate here two nights for dinner because it had amazing views, was not busy with tourist and most importantly the food was some of the best we had in Greece! There is the old path from Fira to Oia right outside the hotel so we hopped on the path and walked to Oia to see the sunset one day (note it is about a 2 hour walk). It is also about 1/2 hour walk to Fira from the hotel. There are many people that are on the path during the day that walk by your suite but they have privacy curtains as well if you prefer a more private experience. The hotel also arranged a dune buggy to get around town one day which was so easy - the transport company brought the buggy right to the hotel.
We spoke after leaving Santorini that this hotel elevated our experience of the island because we enjoyed so many beautiful sunsets in the privacy of our rooftop cabana or pool. We actually spent so much time here because it felt like its own oasis. When I come back to Santorini, I will definitely stay here again!!! Thank you for your hospitality!

The day after our wedding in Santorini, we check in at this unique, magical hotel.
Already at the entrance we are greeted by friendly staff with a professional impression. Rooms were classy with a luxurious decor and each room had its own private outdorr jacuzzi that we could enjoy the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine. The day after was not worse it wakes up to a delicious breakfast with several different alternatives such as omelette, smoothies crossanter and much more.
Would recommend this hotel if you want luxury to it and experience something new.

The hotel is an inconvenience location, not walkable to anything, you have to take a taxi 15 minutes in either direction of the hotel to get to anywhere, the food at the restaurant is not great, I would not recommend eating there unless it's for convenience. The view you get at the top of the hill is beautiful, but you don't get the quintessential view of Santorini with the white terraces everywhere. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful! And the massages we got there were amazing, I would highly recommend getting a couples massage there with your partner.

We stayed at the Divine Cave Experience for 17 days, thus making us the longest staying guests so far! As a couple who value a quiet, comfortable, friendly, and quality experience we can honestly say that all this was not only met, but exceeded. The hotel is new, clean and designed in such a fabulous way (10 cave suites all facing the caldera; with warm plunge pools.) The breakfast is plentiful and delicious; everything fresh and a variety to choose from. And keeping all this running smoothly, an excellent staff team: Nena (manager), Polyvia and Melisa (front desk), Maria (breakfast with a smile!), Andrew (night shift), and for everyone else whose names I don't know, who cleaned, served, organised and maintained the hotel and the experience. What a treat we gave ourselves to choose here, and we are so happy we did - Thank you!

To be honest I’m a little bit disappointed cause the accommodation is not worth the money we spent..at all.

First of all for the view that is totally different from what we understood from the website and in front of us the pathway cuts completely the way. And above all we have no privacy at all!
Which is the sense of doing such a wonderful room with private jacuzzi if nobody could appreciate it ? Tents everywhere and not view!

Then we are in love with this kind of design: it is so relaxing but not comfortable at all!
The shower with no near space for hanging the bathrobe, the door of the shower too big and the opening to the outside that forces you to put with difficulty the mat, the design sink but with no shelves at right high to put all the things needed in a bathroom, no wardrobe to put the clothes or the shoes inside… ok the minimal design but it is to the total detriment of comfort.

In the toilet there is a musty smell with leaks on the ceiling and the presence of strange animals... even the cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Wellness center for a fee despite the considerable cost of the structure. Despite we reported all this complaints at the reception, nothing was done to remedy our disappointment.

A special mention instead for the extremely kind and professional dining room staff, as well as the excellent quality of the food.

To summarize 600€ per night is really too much for this place.

The place did not dissapoint. They upgraded our room complimentary and gave us an hour in their spa room on the house. They also had a cake and ballons in our room for us newly weds. The room was very cool looking and so was our patio with private spa. The view was not bad either. The personal rooftop deck you get has some pretty awesome views as well - one of the better areas on the island. They don't allow kids so this can be good or bad depending where you stand. There aren't a lot of rooms so that's a plus for not having areas too busy. It was an amazing experience and you should definitely not hesitate to try it. Wait until you order the breakfast! The salmon bagel and smoothies- WOOOOOW! But you have to do the spa as well as it was just amazing and sooo relaxing.

I want to say how amazed and great this place is. You truly get that cave living experience and trust me you will love every bit of the experience here. The breakfast food was so fresh and great. The staff here is amazing and truly takes care of you in such a kind way.
I want to reach out about my amazing friend I made here, her name is Eutuxia and she was truly a great person who served drinks for my husband and I and made our stay such an amazing time. She is full of life and great vibes and does her best at making sure you are having a great time.
Another person I would like to say is wonderful and you will meet him at your breakfast is Petroz he is so kind with his service and speaking to you and giving recommendations about Santorini. My husband and I came for the first time to Santorini and highly recommend this hotel cave experience if you are looking for something unique and different to do as an experience.

I loved the design of this hotel! It really has a divine effect! The location is great, only 15 minutes walk from the village of Imerovigli! Staff was great! They provide you with towels for the outdoor jacuzzi/pool and a beautiful beach bag. Forgot to mention that this hotel is brand new.. Value for money I would say!

We had a wonderful experience at one of the best cave experience hotels on the island. The number of rooms were limited and we were fortunate enough to stay at one. Our stay was comfortable and was more than we could ask for. Breakfast every day was exceptional and underated; probably one of the best breakfasts we had in Greece.

We visited Ylia at Divine Cave Experience for dinner and then, a few days later, lunch.
We were really impressed with the pool/bar/restaurant areas - the views whilst having a meal there are superb. Our meals were delicious and we'd particularly recommend the Greek feta spread and bread!
What really needs to be commended are the staff throughout the hotel - they were fantastic and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and cared for - particularly Nena and a lovely waitress from Athens (sadly I've totally forgotten her name!).
We will certainly return and recommend a visit to anyone after luxury and a view without the crowds.
