The room: looks like the ones in the picture, well equipped with an AC, a fridge (great for cooling water and fruits), a flat screen TV, a desk with a mirror, two comfy beds and a small balcony. The bathroom is rather small, but big enough for a week. The room is cleaned daily and it all felt very comfortable to me. Also: The breakfast room and pool area are really nice and enjoyable.
Breakfast: Very delicious; includes: coffee/tea, bread, jam, honey, greek yoghurt, a boiled egg, orange juice and water. It is not included in the price (5€/ off season), BUT this information is given on every website and when checking in!
Location: in walking distance to the beach (7 to 10 minutes, depending on your speed), in walking distance to a mini-supermarket, to lots of restaurants and bars next to the beach and to the bus stop to FĂra (2 minutes). From FĂra you can take buses to OĂa, to AkrotĂri, to KamarĂ, the ferry port AthĂnos (20 minutes) and the airport (10 minutes).
At the end she asked me to pay her a full day for the extra 7 hours we stayed. On the wall there was a sign saying you get charged extra 50% for the amount of hours we stayed extra not full day. But she insisted so I just paid her. Definitely not going back but if you are desperate for an overnight sleep it’s ok.

We were travelling independently and arrived off the ferry without pre-booked accommodation. We took the risk and we paid for it unfortunately.
The accommodation office we ended up in, was staffed by a woman who was selling her own hotel rooms. She had a glossy brochure showing lovely rooms and when we asked her how far it was from the beach, she said 5 mins (yeh, right, if you can fly!). We were duped into paying for a room initially for 3 nights but we told her we may want 7 nights and along with about 9 other people we were driven up the switchback road over to "Perissa" - it wasn't Perissa as we found out soon enough.
We were given the room shown on one of the other reviews overlooking the pool and as soon as we saw all the rules and regulations (don't do this, don't do that or you will be charged etc etc.....) and realised that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by barking dogs, half finished buildings, we knew we had been brought to a inferior hotel.
As soon as we checked in, the owner/driver/general dogsbody ran into the bar, put some music on and started to serve beer (the only good thing about the place and quite cheap considering). Later on she disappeared in her van, no doubt to catch the next lot of suckers at the port.
We ventured out to find somewhere to eat and had to walk some distance down a poorly lit main road for at least 30 mins. After one sleepless night feeling like right idiots, we got up the next day, paid and made a sharp exit by hiring a car and going to Kamari which is a much nicer resort and we found a brilliant hotel there for the same price.
This woman no doubt makes an adequate living by reeling in tourists off ferries for one night stays, without putting in much effort at all. I can't imagine anyone wanting to stay at her hotel for any longer! So DON'T go there, you have been warned!

So, if you can get past the other "guests", you can look forward to a wire mattress, which squeaks like you wouldn't believe. (My wife stopped me from cheering on the couple in the next room, if you know what I mean).
Then, if you want to go to the beach, you have an 800 meter walk in the wonderful, cloudless Santorini sun. This is about at 15 minute walk. Which would be fine, except there is no shade and there are no side walks. Go early.
Finally, the staff were somewhat surly, so good luck!
