The property is lovely, with a beautiful view of the water from every room. The staff is very cordial and helpful. The wi-fi was spotty/problematic at times but I guess that is to be expected with all of the foliage surrounding the property. The food is very good and there are many options. The only real negative was the number of critters in my room but perhaps that is due to us being on the ground floor. Also, upon checkout I discovered several drinks had been falsely/mistakenly charged to my room.

From the beautiful pools to the amazing beach house and the delicious food, everything was perfect: the room was huge and immaculately clean, the shower had a breathtaking view on the bay. The hotel offers a wide range of activity options to discover the peninsula’s fauna and surroundings or to simply relax and enjoy delicious cocktails on the beach! But we have to say, the best part of our stay was the staff! Everyone was so nice and helpful. We felt so pampered! And if you have the chance to meet with our new hermano Randall, please enjoy the moment, that guy is the best!! In 1 word, this hotel is paradise! We can’t wait to go back there!

I was thrilled with the Andaz, super friendly team. The facility is relatively modern, the design of the furniture is well done and makes a very good impression. The room is checked several times a day by the housekeepers and everything is kept clean. Another advantage of the hotel is the variety of animals that can be observed from the room terrace. Even though the complex is very large and you have to search a bit for the rooms, the super friendly golf car drivers are also ready to help. I was particularly impressed by the golf card driver Maurice, who was always in a good mood and ready to help.

Staff, resort, activities, service was all 5 stars! There are a lot of stairs and the food was 4.5 stars but 10000 recommend. The rooms were clean and the beautiful and the staff went above and beyond with everything.

I traveled to Costa Rica with my 8 year-old son last month (April) for Spring Break! We split our time between the Andaz Costa Rica and the Nayara Tented Camp in Arenal and it was the PERFECT Spring Break! I travel A TON for both work and for personal travel and the level of service we received was out of this world. We got to know a lot of the staff well and are just thankful for them! Our stay was so wonderful we cant wait to plan our next trip! As a Hyatt member with high status we were upgraded to a gorgeous Suite with a beautiful view. The suite was amazing with 1.5 bathrooms and it was perfect with floor to ceiling windows, large bathroom with a ton of natural light, and a very comfortable bed. The resort is built into a hill so if you dont want to get tons of steps, they have golf carts that can be called at any time ... for a busy resort which was sold out - we never had a hard time getting pool chairs that overlook the water - people dont come down at 6am and save them which I LOVED. You take a quick boat shuttle to the beach where sometimes of year you need swim shoes - dont forget them like us - we bought them from the gift shop. Great restaurant at the beach and all the restaurants were fantastic that we ate at on property. Breakfast was FANTASTIC! Evelio in the restaurant was incredible. He was so helpful. Froylan the Executive Chef came and checked on us himself to make sure we loved what we were eating. The food was fresh, fruit felt like it was just picked, homemade breads and hot food was incredible. Henrique was incredible with his service making sure we had activities planned and we were so happy. He really could be a general manager - such amazing service to make sure we were happy the entire time. Mayur made sure we always had a good table as well and was so accommodating to my son. All the golf cart drivers were so friendly and greeted us with Pura Vida when we saw them. A special thank you to Sergio and Sergio for making sure our stay was perfect. The hotel is so well run by Patrick and the entire team! We just loved our stay and can't wait to come back. We really felt like we were greeted like family by the staff - we are ready to come back again!…

Pura Vida…. One of the best people and hospitality we have ever encountered. Room was so beautiful, food was great, location was super. Can’t wait to go back and stay. Everyone was so happy there, no one was ever rude. Trip with the kids was great and we all highly recommend this hotel.

This was by far the most relaxing stay we’ve had in any resort. The team here are very accommodating. You can really feel that they enjoy what they are doing. My husband and I love the food here as well. We visited the other hotel in the Peninsula during our stay, but ended up coming back to Andaz. We love how the resort embraced nature with its wildlife and trees all over the resort. We loved our stay, and we have been talking about coming back with family next year! 😊
