It's a beautiful concept of home stay resort with all amenities and facilities in house . vegetarian buffet spread is good and food quality is excellent ...I love the over all look of the architecture of wada ..Lot to do inhouse we enjoyed taking pictures in traditional costumes , playing olden games like bhavra ,aba dubi , Lohri etc. Spend a quality time with family .. the place is so good that it will feel u relaxing .. we will recommend to visit this place and also we will visit again soon
Nice off-the-beaten-path experience..booking is direct with the number listed on their website..we booked 2 rooms for one night and all meals are included in the rate..we drove down from Mumbai (save the place on ur google map coz en route connectivity will be a problem) and it took us ..hours (started post lunch and reached there in the evening) drive is comfortable except the last stretch which gets spooky..parking is open and along the road, next to their entrance gate. Smooth check-in and check-out..food is simple, traditional and pure veg..rooms are spacious and clean…..décor and ambience gives you the feel of an era-gone-by… washrooms could do with some improvement…the staff is courteous and service is prompt..there are props for games (indoor and outdoor) as well as books to enjoy..the spacious courtyard has lot of trees and greenery and is good for star gazing..overall, it’s a place to relax amidst nature away from the city..they have a grand hall upstairs which is mostly for viewing/ holding celebrations.. the bathroom of one of our rooms had a foul smell and though they did spray the freshner after we complained, nothing much could be done about it..the bed is quite high off the ground, so be careful in case of kids (my parents’ room had a step stool for climbing on to the bed)..hot water in the bathroom is an issue and you have to inform the attendants in advance..be mindful of mosquitoes/ other inspects when u open the windows (though the windows are covered with net)..carry your own water (we did)..toiletries- only soap and bath towel..better to take ur own..…
