We recently cycled from Lisbon to the Algarve and the company we cycled with (Cycling Rentals - century cycles) put us up in this lovely hotel in this little town. Our room was on the road side but had a great view of the fort and was very quiet at night. Very comfy bed. Wonderfully friendly reception staff, nice little pool. We walked to the fort which is not far and has great views. Very close to bars and restaurants. Great little find!

Excellent value for money. Clean room. Good bathroom. Nice view of the monastery on the hill. Kind lady at reception goes the extra mile to help out. Great night sleep and easy off road parking plus you can walk into town. Do stay here if you can.

Very friendly employees. Spa very clean and relaxing. We really enjoyed the massage service. The hotel also has a small gym and parking facility. good value for money, especially compared to the prices in the surrounding area.

This is a fine option to stay for a couple of days and visit the surroundings. Clean, organized and functional you can expect to have a pleasant stay. Breakfast is ok but could be better either in variety or quality of products.

The location was good and the view was nice but after walking a section of the Fisherman’s Trail all day, I just wanted to sit in the sauna for ten to twenty minutes. I was told that it would be 10 Euros. That’s an unnecessary charge for guests. I could have turned it on myself and left no trace behind.

We stayed for two nights. Rooms are very small and dated but clean. Breakfast was ok. Good WiFi which was useful for work and we used the lounge which was comfortable. Probably ok for an overnight stay but no reason to return.

Functional but largely unmemorable. Rooms ok - but on the small side. Pool area welcome on a hot day. Staff friendly. Try the restaurant by the BP garage next door - unexpectedly good - food was outstanding.

This hotel was pre-booked for us as part of our cycling holiday. It turned out to be a lovely suite. We had a separate living room as well as a large bedroom and bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in room along with robes and slippers. Beach towels supplied for pool also. Staff helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend. Great stay - thank you!

Some days before the weekend we decided to spend a weekend in Alentejo, to go to the beach Sao Torpes. THe only available place was this, and luckly it was. A 3 star hotel in a small alentejano town. We were well received,. THe room was very nice. THey have a swimingpool. THe staff was very nice and received us well. When we went to sleep, the only complain was the other guests, they were to noise as they were in a hostel. In the morning we went to breakfast. It was very complete (for a 3 star hotel). Only didn't had the eggs and bacon, but excellent local bread and pastery. THe only critique , the room was small for all the people (i think they weren't prepared for all those people, but even so they were able to serve well. A place to return (and in a time of the year were the temperature is not 47º degress ;) with this temperature we didn't want to leave the room (with AC) or the swimminpool
