I can't believe that the hotel sees itself as a 4-5 star hotel when in fact it's only as good as the pedestrian swimming pool resorts you can stay in Bgy. Pansol, Calamba, Laguna. Even then, you can get more value for money if you stay in the resorts in Pansol instead. Perhaps if Bravo let the Mercure Hotel Group run this place then this could be the jewel of Dumaguete as this place regards itself to be. Well, keep it in the family, I guess.
The exclusivity was nice, and views are great. But, staff were very unhelpful. as if they were all new. couldn’t even get my requests right. Tried to get assistance from the manager, she’s even more clueless and sadly rude as well!
We actually just came for the day. As with most places in The Philippines, the staff are very nice, friendly and welcoming. But very poorly trained. They are in dire need of a professional resort management company. The food was good. The resort doesn't offer much to do. Its showing signs of neglect. The kids playground was closed for repair, but looked like it has been closed for years. The short golf course was OK. Just tees and greens. At 2,000 pesos per round, it is ridiculously overpriced. Which was why I was the only player there, on a Sunday morning! The place was empty of guests. I don't see the draw to this place. It wasn't bad, but very poor value for the prices charged. We won't be back.
The staff don't seem to have any idea what they're doing at any given time. The golf course is ill-maintained and the whole area just smells like a sewer. The food was bad, the Bravo pizza was so soggy it was disgusting. The pool was so dirty I told my kids not to go swimming in it. Overpriced rooms but this is not even a 4-star hotel, should have let the pros run this place instead.
The view from the restaurant is beautiful, the area is clean, the swimming pools are just steps away. The staff are friendly and kind with one even showing us around the pool area answering our questions about the resort. Those are the good parts. The food, on the other hand, is not good. The Bravo special pizza was soggy, the pasta was not ‘al dente.’ The hotel also offers day tours. P600 for adults & P400 for kids with one meal and drink included.
