DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!!!!! Very quaint. But after long days of travel, all I wanted was a hot shower. This place has a quaint appearance with its outdated charm, but beware! For the price you should get so much better. 4000PhP per night ($80 US equivalent) I expected hot water with pressure- instead I got warm water at a drip. The bed sheets were not clean, so waking up itching head to toe, I received no relief trying desperately to get water. This place doesn’t compare to 500PhP accommodations in the Provence. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!
This place felt like home, friendly owners and staff. Vey accommodating and goes out of their way to do anything for their guests. Our room had a little garden in the balcony which was so cute and just lovely. Rooms are comfy and clean. Beautifully decorated with little details and paintings everywhere, just a happy place to be in. Food is AMAZING and so is their new coffee shop, really good coffee!!!! so conveniently located near the airport, main restos, and easy to grab a pedi cab right outside their hotel. They have a pool, a function hall, and a basketball court. Oh and they have room service which is a big plus!! I would stay here again and again a hundred times over it is truly a home away from home.
First time to stay here bec this was highly recommended by a few friends of ours. This place did not disappoint especially for the price point. Amazing amenities. They have their own bistro and a quaint coffee shop too that serves very good espresso which was reallly a big plus for me. I highly recommend this bed n bfast place. It’s has a very happy vibe. Maybe bec of the artful colors of the place and owners are very warm and friendly
I always go to see this place whenever I’m in town because of Gabby’s bistro and that the place is very instagrammable. Recently stayed in room 23 for two nights. Here are some pro’s: Comfort - there is hot water, AC, room service and Wifi. Staff are okay, room is clean and guests are allowed to use the pool. What I didn’t like is that the lights are in yellow and may be a bit dark when you’re trying to put on make-up at night lol. Also there was a problem with Wifi on the second day but other than that, all good!
Had a nice colourful room with a balcony. Perfect for a stay in Dumaguete - and easy access to lots of food options from Gabby’s Bistro in the hotel. Really nice staff who were very accommodating, and a family owned business. Thank you for a very nice week, will def recommend to friends :)
We booked in this hotel to try it out. Steep stairs, no elevator for seniors. No water as promised, shower trickle at best, used soaps, VERY SMALL ROOM but beds ok, no ref., balcony but no chairs. Restaurant food was awful! Ordered Caesar Salad and lettuce wilted and warm as were the rest of the veggies. We had two meals there because it is not close to any other food sources. In morning, no cars for renters, only ours... WILL NEVER consider this place again....
Hotel Florentina was the perfect choice for our family of 8 for a weekend stay. With its own pool, the younger ones enjoyed swimming there. And our 2 rooms - one apartelle and one standard - afforded us a nice and comfortable stay. They were very clean and the staff quickly attended to our needs. It also was convenient to have a cafe/bistro right within the compound. Food offerings are delicious and come in generous portions. Secured parking is also a plus. It's one of the better places that we have stayed in Dumaguete.
Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. Resto downstairs is very affordable and nice mix of Filipino dishes and Italian-inspired. Very friendly staff. The oasis pool area is lovely and relaxing.
Me and my friends opted to stay in Florentina Homes in Dumaguete City because another friend recommended it. The place looks like a castle described in most fairy tale books. Their exterior and interior design looks really great or should I say very instagrammablel
We stayed at the Granada room and it's lovely! Beautiful interiors. They provided towels, soap and shampoo sachets. I suggest you bring/buy your own toothpaste and toothbrush. Great for long stays as the room we rented had a kitchen with basic kitchen ware such as plates, utensils, a small pot and kettle on the stove. There's a refrigerator that works and complimentary water (a large gallon for the dispenser) and coffee sachets. No microwave though. Really cold air-conditioning and cable TV. Parking area is nearby and accessible. The room had a living area, kitchen/dining area, outdoor sink and area for drying your wet gear as there's a pool, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Very spacious and had a great homey feel. There's also a restaurant which we didn't get to try though due to our trip agenda. Pool use is free so beware of people like their "lifeguards" telling you there's a fee for kids or whatever. Report it to the front desk! Pool isn't that large but big enough to swim around in for adults. They have a quick water slide. There's also an area for events near the pool. Would book again.…
