A very interesting and unique place to stay. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. It's definitely not a 5 star or a 4-star hotel. Yet it's a clean and very comfortable place to stay. Highly recommend it for those traveling on a budget. The best rooms are those with a balcony facing the courtyard. Now the bad news. The walls are paper-thin with the tv mounted on the wall separating each room. Unfortunately, you can hear every word of a conversation next door. I had multiple times where I had to bang on the next room to use their indoor voice or to turn down the blaring TV late in the evening. The pool can become complete chaos-packed with screaming unsupervised kids. We avoided the pool like the plague. The Bistro is quite good always enjoyed eating there.

First time to stay here bec this was highly recommended by a few friends of ours. This place did not disappoint especially for the price point. Amazing amenities. They have their own bistro and a quaint coffee shop too that serves very good espresso which was reallly a big plus for me. I highly recommend this bed n bfast place. It’s has a very happy vibe. Maybe bec of the artful colors of the place and owners are very warm and friendly

I always go to see this place whenever I’m in town because of Gabby’s bistro and that the place is very instagrammable. Recently stayed in room 23 for two nights. Here are some pro’s:
Comfort - there is hot water, AC, room service and Wifi. Staff are okay, room is clean and guests are allowed to use the pool. What I didn’t like is that the lights are in yellow and may be a bit dark when you’re trying to put on make-up at night lol. Also there was a problem with Wifi on the second day but other than that, all good!

This place felt like home, friendly owners and staff. Vey accommodating and goes out of their way to do anything for their guests. Our room had a little garden in the balcony which was so cute and just lovely. Rooms are comfy and clean. Beautifully decorated with little details and paintings everywhere, just a happy place to be in. Food is AMAZING and so is their new coffee shop, really good coffee!!!! so conveniently located near the airport, main restos, and easy to grab a pedi cab right outside their hotel. They have a pool, a function hall, and a basketball court. Oh and they have room service which is a big plus!! I would stay here again and again a hundred times over it is truly a home away from home.

Had a nice colourful room with a balcony. Perfect for a stay in Dumaguete - and easy access to lots of food options from Gabby’s Bistro in the hotel. Really nice staff who were very accommodating, and a family owned business. Thank you for a very nice week, will def recommend to friends :)

Having previously stayed in the apartelle units of this establishment for which I was totally impressed, I expected the Hotel to be a lot more. We rented two rooms. The rooms are clean but one of the rooms is mosquito infested! The most that the staff could do is give us a mosquito repellant which can be plugged in a socket. It did not help at all. We cannot transfer to another room since they are fully booked! It is such a disappointment!
Room amenities are minimal.

I did not want to leave my room during my stay in Dumaguete since the place is too nice to look at and very comfortable to sleep with. I hope they have more rooms to accommodate more guests. They can improve the restaurant - Gabby's Bistro

We stayed at the Mediterranean apartments Granada and Salamanca. Loved the space, the intricate design – made more authentic by the gentle afternoon breeze. Staff was very hospitable, gave us service with a smile despite sometimes numerous requests. It's a wonderful place to come home to after wandering around Dumaguete. I didn't get to swim at their pool but the kids certainly loved that it was just nearby. I would try the other hotels in town just for variety but when we travel as a family again, this is definitely where we would go.

A visit out of town always elicits excitement. And Florentina Homes alone is also reason enough to go back to Dumaguete: I hadn't explored all it had to offer visually, yes visually! It is eye candy with every turn. Wing del Prado, artist & wife of haciendero turned hotelier Nonoy del Prado of Bais, left no stone unturned in decorating the hotel. One can choose a theme for an apartelle: English Tudor to Mediterranean, while the hotel rooms take you from Mexico to Italy! trompe d'oleil (optical illusion) paintings abound in unexpected corners taking you places far away. The whole family contributed to the decor, daughters & sons being artistic too. Gaby del Prado chefs for the in-house bistro, which features an imaginative menu, and again, art bursting at the seams. The attention to detail extends to cozy bedrooms, warm hospitality & service not found in most hotels. A cut above, a destination in itself! Just 5 minutes from the airport.

We stayed at the Granada room and it's lovely! Beautiful interiors. They provided towels, soap and shampoo sachets. I suggest you bring/buy your own toothpaste and toothbrush. Great for long stays as the room we rented had a kitchen with basic kitchen ware such as plates, utensils, a small pot and kettle on the stove. There's a refrigerator that works and complimentary water (a large gallon for the dispenser) and coffee sachets. No microwave though. Really cold air-conditioning and cable TV. Parking area is nearby and accessible.

The room had a living area, kitchen/dining area, outdoor sink and area for drying your wet gear as there's a pool, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Very spacious and had a great homey feel.

There's also a restaurant which we didn't get to try though due to our trip agenda. Pool use is free so beware of people like their "lifeguards" telling you there's a fee for kids or whatever. Report it to the front desk! Pool isn't that large but big enough to swim around in for adults. They have a quick water slide. There's also an area for events near the pool.

Would book again.
