Dumaguete is a nice and quite town that my mother grew up in. Although I still have family here, I haven’t visited them in more than 29 years. While searching for a place to stay, we found this hotel right outside the Silliman University hospital. Literally just crossing the street. We checked it out for it’s convenient location and we were pleasantly surprised by the modern design of the lobby. They’re facade was so unassuming and right outside was a 7-11.
As we checked in, the staff was very professional. Being Dumaguete, they had that friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The rooms were designed very well. The bathrooms were pristine the the kitchenette was equipped with a microwave. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. The space was used very well. The perfect size for a family of four! Will definitely comeback here again!

Our stay at PVL suites was incredible! Located in the heart of Dumaguete City, you have shops, food, the hospital, everything was close by or walking distance! Besides the location, the hospitality from the staff and Clyo (hotel manager) was the best! If there's anything you need, they can help you with it!

Highly recommend if you're coming out to Dumaguete City, PVL Suites! Great location for a great price! I'll def be back! :)

Upon entering the hotel, you'd be met by a cool & clean atmosphere but with warm smiles from the reception staff. Checking in and out was a breeze.

Our room, the 2 bedroom suite offers ample space for the 4 of us and our luggage. This room has been effectively divided into 3 parts - the living room, 1 big master bedroom with a king-size bed and a smaller bedroom with a double bed. This suite has 2 toilets and showers - 1 just beside the living room and 1 in the privacy of the big master bedroom. The living room, the small bedroom and the master bedroom has its own separate split-type aircons that are efficient and very quiet. The beds, pillows, towels and linens are of high quality fabric and materials which are usually used in 5 star hotels. Very comfortable beds and pillows gave us a good night sleep and the dark draperies effectively blocked out daylight from seeping into the room. This hotel has laminated wooden floors which enhance the elegance of the interior design.

I've always complained about the slow internet connection in the Philippines. I've stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels in Manila and Cebu but I dare say that the Wi-Fi connection offered in this hotel is the fastest I've ever experienced in this country.

Lastly, I want to commend the management and all the staff who made sure that we had a delightful and safe stay. You all made us feel so welcomed and at home with your kind greetings and pleasant smiles. All of you are an epitome of Filipino hospitality!

We stayed one night at PVL Suites and really enjoyed out stay. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with any question or request we had. The rooms were very nice and stylish with a nice sink and counter. It was in a good location. You are in walking distance many food options and eat really well for cheap. Really good place.

Two adults and a child.
I had a busy a week so an overnight stay at the 2-bedroom in this hotel is an answered prayer. Big bed comfortable sheets for my daughter and I plus the separate room
For our companion. The place is near to
Restaurants and smaller
Eateries. We bought food from
Outside and enjoyed it inside our room
In the small
Kitchen. The showers were great and the rooms
Are
Clean when we got in. As usual - since this is not the first time we stayed in the place.
They were quick to act when one of the mirrors in the main bedroom almost fell while my daughter was sitting near the area. I am
Glad of the staff who acted right away. They also fixed the TV and cable issue.
Yes we
Will
Always come back to this hotel.
I hope they can find a
Way to
Offer breakfast maybe in the rooftop 😁

We stayed for 2 nights with an amazing staff. If is new and close to some restaurants within walking distance. Clean and Modern. I will recommend this facility to anyone. But keep in mind it is a tricycle ride to most places one may want to visit. It is however close to Siliman University.

I had a Great stay at PVL. Stayed 3 nights and the staff at both front desk and the door were really amazing. They were able to accommodate my requests and were always friendly. The rooms are big and have enough space and more modern than most of the places in DMGT. The whole place is new and very classy and modern looking. The only thing I noted was that all the 3 different rooms I stayed in were not cleaned properly. This could be bcoz I am very clean person but I noted some stains on walls and the furniture even in their executive suite. The bathroom sink and faucets and the shower was not cleaned to my standard. That’s the only thing I would recommend for them to change. Otherwise my stay was amazing. Will stay at PVL again in the future.

Great, clean looking hotel/ room, and helpful staff who recommend nice places to eat... oh and conveniently located above 7/11
However, during our stay we encountered some unexpected guests, such as bed bugs.... and a lot of mosquitoes...not fun!!
Someone (staff or security) entered our room whilst we were showering, when we approached the desk 5minutes later, the explanation was very unclear as to why. Took a while but they finally admitted they did it, and it was due to someone smoking (in another room)... still do not think this is a reason to enter someone’s room without permission and it is very unprofessional!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for couple of nights. I really like the design of this hotel and the colorroyal blue and gold. The room is clean but they have sink but no fridge which was the only thing missing I think 😊
