Took my daughter and my sister for a 3 day visit and had a chance to experience staying at Bukidnon Country Lodge. The best place to stay when visiting Bukidnon!!! The staff and the owner of the lodge will take very good care of you! Food is home prepared and very delicious!!! The freshest pineapple juice straight from the Del Monte plantation. The staff are all very warm and friendly. Efficient service and very clean and comfortable home and surroundings. Worth it!!! The added benefits one gets while staying at the lodge is access to a private tour of the Tuminugan Nature Sanctuary which is exclusive only to the lodge guests. I highly recommend taking advantage of this opportunity that one will not regret. Another plus to staying at the lodge is access to feed the native barking deers right next door! A private sanctuary of the owner and not open to the public. You can pet and feed the native deers. Here at the sanctuary the deers are safe from hunters. This species is close to being extinct. The sprawling gardens of the lodge will give you all the relaxation time one needs. Don't forget to ask for a massage at the end of your day! The lodge has an in-house masseuse!! If one wishes to, take a dip at the pool or simply sit by the bonfire on early evenings. We will surely return soon!! This lodge is a home that offers service that no other place in Bukidnon can offer! You get your money's worth!

This lodge is the house of the former Del Monte Bukidnon head of operations. It was built in the 1980s and has all the original furnishings and decorations. The location is right next to 20,000 hectares of pineapple plantation. Host Paula is very attentive, gracious and informative. Staff are great and always helpful. There are deer to feed, great gardens, a small swimming pool, gazebo, and they even offer a bonfire at night with marshmallows! This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the fresh and cool air of Bukidnon. It is especially ideal if you want to use this as your base to go golfing at the Del Monte course near by or visit near by parks and attractions. A wonderful experience!

What a divine place. Tranquility, nature, space to breathe, fabulous weather. Alone or with a family I have never experienced such a lovely place. The food was top notch. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas if that's what you want. As for those who want to chill out read relax take massage walk in the fields well what can I say this lodge has to all. The hostess will spoil you so that you will never want to leave. Definitely put this lodge and Bukidnon on your bucket list.

We stayed in the Country Lodge eleven nights. The place is gem. It is a beautiful, tranquil place with a homely atmosphere where you can relax or enjoy the numerous outdoor activities that the Lodge can arrange for you. The time we stayed at the lodge we never had a dull moment. The days of hiking, caving/spelonking, white water rafting and visiting the nearby Adventure Parks were alternated with days of cycling through the pineapple fields for which you can borrow mountain bikes and helmets from the Lodge. All staff at the Lodge are very friendly and helpful. They will go the extra mile to please you and make your stay unforgettable, this includes going cycling with you at 5:30 AM before it gets to hot..... And the food, what can I say....it is absolutely fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lodge and can recommend it to anyone. For us, it certainly is a place to go back to.

A homey & perfect sanctuary to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Excellent, excellent staff who anticipates your needs. Food is choicest & presented exceptionally. We are fully recharged, regenerated & re-energized. The "serene" surroundings and beautiful garden captivated my 88 year old Mother. Wheelchair access around the property greatly appreciated Thank you Paula for being such a gracious host - you went beyond our expectations.

This Lodge is a happy place. The aura as you walk in allows you to feel the peacefulness at once. Beautifully run by Paula Terrine and her efficient and pleasant team, we enjoyed every moment. The land is wonderful where you can take long walks or cycle around the pineapple plantation, visit her deers, or simply lounge over a the best refreshing pineapple juice reading a great book. Please note this is NOT a hotel but a Country Lodge. And it is 5-star.

The place is just perfect to get away from the noise of city-life.
The friendly driver of the lodge met us in Del Monte Club House and guided our way to the Lodge. The view leading to the house was just pure serenity as one takes in the vast pineapple plantation. Fresh fruit shakes greeted us when we arrived and we were ushered into our room - homey and beautiful.
The deer-feeding and the pool were the highlights of the children's stay so it was really relaxing for us parents, too. Then there were the free bikes, bottomless Hineleban coffee! The food was delicious as well! Board games and coloring books were available as well.
What was truly memorable about this place is the warm and impeccable service from the staff and the serenity of the place.
A must-go to place!

It was of sheer delight to find this hidden gem of a Bed & Breakfast and to experience a most fabulous stay at the Bukidnon Country Lodge. A private estate of The Perrines' nothing was spared to capture the spirit, elegance and beauty of how life was lived of the then world gone by with all the comforts and conveniences of our modern needs. Thanks to the guiding hands and ever watchful eye for detail of Paula Perrine, your every need is anticipated with all the warmth and efficiency of her staff in the most tranquil of settings in the heart of the Del Monte pineapple plantation field. It is indeed a unique and special place where one can nourish one's soul way from the hurly-burly of our ever hurried existence. But for those with the adventurous and curious spirit, special tours can be arranged. The Tuminugan farm tour is a must. It is very interesting and highly educational ------- from the methodology of reforestation and sustainable organic farming to the making of coffee, raising of bees and horses. One can easily rekindle our love for the land and its glorious bounty. The Dahilayan Adventure Park offers all kinds of rides and there is the white river rafting in Cagayan de Oro nearby for the not so faint of heart. The Del Monte pineapple plantation tour is breathtaking with its endless vista and a visit to Camp Phillips gives you a glimpse of how it was then in the good old days living in the plantation. My stay indeed was so unforgettable. Bukidnon Country Lodge is in a class of its own.

We were able to spend our honeymoon at the Bukidnon Country Lodge. This place really took care of us. The ride going to the Lodge was scenic as we drove along thte Bukidnon countryside.
When we got there, the well-trained staff immediately served us FRESH pineapple juice and then had our things brought up to our room. The whole place has a nice homey feel. It really is a home away from home (if you have a nice mansion for a home. If you dont, stay here and find out how it feels!)
The room was impeccable. We stayed at the balcony room and the view of the garden and the pineapple plantation is breathtaking. It simply is a view that you wont get anywhere else. The wi-fi connection was good. There was a TV and a bluetooth speaker inside the room. Although there was air-conditioning, the cool bukidnon climate was enough to keep us cool and comfortable.
The meals. They home-cook all the meals using recipes that the owner and her family have made and perfected over the years. You have to try all their dishes. My wife had the salmon while I had the burger for lunch, along with a lemongrass soup and the cream of broccoli soup. For breakfast, we had longganisa with a continental breakfast. And for lunch the next day, porkchops and chicken seville. I heartily recommend all of them! you cannot go wrong with anything you order.
They set up a bonfire for us where we enjoyed a bottle of red wine while talking under the stars. It really made the perfect beginning of our marriage. We plan to go back to this place again and again and again. Thank you for pampering us!

The Bukidnon Country Lodge can fit 18 to 19 individual beds, or 22 to 23 with family style bed sharing. It is an excellent place for recollection, meditation and prayer, but cannot fit 38 persons to sleep and day trips are not on offer.
