Dahilayan Forest Park Resort is celebrated for its enchanting atmosphere and the spacious, clean rooms offering picturesque views. Guests are charmed by the beautiful ambience and the hotel's natural setting, which accommodates a range of activities. However, some travelers express dissatisfaction with room amenities and highlight maintenance concerns, including safety issues and the occasional non-working shower. While the service is generally lauded for its warmth and efficiency, a few visitors experienced delays in the restaurant. Opinions on the resort's value are mixed, with praise for the experience clashing with criticisms over the price and amenity offerings.

Dahilayan is a great place for a short family stay. The weather in the mountains is a great escape from the heat, plus the views are picturesque. Service, ambiance, cleanliness were more than adequate. While there is food, it is a bit lacking in choices and feels like food stand at an amusement park vs. a hotel restaurant. Room service seemed really slow, so we opted to eat at the restaurant when needed. The room was decent and was a good size and value. Biggest detractor was the noise...there were many times loud families would be yelling at 4AM in the morning or after 11PM at night. Building 2 was definitely not for quiet escapes during our stay.

It was great experience. However it might be better if you provide fridge in rooms. Our take a way foods from the canteen was all broken the next day. The Barkada room is much better with more fans or even 1 aircon as it's getting hot nowadays. For me it's better to pay more to have aircon than to pay cheap and so hot room.

The staff were so nice. From the reception, canteen, rides. Everyone was jolly and very helpful. Thank you for the experience! Though it was a tiring to travel from Digos to here but it's worth it. ☺️

Our photos summarize the surroundings & activities/recreational facilities of the resort. The cool weather enhances relaxation.

There’s a sense of security as the gate is closed unless a vehicle enters/leaves.

For improvement:
Apart from Forest Cafe w/c is a canteen-like food service & food quality, it will be nice if there will be a bit more upscale resto so that guests can have a choice.

Provide hair dryer & lotion in every guest room.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. You don't even have to turn on the airconditioning unit all the time since the weather is already so cold. Staff were generally nice. The reception area did a seamless job too. I guess I'm giving it a 4 and not a 5 just because the food were just okay, quite a bit pricey too. I hope they upgrade their menu though because there aren't a lot of food items that you can choose from. Just so-so. But all in all, it was a great trip, as long as the kids are happy, I'm happy! As for the activities there, I had fun at the rainbow slide, buggy/ATV, and the Forest Luge. :)

The place is best to spend your time with my family creating memories. Highly recommended this hotel that offers discount for all rides along with your accommodations. Hotel also have wheel chairs to offer for elderly guests and a shuttle to roam around the park. Weather is so nice and fresh.

My only concern was the wifi connection, it is not available eventhough the purpose of us going there was business. The staff are accommodating as it should be, for example, the staff brought our luggages and many more. The room was well kept and beautiful. The whole place was wholesome. Thank you

Went to Dahilayan with my friends! We really enjoyed the cold weather, and fortunately we went during the weekdays so there were few to no people lining up on the rides/ attractions/ restaurant. All of us agreed that the mattresses were so comfortable & we were able to enjoy our stay there very much. The entire place is well-kept. The people were accomodating. The food in Forest Cafe is just okay. The rides are so exciting! Will definitely recommend it to others :)

I booked this trip for my family for rest and relaxation. Firstly, I was torn between Dahilayan Adventure Park and Dahilayan Forest Park (just knew that they are two different companies). I messaged them both but the Forest Park was very prompt in responding and thus, I booked with them.

I made the right choice.

Upon checking-in, the process was very smooth and quick. The receptionist was friendly and approachable. They asked us for our vaccination cards and health declaration forms which are essential. They rang us straight away once our rooms were ready. By then, we had the time to check the place. We also got to enjoy the rides. (750php/ package).

It's like we are in a different country.

The pine trees were enormous, the rides in the Forest Park were family friendly and less "adrenaline-inducing" but altogether very fun! We particularly enjoyed the Forest Luge & enjoyed the classical music and ambiance of their diner. We loved the Beatles!

The view of the whole park was breathtaking.

When we entered our rooms, we immediately felt at home. The hallway and the rooms smelt so nice that we felt relaxed. The beds are so comfortable. The floors are clean and the room itself is tidy. Special mention are the bathrooms. I highly compliment their bathrooms. It is clean, tidy, fresh and it felt like it is newly built. The shower and toilet are super clean. Towels and toiletries are provided. The lighting is great and the mirror installed in the door is a genius style.

The WiFi is not that fast but rightly so as we got to spend more time with each other than our phones. We got to relax and talk and discuss things in life. It was the perfect time to enjoy each other's company.

The Adventure Park is not too far too! It's just 3-5 mins away from the Forest Park.

I highly suggest you stay in Forest Park, enjoy their rides and the scenery. And then if you want a bit of more adventure, visit Adventure Park.

Hassle free smooth nature-immersive experience. Food choices are kinda limited but tasty. The journey going there is a reward in itself.....you might find that there are many guests at a given time...get the off season schedule and you will be treated like royalty. Staff are very hospitable and courteous!

Staff and crew are helpful. Room is clean and spacious, of course view from our room is superb. Areas for improvement, need to provide intercom, room lights must be working properly, water supply in the bathroom must be sufficient. Good experience!
