Lying in the middle of Smokey Mountains of Bukidnon is Barangay Dahilayan, a gem of gentle breeze air in a surrounding green fields of forest terrain being sheltered from the grounds of uninterrupted immensely mountainous pine trees.
Dahilayan lies 35 miles from the City of The Golden Friendship Cagayan de Oro City. 2hrs maximum drive and No flights available into. And hidden in the shades of the whispering Forest terrain is a breathtaking resort Dahilayan Forest Park.
A 2 long hour drawn out drive with scenery of the majestic mountains of Dahilayan Bukidnon from the Cities buzzing noise CDO.
Check-in was smooth and proper with strict COVID-19 requirement protocol, each accompanying guest to a room required to have the Covid declaration form and render a valid Id for identification purposes sending through email is fine.
We handpicked a room that will accommodate all of us 10 called Barkada package it has 8 double decker and decorated in warm earth tones and hues, and comfortably lit all rooms have a private toilet and bath with hot & cold water and guests are entitled to discounts on all rides.
Everything runs smoothly until their free of charge WiFi doesn’t reach the room itself, guest still needs to go out of the building or find a place to comfortably sit themselves in order to catch a good signals and Most sims under the Globe tower including GOMO can’t help.
Food was fantastic, Chefs kiss 😘 to the chef who do the breakfast and dinner it was a marked for me to remember how an authentic Filipino cuisine need to level up.👏👏👏
We went on a weekend so expect things to get hyped as people coming in and out and social distancing sometimes being forgotten.
At the end of the day, Leisure can make you unwind and relax but due to recent events never forget to be aware of your surroundings.
Stay safe and be well.

We had a family room, and it was quite spacious. The room was clean, and all the necessary amenities were there. They even provide face masks for every occupant, which I think was so thoughtful. There's also a heater if the weather gets too cold for you.

The room was more than i expected. While I booked for 10 persons, the room has 10 double-beds. Considering the rate (6,000.00 per night), I was very happy to consider the amenities provided - fluffy towel, blanket, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap. There are 2 toilet/shower room with hot & cold water. I love the pillow and the foam. While the rate is cheap, the room, the beds, the amenities are surely not cheap. We got more than what we paid for. EXCELLENT!

I spoke to MIA (09156018476) on the phone TODAY about some room requirements, I would like to ask the manager or owner how they are being accepted or hired for this job, or how are you evaluating your staff and what is customer service? Aside from being late to call us back while waiting a few days to talk to someone, she was very impatient on the phone and the sarcasm contained in the conversation. I am working in hotels in Dubai for few years and I always put my shoes for all my guests and clients instead of being rude and impatient like that. I want the management to act. The worst customer service I've ever had.

We were all 15 all in all, they provided us spacious food. I was happy with the room. The conference room was a different story though. We booked a conference room where the minimum meal buffet was 25 people. No problem we paid for the 25 people meal. We negotiated that since we were just 15, we would like to know if they would adjust the menu instead to serve good for 15 but with more food choices still good for 15. They declined, clamining that they will stick to the menu and server 25. My math would tell me that they could have saved their cost if they agreed to our proposal. Their food policy is way to restrictive. We didnt ask for any monetary discount, we prepaid everything, you could have shown flexibility. I would say the experience overall is average.

The stay was amazing. the room we got was clean and comfortable. Best price for 2 adults and 3 kids. We gt the Package ride at 750 each, and the kids had the best experience ever.
But, during our last night of stay, we went out of the area to do some horse riding. We got back at around 6 pm to order our dinner. The staff told us that they are closed, and that last order was 5 pm. I told her upon check-in, the receptionist informed me that last order is at 6:30 pm, it is even indicated in my welcome letter, and it is only 6 pm. She just said I am sorry, we cannot take any order anymore, we called the rooms, but there are no answer. She reasoned. I replied, this is a park, naturally, no one will just stay inside their room. Still they insisted that they are closed. So I asked her if they could consider, as I have 3 kids and we don't have anything to eat. She said I am sorry, you can go to the hotel on the other side. They are still open. And anyway, their serving is good for 2-3 persons.
And that was really frustrating, and a very poor service at all. That a hotel will let their guests starve. I have to go out of the facility, walk for 15 minutes going to the other hotel, Pine Grove, and oder from them, and walk another 15 minutes back to our hotel late in the evening. SO, never again .
Shout out to the Bumper boat staff, Luge staff and driver, ticket booth staff, etc. they were all amazing. Restaurant, thumbs down.

Dahilayan is a great place for a short family stay. The weather in the mountains is a great escape from the heat, plus the views are picturesque. Service, ambiance, cleanliness were more than adequate. While there is food, it is a bit lacking in choices and feels like food stand at an amusement park vs. a hotel restaurant. Room service seemed really slow, so we opted to eat at the restaurant when needed. The room was decent and was a good size and value. Biggest detractor was the noise...there were many times loud families would be yelling at 4AM in the morning or after 11PM at night. Building 2 was definitely not for quiet escapes during our stay.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. You don't even have to turn on the airconditioning unit all the time since the weather is already so cold. Staff were generally nice. The reception area did a seamless job too. I guess I'm giving it a 4 and not a 5 just because the food were just okay, quite a bit pricey too. I hope they upgrade their menu though because there aren't a lot of food items that you can choose from. Just so-so. But all in all, it was a great trip, as long as the kids are happy, I'm happy! As for the activities there, I had fun at the rainbow slide, buggy/ATV, and the Forest Luge. :)

We spent two nights here and had a great time. The Forest Park Resort was perfect for our family since our girls are aged 7 and 10. The room was more than adequate. The beds were very comfortable, and we're glad that they had Cignal TV for the times we wanted to just rest inside the room. The bathroom was also nice, with great water pressure in the shower! And the water heater was working perfectly, which. was a must given the very cool evening temeratures.
We also enjoyed the attractions in the Park. We tried the Alpine Train, crossed the Hanging Bridge, played a round of mini golf, and went down the Rainbow Slide (definitely our favorite!). Because of the girls' ages, we missed out on some of the attractions like the Luge. We were planning to go on the bumperboats, but found it too expensive (P250 for 5 minutes!) and given the size of the "lake/pond" that we would have been in, didn't think it was worth the money.
Aside from the attractions, we also enjoyed the various restaurants across the three parks - The Forest Cafe and Jessie's Diner (our personal favorite) in Forest Park, Cafe Salzburg (in The Alpine Village), and Pine Grove Restaurant (in The Adventure Park). We do wish all the restaurants were open for dinner though, as we learned that Jessie's Diner and Cafe Salzburg both closed at 5pm, leaving only The Forest Cafe and Pine Groce Restaurant as options for dinner.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back, but when the girls are a little older so we can enjoy all the attractions, especially those in The Adventure Park. And by that time, hopefully they would have added even more rides/activities and restaurants.
To the owners and management - you have a great place that can really attract tourists. Keep up the good work and please maintain the place well. It would be a shame if it deteriorated over time due to lack of proper maintenance. And hopefully you can continue to develop it by looking at what else you could add and offer.

Exceeded our expectations. The view of our room elevated our stay.
We came from San Pedro Laguna landed at CDO, then from CDO we rented a car and drove for about 2 hours to Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Easy to find, you can use waze to reach Dahilayan Forest Park.
The staff were courteous they always greet you with a smile.
The room is okay. Not a 5 star hotel so don't compare them to your luxury stays. But, the room has hot shower, a heater, it gets very cold at night, a phone so you can call room service.
The resto servea delicious meals. Specially the bacon!
They park offers a lot of fun. We tried all the rides.
Overall, it was a magical experience! Thank you Dahilayan Forest Park!
