A nice hotel in a very pretty location but not finishing it off. Checked in okay and told we had a room with one of the best views of the Lake. This is true except for the fact that it is obscured by 50 feet high Poplar trees. There is a veranda but this showed signs of not

We were lucky enough to have a room on the edge of the hotel complex with an outstanding view over Lake Wanaka. It was a challenge to find but well worth it. The room was on the small side & access was via a narrow staircase with no lift, but it was attractive & comfortable.

This hotel had a fabulous outlook over the lake with lush gardens and a pond running down to the waters edge. You could walk down to Wanaka along the shore in about 15 minutes. The rooms were good. The bar and restaurant were fine and the staff very helpful.

The rooms are cozy but can be a tad small. Ours has a lovely view of the lake. Cosy but required climbing up a narrow flights of stairs. Challenging if you have lots of luggage. Be sure to ask for a room in the common blocks rather than the Annex. There is a short trail that

I had longed wanted to visit Wanaka and Edgewater lived up to my high expectations. It is situated right on the lake. Our hotel room was spotlessly clean with a balcony and beautiful lake views. I think as far as accommodation goes it would be hard to beat this position wise.

Cozy comfortable room. This room is on an Annex and can only be accessible via fairly narrow stairwell.

Hi Sameera G, in terms of a view of the lake and mountains either room type is fine. Our one bedroom suites however are a lot more spacious than the studios - they have a separate bedroom, kitchen and dining area, washing machine/dryer in the bathroom. The suites are great for stays longer than one night when you may want to unpack and spread out. We have both room styles on the ground floor and first floor and you can let our staff know your preference when you make your reservation. Kind regards Mike Barton

Do the studio rooms have a lake view ??
I've never stayed there but I could see from the restaurant that some rooms overlook the late. Hope this helps.

Hi I’m sure you can get a lake view but you won’t get one from the bedroom, from our room we could see the lake and each room has its own little terrace and the grounds lead down to the lake
