I could write a review here about the ease of check in and check out. Or I could write about the wonderfully clean and quiet rooms. Perhaps I could write about the Kids Club, which my kids (5 & 8) absolutely loved or maybe the delicious food at the Blu Bar, or the pools and poolside activities. Or the waterslide that was another favourite of my kids. Maybe even the Bula Bus and the ease of getting to Port Denarau or the Big Bula Waterpark. But for me, the absolute best part of our stay at the Radisson Blu Fiji was hands down the people working there. Every single staff member that we had the pleasure of meeting were so friendly and welcoming that it made leaving the resort that much harder. The incredible staff went out of their way to make sure that we had the best stay possible. The way the staff treated my kids, wife and I made us feel like part of their family. Every single staff member there deserves a pay rise for the great job they do. Having a traditional Fijian farewell song sung to us at the end of our stay was an experience we will never forget. All the staff were incredible, but a special shout out to Akash, Saruwima, Moses and the HydroSports crew in particular. When we left we didn’t say goodbye, we said sota tale - see you later, because we will definitely be back. Can recommend this resort 100% especially for families. Vinaka vaka levu Radisson Blu crew.…
First of all I have to say this is a really great place. The quality of rooms, inclusions, pool, resort grounds etc etc all fantastic. But the thing that makes this a five star review is the staff, they are truly amazing. For someone who needed a relaxing holiday, the staff were just the best - the resort should be so proud of them all. They were so hard working and nothing was too much trouble. Just want to thank Rosi especially as one of the many staff that made the holiday so very special and made us feel like family. The resort is about 30min drive from Nadi airport and when there is a 5min taxi (or 25min walk) to Denarau Marina. There are a whole lot of resorts next door to each other and you can walk into and through the other resorts if you like. We were there at the beginning of May and it was a perfect time. The weather and sea temp was just awesome. I understand from the locals this weather pretty much stays the same until the wet season starts in November and goes till March. For a few tips - if travelling as a couple (I was) you definitely need to know that there are a lot of kids at this resort. The staff do a good job at keeping couples a bit separate (eg. adults only pool, adults only breakfast dining option and a bar at the front of the resort). The food is also pretty good but is better if ordering off the al a cart menus. Anything involving fish is incredible. The seafood platter is a must (even if you are on a package and have to pay extra). The buffet is ok for a day or two but after that you will probably want a change. Also, the only food that wasnt completely great was the asian food, I think they just dont have the ingredients to make it properly and avoid making anything too spicy. I booked the all inclusive food with a drink package and highly recommend this as the way to go. The ocean at the front of the resort is fine for swimming but not snorkeling. I suggest you stick to the pool. We did a couple of day trips out to snorkel and it was some of the best I have ever done anywhere in the world. The day trips can be a bit pricey if just booked with the tour companies, but we found some really great deals after asking around. After such a long time of not being able to travel or only travel in Australia (low quality, expensive), it was so great to go somewhere that really knows how to look after visitors and provide a very high quality experience for a reasonable cost. I would go back next week if I could. Highly recommend.…
A wonderful family holiday. Staff were so kind and caring. Made us all feel very welcome. The pool was amazing for the kids. My son had thr best time. Pool activities were fun and the kids club was fab.
A beautiful resort with very friendly staff. Well kept and tidy. Would recommend to stay. Bed was very comfortable. Room was perfect with fabulous view from our room. The Harmony massage hut was good value for money (needs a curtain for privacy and receptionist to book in all the passerby’s) amenities were great. Breakfast was fine, would have liked more fruit options but otherwise good. Blu Grill prices were exceptionally expensive and not great quality. Other resorts were a lot more affordable compared to this resort. Even on drinks. Overall we had a fabulous stay and still would stay again.
We are of family of 3 (mum dad and a teenage daughter), had an amazing 5 day stay from the 15th – 20th May 2022 at the resort. We felt so welcomed! Resort is very well maintained and so peaceful. Daily room setup service by a fantastic ever smiling staff. The pool was fantastic and had lots of entertainment by the dedicated staff. We had an awesome view of the ocean from our room! Best way to relive the stress. Had laundry and full kitchen facilities. But we never got to use the kitchen as the resort had 4 very good quality restaurants and had good quality beer, wine and spirits can be purchased at a reasonable price. Our package had a daily breakfast included and plenty of variety to choose from. There was daily twilight shows performed by the native Fijians, and live musical performance to dance the night away! We were there one night the hotel provided all the guests free unlimited cocktail evening with finger foods and also get to meet the hotel Management team. We didn’t have any other than full of praise of the staff and their service. We did a tandem Jet Ski provide by the resort at a reasonable price. All the staff we came across are exceptionally wonderful, friendly and willing to walk extra mile to meet customer’s need. We would like to sincerely thank all the staff at the resort during our stay and including these friendly faces at Blu Bar and Grill Kini, Kira, Susi, Meme, Tiki, Tima, Byblos, Rafia and Kira. This is our first trip to Fiji but won’t be our last…we will be back Radisson Blu Denaru Island. Please keep up the excellent work at this resort!…
