#1 of 6 hotels in Big Corn Island
Travelers' Choice
Paraiso Beach Hotel is a well known Corn Island resort, able to accommodate 40 people in 15 rooms, all decorated in traditional Nicaraguan style. They are made to make you feel right at home and all accommodations are about 70 to 120 meters from our beach. All rooms have hot water, AC, TV and super comfrotable beds. Right in front of Paraiso’s beach it’s very good snorkeling, even for beginners. The sunken ships provide shelter for many different species of reef fish. We organize regular snorkeling trips around Corn Island, to Little Corn Island or to the Pearl Keys. Yoga, cardio, fishing, golf cart tours, diving or biking are all options you might want to explore. Our on-site restaurant “The Buccaneer” offers great fresh food and lobster, shrimp or fish are of course a big part of the menu. We are looking forward to welcome you to undiscovered Corn Island! The owners, Mike and Ton

Went to Corn Island for a week. Stayed two. This was my second time staying at Paraiso Hotel. There were few visitors to the island and few at the hotel. With minimal staff I was very impressed with my accommodations and the service I received. Elgin, the General Manager, went out his way constantly for myself and the other guests. He made coffee, cooked breakfast, fixed my hot water, checked on my air conditioning, was there early in the morning and late into the evening daily. Under the worst of circumstances they did a magnificent job. Will recommend and will stay again.

This place o booked a couple weeks before my trip. They messaged me a couple days before my stay and said they would have to cancel due to covid... No refund. They never cancelled ... So I submitted a cancelation and refund ... They refused. Every other place I reserved gave me a refund or partial refund. We understand every place needs money but so do we since we lost our jobs and our vacation.

Hi, We refunded many people but sorry you feel this way. Your case had passed the free cancellation window by long. But we still offered you a free voucher for date change, no limit. That's the best we could do. Also, I don't think its fair you post reservation issues here without having experienced our resort. Writing me personally would have been better. Do note that your voucher stands and we hope to welcome you another time, for free.

Paraiso Beach Hotel is a great find. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive, and are always available. It’s apparent they care very much about their hotel and are eager to do anything they can to make their customers happy. The rooms are excellent: clean, well-furnished, with very comfortable beds. The meals (the included breakfast as well as lunch and dinner) were carefully prepared and delicious. The waitresses were attentive and eager to please. Paraiso is across the street from a beach: you can swim out a short way and see tropical fish hovering around two shipwrecks. All in all, it was a delightful experience!

This was the perfect relaxing week to end our 2 weeks adventure in Nicaragua. The rooms are cozy yet roomy, very clean, have A/C and a lovely porch with hammocks, chairs and swings on it to relax and have a drink. The breakfasts were amazing and the fact that we can get a beach towel a bonus for those of us who like to travel light. We were delighted with the hotel dogs that were very friendly and adorable. Tom and his wife and staff were very helpful and friendly. The resort taxi driver(Marcos) is a gem and is the go to guy for suggestions on places to eat or things to do! He truly knows what customer service is. Congtrats to Mike , Tom and the team for knowing how to make us feel welcomed and taken care of.
