Hostal Alal was clean, quiet and the owners were friendly. It is a very basic hotel however, it met all of our needs. It is located across the road from the ocean and is a short walk away from a few restaurants.

We stayed here for a few nights before heading to Little Corn and loved our stay. The owner was very friendly, nice, and helpful. The rooms are located on the upper level of the house and have an excellent sea view and breeze. We were lucky to have the front room which looked right out over the ocean and had a nice hammock and chair on the porch area to enjoy the view of Sally Peachie. The hostel is located right down from the dive shop. It was equipped with a fridge, a kettle, and a sandwich griddle which was wonderful. It is a shared bathroom, but was never a problem as it was only between 3 rooms. The room also had a fan which we never needed because of the great ocean breeze. The owner was helpful with lining up some bicycles for us to rent as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.…
