Hotel management should seriously put DOUBLE LOCKS in all rooms. We stayed at the ground floor rooms near the pool (I guess these are the older rooms and the ones in the main building are way better). Doors open outward and have no supplemental locks inside. On the 4th night of my stay, a man and a woman (probably employees) opened my room a few minutes past midnight! Who does room check at 12 md!! Good thing I woke up as I heard them fumbling with the knob. Told me they "thought the room was already vacated." Whut? Whatever purpose they wanted to use the room for, that should have been avoided if there were locks inside the room. I don't mind the very basic room, a no-remote TV, a slimy pail in the room, and a stagnant pool (which was probably where all the mosquitoes came from). What didn't allow me to sleep well at night was the possibility of someone barging into the room during the night, and I can't believe it really happened. :( Guests who stayed in the main building said their rooms were nice! Buffet for functions were managed, and if you're late for a few minutes the buffet would have been collected by then, but they will gladly prepare a plated meal for you. Ilocano dishes are yummy! The owner and the staff are accommodating and pleasant. Made up for the lapses I mentioned above. Thank you, North View!

This hotel has recently undergone a facelift improving on the old-look yers ago. Rooms are clean and equipped with basic amenities such as aircon, hot and cold shower, tv. There is also a restaurant and a swimming pool. Parking may be a bit cramped at the front but i think they have another parking area in another part of the hotel.

Stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. Exteriors has improved a lot since the last time I stayed here. We were given room number 1. Room has been renovated to have a modern feel. Several maintenance concerns such as weak water heater, broken bathroom doors, dirty groutings. No remote in the room and electrical sockets are hard to find. Breakfast is included in the room. Set meal composed of rice, sunny side up egg and processed meat ( vienna suasage, luncheon meat). Hotel had a swimming pool and basketball court although you have to give a deposit of 500-1000 for ball rental?! Had very minimal contact with their staff but based on my observation, they can still professionalize their demeanor. Would I stay here again?probably yes because there are very limited hotels in Laoag but if I had a choice, I would definitely try a more upscale hotel around the area.

Having stayed here now a number of times and always greeted with a smile, remembering that we are regular guests, the rooms we have stayed in have always been cleaned when we have arrived and cleaned when requested as we sometimes tell the staff it doesn't require today, never a problem if asking for extra towels or extra pillows, they always go the extra mile ! You only have to ask !! Breakfast is either American or local choices if you require anything special the staff go out of their way to help, I only use fresh milk so buy it and leave it in their refrigerator which they produce each day for me ! As in most local hotels food rarely comes hot but again its your own fault if you don't make the request for it to be hot and never a problem for me as they know me by now ha ha, hot hot hot ! They are not mind readers so just ask and you will be pleased ! They even put my evening drinks glasses in the freezer to cool the beer as they used to ask if I want ice in the beer, err a big no no for me ice in beer ! Again make your request and they please ! I do however feel that the pool has to much in the way of Chlorine as you cannot see through the dense blue, which really needs addressing as it should be crystal clear to see the bottom of the pool, so never actually been in the pool for that reason, which would be a bonus if addressed before next time we go ! On the whole a good basic friendly place to stay that won't break the bank !

the hotel was recommended by our partner travel agency hence i am confident that i will get a good room to stay...to my disappointment, the room that was assigned to me was too small...tv was just like 19" lcd...cupboard was fitted in a very tight corner...CR has no hot & cold facility...toilet fixtures look horrible...they even have an old pail and worn out "tabo". Shower was worn out and they fitted in bare GI pipe with no paint and was not even fixed. no ref...no hanger but it has a very large sofa bed like furniture that actually impede mobility inside a cramped room....i actually freaked out and complained to their room service attendant. Good thing...they transferred me to a much bigger and more comfortable room with a queen size and single size bed...still got no view but wifi is working....no ref...no slipper provided thus its hard to walk around barefoot on ceramic tile flooring...a bit inconvenient...free breakfast was really a budget meal thus its hard to enjoy the true ambiance of stay in Ilocos Norte....not really a recommended place to stay in Ilocos norte....i got excited about the pool but when i checked on it...it was worn out and too small....

Laoag is a beautiful place but pls don't make the mistake of staying at Northview Hotel. I paid my room online but when i arrived in the evening, i was told to pay in cash. The receptionist promised that my online payment will be refunded thru my credit card. After 1 month & no refund, i called the hotel weekly for 10 months & they promised to send my refund. Till now still no refund. Their rooms were dusty, dirty & disgusting. Its located in a noisy location. Im going back to Laoag but never ever in this hotel.

Good place to stay in Laoag. Rooms are well lighted, complete amenities except for inhouse slippers/rugs. We recommend you to choose Deluxe as the place is spaceous and quiet. Tours: They accommodate us with our own VAN, for 6persons. Its really agood thing we took their tours as the spots are quiet far, it'll take you about 2-3hrs travel time. Hotel: Spaceous and good place to relax. Staffs are accommodating and some ae bit timid to answer some of our queries. Overall: We're able to arranged for a 3D2N tour for Laoag + Pagudpud that includes accommodation t free breakfast + entrance fees + van/fuel/driver + complimentary snacks t free use of pool (yas i love them) all you have to do is to get on the van and you're good to go.

Its hard for me to find the right words for this hotel let me just put it this way. BEST VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. They have everything a traveler like me would be looking for. High speed internet check, swimming pool check good food check, accommodating staff check. And most of all a quiet environment. That one whole month was really awesome.
