If it's already late and all the hotels are fully booked then check in to this hotel. The hotel is several minutes away from the city hence, you have to ride a tricycle going to the city proper. The room is okay. If you want additional pillow, you have to pay for it. Food is so so. Service is like you never existed.

The hotel has a very nice architecture. Although the rooms, service, breakfast is simple. Wifi not so reliable. But its in-house restaurant with videoke performance can make the trip fun especially with peers. Staff was reasonably friendly and caring. While doing work at the lobby as the Internet connection can only be accessed, I ordered for coffee. The staff offered me a refill without any additional charge. Simple gestures, I guess, matters a lot.

Place shows promise but the small rooms, with bunk beds, along with a remote location and haphazard service make this place good for an overnight but not much more. There's a nice pool but around it is old and shabby, including the pool bar which is on its last legs. The pool, however, is clean and refreshing. Wifi is in the public areas only.

This hotel's manager named Rizal was annoying, plastic and inconsiderate! when he talks to you on the phone he's so nice. My sister can attest to that when she called me while Rizal was saying side comments about me. The place is okay but the people that run this need to undergo customer satisfaction service course.

They showed us a bold movie in our van from our transfer in from airport to hotel.

Bathroom shower and toilet water supply is weak.

Staff needs yo learn the fine art of customer service and product knowledge.

I am so disappointed with this hotel. A far cry from their name "Palace of Laoag."

Stay in this palace and live like a pauper inside!

Booked a room with their Manila Sales Office. Told them that I will avail the shuttle service going to their hotel. I even confirmed my reservation hours before my flight. Upon arrival, i had to call the hotel to ask where's the shuttle. I had to wait almost 40 minutes.

Upon checking in, none of the employees assisted me with my baggage. And lastly, i had to call the attention of housekeeping because the toilet flush won't work.

Old furnitures, weak wifi signal, and noisy ACU are what you'll expect here.

My friends used to check in at Palacio de Laoag and had been giving it a good review. Unfortunately, our stay last weekend was a BIG Disappointment. They gave us 2 very small rooms without telephone. (They said that the hotel is fully booked and that those are the only rooms available.) We left in the afternoon for a business transaction and went back at past 9 in the evening. our aircon unit was not working well, staff recommended that we be given an electric fan but we insisted for a refund of our room accommodation so we can transfer a different hotel. They transferred us to a big room (dormitory) which can accommodate around 20 persons. The said room looks a bit creepy and dusty.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay in this hotel. This place was a very good place to relax after a day of touring the city. The doorman was really friendly. They have good front desk crew. I also loved the free breakfast together with our accomodations. I personally loved the place because of the amenities they can provide. The rooms are really good although there can still be more improvement that can be done. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. My family and I will surely come back to this place.

Have stayed here with a group of friends September last year. And we just receive the best treatment and service from all their staff after a tiring trip from Manila. They have already prepared the best tasting Ilocano dishes for us to satisfy our hunger. Good service from all of their stop were non-stop. This is the best accommodation you could find in the area with the best value for your money. They even prepared and coordinated everything for our best Sand Dunes experience.

A friend of my husband kindly recommended this hotel in Laoag and since most city hotels were already fully booked, we tried it... anyways it's just for a night. The entrance looks impressive, it has a long driveway, parking is spacious, the Lobby is warm and inviting but the room where we stayed was terrible! Since were were 2 adults + 2 teens, we had to book a bigger room. Another friend who booked with us that same night (they were 3), were given a standard but renovated room. Ours was old, smelly and no longer well-maintained, and the price higher of course because they said it's a Suite. I complained about the room and requested to be transferred to a smaller but newer room assuring them I don't mind the cramped space and paying the same price (Suite rate) as long as it's fresh-smelling and new. Despite my request and complaints, Front Desk staff said they're full and our family would not fit in their standard room. Whatever is the truth between the two, me and my family decided just to survive the night and checked-out mid-morning after a not-so appetizing breakfast (it went with the room booking). My only consolation in this Hotel was the Housekeeping staff/Supervisor who very kindly made arrangements to lessen the smell and "freshen" again the bathroom.

This Hotel is definitely crossed out from my list of Hotels "to stay again". And I still should rely on my own research and blogs/reviews of seasoned travelers before I even try another hotel.
