Rooms are clean and staff are very friendly. It has the basics amenities like A/C, TV, hot & cold shower, and there’s a parking lot & a carwash (if you need one). Rooms start on the second floor and the stairs are steep. So watch out.

L'hotel Rose è un albergo abbastanza anonimo che potrebbe essere ovunque, ma è al di là del ponte che collega Laoag al sud dell'isola di Luzon. L'edificio si presenta esternamente bianco e blu e lo si nota di lontano perché è piuttosto alto. Bisogna fare attenzione perché ha diverse tipologie di camere, le più economiche delle quali senza la finestra. Ne ho chiesta una con finestra ma affacciava sulla strada ed era impossibile tenere la finestra aperta a causa del rumore. Ma per fortuna c'era, ben funzionante, l'aria condizionata. I letti sono larghi e comodi e il bagno pulito e dotato di acqua calda. Una televisione a schermo piatto con molti canali internazionali. L'amica che viaggia con me aveva perso un e-reader che per fortuna poi ha ritrovato; tutto lo staff si è fatto in quattro per aiutarla nelle ricerche. Il wifi nelle stanze è debole però nella hall funziona bene; mi è stato consegnato un rooter personale molto veloce. Una pecca: nella stanza c'erano solo due prese di corrente.

The hotel is new and the rooms are cheap. Pretty basic actually but if you just want a place to sleep because you're gone all day anyway, this place will do.
PROS:
Parking space, location is near capitol (just across the bridge, you can walk it), rooms with AC and cable TV, staff are attentive and friendly, ensuite bathroom, generally clean
CONS:
No elevator, stair steps too steep - seniors or persons with walking problems will have difficulty, food choices so-so, no fridge or coffee making facilities, no windows in their rooms so it can be a bit stuffy (windows are in the bathroom).
Then again, this place is still better than a dorm type hostel/hotel - cheap and private. So I'll still go here if my budget does not allow me to.
