First of all, this hotel has an excellent location, near the center of town (where all the places of interest are located). My wife likes to go to mass every day and it is only a few minutes walk from the Cathedral. And Jollibee was a short walk up the street, where we had breakfast every day (and this is open 24 hours). This hotel has inexpensive, okay rooms, not luxurious, but okay. On the other had we had some serious problems. I am partly disabled and when I reserved a room there I asked for a first-floor room. Two days before my arrival, I also telephoned the hotel to ask if I could have a first floor room, and they reassured me that I would have a room on the first floor. But when my wife and I arrived, I was told they have no first floor rooms. (Luckily, I could still go up their stairs.) I also asked to be picked up at the airport when I arrived. I called several days before our arrival to ask them to send their car there for us, and the woman answering the phone said their car would pick us up at the airport. But when we arrived at the airport, we looked and looked, but there was no car from the hotel there for us. This could have been a catastrophe. The airport is in a rural area, eight kilometers from Laoag. There are no taxis in the whole Laoag area. The tricycles are too small for me to fit in (and in fact I didn't see any there). A guard kindly looked for a car for us, but there was none. What could we do? Finally, by the grace of God, I spotted a mini-taxi, of which there are less than half-a-dozen in the whole Laoag region, who took us to our hotel. (In fact, this mini-taxi took us all over the province in the following days). When I said to the woman at the hotel that there was no car from the hotel for us at the airport, she just said she forgot to send it.

Above average rating since most hotel rooms in PI are average or even below. Centrally located so you have all the stores and shops pretty close. Didn't really stay at the hotel much besides to sleep. Was close to all the shop and stores i wanted to eat and see.

We got the family room for Php1,900. Basic with 2 double beds, a dining table with 4 chairs and 2 sofas. Cool aircon with hot and hold shower. Great location. There are restaurants within the area, groceries and a 24 hour empanadahan just a few blocks away.

An affordable hotel situated near the city center. This is also near to several food establishments so no need to worry in case you become hungry. 😬 They have large rooms with comfortable beds. The staffs are friendly, kind and helpful.

Location and staff excellent. Very fast response on requests. Tea kettle and glasses should have been provided without being asked. Breakfast service slow and food need improvement. Cleanliness also need improvement.

First, the location was excellent. It is at the center of the city which makes Laoag's tourist spots accessible. Similarly, transportation modes going to other cities of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur is available nearby. Fast food establishments, malls, banks, and the public market are near. Street foods (which are part of the city's identity) are available along the market. The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was a no-frills one. Essentials are available. It's what you'd expect for the price you pay. Overall, our stay was nice.

For a short stay the hotel room was ok, clean and comfortable with decent a/c and good wifi. It is close enough to most attractions to just walk. There is a 24/7 jolibee outside which was useful. I didn't use the attached restaurant but it seemed busy all the time with locals. Tricycles and bus routes are close by and it was easy enough to find from the drop off in the plaza (route from vigan). A bit noisey in the evening. Very basic room but good for a solo or couple budget traveller/s.

We arrived Laoag at 2:00am and we have been calling reception nonstop before that just to make sure that we have a room when we arrive. Richard, the manager, is really accommodating. He is a pleasant person to talk to and makes sure that all our concerns are addressed. We stayed at a family room and it was worth the price that we paid. We only paid 1900 (or around 40-50$). it already has a double bed and a matrimonial bed, a sofa, a ref, a workstation, a dining table. Cable tv and hot and cold shower is also available. They also have a 50's themed restaurant downstairs that offers milkshakes :) The place is in the center of the city, very near to local shopping, restaurants, museum, park and tourist spots. Everything is almost in walking distance. We stayed here as a family of 5. I have two teen daughters and a nine year old son. :)

It's a no-frills hotel, so I wasn't expecting much from the room. That being said, we weren't expecting much. It's fairly clean, beds were a bit on the firm side which I didn't mind. AC was very loud, all throughout, we had it checked but to no avail. We were also bothered that someone tried to get into our room, which turned out to be someone from the reception area who wanted to clarify something about our booking. The least he could've done was knocked. The lock at our shower was missing, so we improvised with a haripin. Toilet space was very cramped as it was lodged next to the shower stall. Water temperature settings were set up incorrectly (turn left for cold, right for hot), and was very temperamental. Scalding hot one minute, then suddenly cold the next, without turning the knob. Water pressure was good though. Breakfast was also confusing. There was a diner connected to the hotel, front desk would just indicate that the free breakfast is there. Once there, and after ordering and eating, we were asked to pay. It was settled quickly enough when we mentioned that we were hotel guests, but the whole process can be improved next time. On a plus side, they did lend us an umbrella when we had to go out and it was raining outside. Overall, it's not entirely bad, but we'd likely skip this hotel the next time we're in Laoag.

When on a tour, we usually look for a hotel with a nice comfy bed, clean bathrooms and strategic location.. We expect to be out all day anyway.. And Hotel Tiffany was the right place to be! It is near the plaza, church, most eating places. The hotel staff were friendly though some need more zest when speaking with guests..
