Detailed Reviews
I don't know why some are complaining of this hotel. It is a simple budget hotel. It is not the best hotel in the city but guests get what we pay for.
The employees of the hotel were quite nice and accommodating. They know that we were tired from our travel, they made sure that check in easily.
The room were simple. Beds were comfortable. Linen and pillows were clean. The toilet and bath were okay.
The good thing with Hotel Tiffany is that it is near some of the major attractions of the City of Laoag like the Tobacco Monopoly Monument; the Saint William's Cathedral and its sinking bell tower; the Museo Ilocos Norte; the Ilocos Norte Capitol Building; the Laoag City Hall and others. All of these tourist spots are walking distance.
Hotel Tiffany is located in Ilocos Norte and Laoag City's major thoroughfare which is frequented by tricycles and kalesas or horse-drawn carriages thus making trips to other corners of the city easier.
It is also near transport depots and bus terminal for intra and inter-provincial transfers like bus lines to Manila and to outlying towns like Burgos, Bangui and Pagudpud.
The hotel is also near food outlets from simple fastfood outlets to local gastronomic delight. Below the hotel is a US style diner that serves typical American diner delicacies and Filipino delights.
The hotel accepts major credit cards that makes it convenient and safe for travelers like me. No more need to bring so much cash.
The only thing I don't like with the hotel was the long flight of stairs. There's no elevator to service the different floors. But I am not complaining. The hotel was good enough for me. Besides, I am always out the whole day visiting the sights of Laoag City and the Province of Ilocos.
If you're just looking for a place to rest after days of sightseeing and activities and you're in a budget, Hotel Tiffany is the accommodation for you as it is for me.

I stayed here for 3 days while doing some business in Laoag. The hotel has a good location in the city center and is within walking distance (2-15 minutes) of city hall, the provincial capitol, a museum, restaurants and fast food joints, convenience stores and supermarkets, and at least 1 bar.
The rooms are basic and clean, and are equipped with flat screen TVs and new AC units. The rooms are painted in what I can best describe as a 60s theme, with the walls in one room I used sporting pink polka dots and another being painted in broad purple stripes. The bathroom fixtures are a bit dated and shower stalls in some of the rooms are quite narrow, making it difficult to give yourself a good soaping or scrub while showering.
The hotel does not have an elevator, but is only 4 storeys, so this should not be a problem if you are reasonably fit. There is also a restaurant on the 1st floor, Macy's, a 50s style diner. I did not dine here, but it seems to be popular with the locals. As I mentioned, there are a lot of other dining options nearby. A 24-hr. fast food place, Jollibee, is almost directly across the road from the hotel. The hotel is also within walking distance to bus stations where you can get a ride to other parts of Ilocos Norte or the neighboring provinces.
Room rate are ideal for those on a budget, ranging between PhP 750.00 - 1600.00. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to assist guests, particularly Richard, the person manning the front desk.

The hotel vicinity is very convenient, nearby drugstore, supermarket, terminals, restaurant and a lot more. Speaking of restaurants, you should try Macy's Diner (just beside Hotel Tiffany), they had a great food servings, very delicious! the restaurant's theme will make you feel like you're in the States, which bring me back my NYC trip last year. LOL. Anyways, back to the Hotel Tiffany, it was a relaxing stay experience, thus, staffs are friendly most especially the concierge/manager of the hotel, i think his name is Richard (if im not mistaken), he's really approachable. Good looking staffs and even security guard are accommodating and knowledgeable especially when you want to explore more beyond Ilocos. That's why, there are no certain regrets on staying in this hotel. High five to this hotel! *cheers!*

After a long drive from Pagugpod, we searched and found Tiffany hotel in Laoag. The rooms and rates were comparable at first but the sad part is, the customer service SUCKS!The front desk lied to us about the room rates, lied about the accommodation privileges and the worst part is, they are not family friendly hotel! Beware of this hotel!

My "stay" at this place was limited to less than 5 minutes. Here's how: I checked in and saw a room....unimpressed but did not want to walk around Laoag on a hot day with luggage. Walked up the street to Isabel Suites....rooms in the new annex including breakfast P850....all new...clean and without the depressing feel of an urban YMCA in America in the 70's that "Tiffany" gave me. I then returned to Tiffany and bribed the clerk P150 to let me back out of my check in....they gave me the money and I took it up to Isabel....no regrets.

The location of the hotel is right in the center of Laoag City. It is perfectly walkable to the provincial capitol where one could have a good view of some historic landmarks, and not to forget to mention it proximity to nice restaurants. If you stay in this hotel, your are on the same road that leads you to Burgos, Bangui and Pagudpud towns.
The staff are very courteous and always ready to assist to open their private garage that is located behind the building. The room that we stayed in on the 2nd floor, Rm. 202, is well cleaned, excellent AC, nice reception TV, and with hot/cold shower. Only thing is that the partition between the shower area and toilet allowed water to seep hence making the toilet wet which I personally disliked very much!!! The resto at the ground floor looks interesting replicating some food chains in the 50's in the USA. My 10-year old daughter was delighted playing the jukebox!

The colorful design motif -- an earnest mashup of Florida resort chic and Gulfstream-era transit motel -- adds charm to the otherwise simple rooms. Adequate space. Sufficiently comfortable. Superb location; walking distance to most attractions in the city center. Definitely worth the off-peak rate.
Bear in mind that there's no elevator, in case you're lugging gear with you. It wasn't an issue for my girlfriend and I, but some might regard that as a point of consideration.

An art deco hotel that surprisingly stands in the center of Laoag City. The hallway reminds me of old hollywood, plus the color really gets the feeling of the hotels in Miami! The rooms are clean and the simple, i also like the bathroom with door enclosure because shower curtains remind me of a part in the Psycho's movie. They have flat screen tv and energy saving aircon so its a great deal for less than P1200. The staff are very friendly and they have a cool 50's diner downstairs with real antique jukebox playing! The noodles are good especially SUper mami and my favorite on the go is the sloppy joes, need a bit more spicy but its ok. its a blast from the past. For sure i will bring my folks the next time i go back to Laoag.

This hotel have their own restaurant on the first floor. We've tried their food and it was delicious and affordable. Near to Hotel del Norte Laoag. Their room accommodation ranges PHP 1,500.00 and up. Small hotel.

"We were shown 2 different rooms both at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor. Both were equally clean and we chose the one with a double bed. The aircon was ond of the quietest we'd come across in Philippines . We could not hear the traffic from the rooms at the rear."Read full review
