Beer is ice cold , with a good serviced bar and a great restaurant . Meal service to our room was well done too . Very huge swimming pools with slides to suit young and old .
Also many huts on the seaside with good views with a beautiful sunrise .
We Will be returning . My girl Loved the Karaoke hut to retreat
Accessability is easy as the main road goes right by the entrance. But you will still be some kilometres from Naval city, so transport is to be considered, or there are plenty of trykes passing by ready to give you a ride for a small fee.
Probably the most striking feature upon arrival is the amazing gardens that are kept manicured to perfection. You will truly be impressed by their neatness, as well as the birdlife that are attracted to the area.
One thing that did bother me a little is that there are a number of employees on site, working in the gardens, canteen etc, and sometimes it was a little hard to work out just who was the employees and who was the customers. They do wear t shirts with the chamorita, but I still nearly got caught out asking a customer for the menu.haha.
The service was always good, if a little laid back, and no major mistakes were made.
The manager seems to be always on site and he makes sure you are happy [expect him to ask for feedback].
The food was clean and well presented, and remarkably cheap.
The rooms are large and seem quite new. The CR was clean and hot water plentiful. [that isn't always the case in Provincial areas]
Its actually quite difficult to find faults with Chamorita itself. Just be reasonably ablebodied as there are plenty of stairs and pathways about. You will get an influx of locals from time to time as they enjoy using the beach front shanties for small parties, as well as the Free WIFI.[and it actually works] . But everyone was well behaved during my stay, so no problems there.
Just don't expect tooooooooooooo much excitement and you will be truly satisfied with your stay in Chamorita.

Transport from this hotel is a major issue. There is no reliable transport services, unless you like overcrowded Taxi-bus, Trikes or whatever. Best to ring for a taxi from your cell phone.
Being a long way from anything, I expected at least a jug and coffee to make up for this. Nothing. No mini-bar too. But it did have a good mini-fridge.
Most items on the menu were unavailable, so ham and egg sandwiches were my main breakfast lunch and dinner.
Take your own jug, cups, t-spoons, coffee sugar and food. Be prepared to handwash your clothes in a bucket. Be careful in the water as lots of rocks and other dangerous obstacles.
You have to pay to use their internet PC. All drinks were sold by the bottle, so no glass of Rum and Coke with ice was available.
It's a nice place, but parts need finishing or building and it is a bit overpriced for this quality of hotel and services, or lack of.
All in all, a pretty place (see photos), but not a place I would recommend due to the above.
I have to admit that this resort looks really nice and appears to have a lot of amenities that could make for a great stay, however upon arrival to the front desk at the restaurant/bar, the receptionist completely ignored us. We had to ask "Can someone assist us?" and then we were still ignored. After a commercial came on the TV, we were then asked "What do you want?" When we asked for room rates we were told "No available!" and then ignored again.
What a shame and what a sad way to address potential multi-night customers.

After four years of coming and going here, discovering new and exciting places to visit, transport is made easier than ever with purpose-built vehicles for hire [with driver] or motorbikes for rent at reasonable prices.
For us, Chamorita is no ordinary hotel by the sea; it’s a well-run boutique resort nestled within brilliantly manicured tropical gardens blending magically with the water's edge. Yet nothing here is so colorful as the sunsets over the western horizon, and to the east, deep green mountains and rice terraces all within walking distance from our room. Pleasant also is the cosmopolitan atmosphere provided by a constant flow of local and foreigner vacationists. The pure fact that patrons keep on returning speaks volumes for this laid-back getaway. During our recent two months stay here a number of couples had chosen to celebrate their marriage in a romantic function room built upon the resort’s own quay. Fascinating again are local fishermen arriving by boat to offer their catch.
Our only complaint is there’s no collective tip-box to reward all the gardeners, receptionists, cooks, waiters, waitresses, room attendants, laundry workers, security guards, and drivers. The same smiling workers greet us every time we visit; certainly makes one feel at home.
Curious though are a few negative comments on this forum. Allow us to add that this special place is in the Philippines archipelago, not elsewhere in more developed countries, and that in the Philippines a simple smile goes a very long way indeed. It works wonders for us.
Added are some iPhone pictures of our own.
The rooms are clean and you have a choice off non aircon for 900PHP a night, or 500PHP for non aircon.
The rooms have hot showers that work once you let them warm up a little.
The free WIFI is great, although doesn't work all the time.
Owner is friendly.
You can cook your own food and they have a refrigerator for you to use.
All in all we had a great time.
Pity it has rained most off the time, but this is not the resorts problem.
