1. Check your sheets - Our family had 2 rooms. In one room there were dirty / used sheets on both of the beds. When it was time to go to bed, it was clear that the sheets had been used before. When the front desk was notified of this, they simply sent new sheets up for the guests to re-make the beds as they did not have any staff to do this. 2. Bring soap. Do not expect any cleaning while you are there. We checked in on a Monday and were informed that cleaning would be on an "every other day" schedule. We were fine with this as staffing is an issue and we are pretty low maintenance folks. On Wed. morning, we asked the front desk if we were scheduled for cleaning. They would not promise anything. We told them they did not have to clean anything, but we did need more coffee cups (we used the disposable ones for 2 days), a bar of soap (the shower gel was empty) and a new shower mat. We got absolutely nothing. We checked out Thursday with ZERO service. The location was great for our needs, but the service was totally unacceptable. Would not recommend it.

This hotel is in a great area - easy walking to lots of restaurants & shopping. Really friendly & helpful staff overall. Small gym but brand new treadmills. The rooms are clean. No safe & no hair dryer. Never in my life has any hotel world-wide not had a hair dryer. I didn’t realize until the morning, after I got out of the shower. Called down to the front desk & no one answered. It was 8a so I’m sure really busy, but frustrating to not have a hairdryer & not be able to reach anyone to get one.

While the room was clean, it was rather small with only limited space for desk work and countertop use. It was also very dark and the many ambient lights really didn't help with the room's overall darkness. We were surprised by how expensive the breakfast was. We had recently been to The Summit, where a breakfast buffet was $21, and the Cincinnati Marriott Northeast, where a breakfast buffet was $15, and got one coffee, one oatmeal, one fruit cup (with bad strawberries) and a bagel for $21. There were also no offerings for anyone with a dairy allergy. The lobby area is very quiet, despite the hotel being near a highway and a busy shopping area, but the nearby room noises are quite loud. We could hear everything from any nearby room and all hall noises quite loudly. The location is near a lot of restaurants and shopping and convenient to major roadways. The in-room refrigerator and closet space are very small. If you plan to stay longer than a few days, the countertop and storage spaces are too small.

Threadbare towels, mildew and smelly shower curtain, no lotion provided in rooms. Daily cleaning not provided. This is ridiculous. Staying at a hotel and this is expected. Staff friendly. I would not stay here again. Asked about lotion and the reply was, "Marriott doesn't require us to provide it so we don't." No daily cleaning.

This is the kind of place you want to stay when you are on a road trip and have been driving all day and want a place for one night only with a clean comfortable bed, good ac, and a good shower. Should cost under $100. That’s all you get here. No amenities of any kind. Small room. Noisy AC. Small bathroom with two towels and little bars of soap. No restaurant. Inconvenient parking. Egregiously over priced at over $200/night including taxes.

We had an amazing stay all around, but the person that really made the trip was the front desk gentleman Steven. He was so accommodating and friendly, and is an incredibly valuable member of your staff!! Thank you Steven for helping us with any needs that arose. The Courtyard is lucky to have someone that cares so much and takes great pride in their work. We will be back!

Probably the worst stay I've ever experienced at a hotel. I booked a king room with a couch. After getting to my room, I noticed they put my fiance and I in a double queen handicapped room. So I went down to the front desk to hopefully fix the issue and get my correct room. I was told by the front desk, "oh sorry we are really booked up." I booked my room almost 3 months in advance and wasn't informed that they changed my reservation. I'm not sure why they chose us to move rooms without even contacting us. We were there to celebrate our baby moon, I was under the impression that they had a pool, gym, and a bistro bar. The pool wasn't open until the following month. They stated that on the website but nothing about the bar bistro being closed. So 2/3 amenities weren't available. That was disappointing. Moving on to our room, I tried to take a bath to relax because I'm 8 months pregnant. The plug didn't seal so it would drain the minute you turned off the water. Frustrating, as I had to keep running water until I just gave up. We tried to order pizza and call the front desk, our hotel phone didn't work in the room. During the night the hotel was full of wedding guests and they would come in loud and drunk in the early hours of the night. I'm a light sleeper so I didn't get any sleep either nights. The only positive about our stay was the beds are comfortable and they have lots of restaurants in the area to walk to. While checking out, I addressed the issues again with the front desk and I got a response "oh sorry" clearly wasn't sincere. They didn't ask if I enjoyed my stay. Just took my card and that was that. I think hospitality fell short, I was VERY disappointed in this marriott stay. It wasn't cheap for 2 nights, felt like a rip off. I didn't even get the room I booked. Thinking about contacting someone higher up as the actual hotel hasn't tried to fix the issues. Would love for someone to reach out and contact me.

I stayed at the Rockwood Courtyard for three nights. The first night around midnight the toilet started making very loud, strange noises. It wouldn't flush and if I tried to lift the lid to flush it the water was very hot. I couldn't sleep or use the toilet. At 6:00 am I called and was told that someone would be there in 30 minutes. When no one showed up I called again and was told someone would be there by 7:00 am. When no one showed up I went to the front desk and talked to the night manager, Christopher S. He said no one would be in until 12 noon. I told him that I was very unhappy and he told me to check out of the hotel. So much for problem solving. I told him I was going to write a negative review and he said, "go ahead". I continued to use the main floor restroom. When I talked to the day manager she said she would comp me $25 for the inconvenience and no sleep. I told her not to bother. The next morning when I was going to breakfast at 8:00 am someone had thrown up next to the elevator door. A towel had been thrown over it and a yellow caution sign. When I told Christopher S. the night manager he said someone would clean it up at noon because that's when maintenance would be in. I told him to get it cleaned up now or I'm calling the health department which I did. It was eventually cleaned up but the entire second floor smelled of vomit for the next 2 days of my stay.

We were staying here this past weekend for our niece's wedding. Very nice rooms, very clean and friendly staff. Unfortunately the rooms do not have microwaves, only the one in the lobby market. Due to covid, they did not do housekeeping in our rooms during our stay, which was fine. Unfortunately, the pool was closed also due to covid. Wish they had a regular restaurant in the lobby instead of the fancy Starbucks place... that never seemed to be open and only had high end food. The mobile check in was awesome and quick, we just had to stop at front desk to get our room keys. Checkout was via email and we just dropped the keys at front desk. Staff was very helpful when we ordered from door dash and the pizza place didn't include plates or napkins. They were able to get us some from the Starbucks place. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

It was difficult to locate driveway in but the locaztion is right off the interstate. I requested an ADA room and said I needed a bed no higher than 21-24 inches when the reservation was made. 99% of wheelchair seats are 18 inches from the floor, with a cushion they are 20-22 inches from the floor. The bed in this hotel is 28 inches. It is extremely difficult to lift your butt 6 to 8 inches and then move it sideways on to the bed. Travel websites and blogs for the disabled are filled with comments from persons in wheelchairs who are reluctant to travel because the ADA rooms are not accessible. Further, bed height is a statement by the hotel that they don't care that the room is inaccessible. A low-profile box spring that would lower the mattress to 22 inches is the simplest solution. Bed height also affects your ability to use a roll-in shower; since you remove the cushion from the wheelchair before getting into the chair from the shower. This makes the lift to the bed 10 inches which is well beyond anyone's capability. Additionally, the closing mechanism on the room door needs to be adjusted for use by a person in a wheelchair. If your maintenance staff does not know how there are several online do-it-yourself videos.
