In a destination that’s famous for being popular, the Shoreline is comfortable in its own skin. The hotel — 135 rooms over 14 floors — has a scale absent from most Waikiki Resorts, and the 1970s design creates a contemporary feel. Accommodations are bright and well‑appointed.

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the place was very conveniently located, and I always felt safe in the neighborhood. Particular credit to Cheyne at the front desk, he was super great. The only challenges you might find is limited parking (but it's Waikiki, so you should expect that) and I think the doors are a little thin, so when you're paying attention, you might hear people in the hallway.

Purchased a room a week beforehand and in that time they failed to tell me there was a problem with the purchase of my room until I arrived. It was a complete waste of my time. They need to learn how to inform people of what is going on in regards to their room if there is an issue before the arrival of the guest. Very unprofessional.

This hotel scored high in all my most important criteria. It is clean, in a safe area, friendly staff, and the location was ideal for walking or transit system use. It was very easy to walk to a great section of Waikiki Beach in one direction snd all of the high end shopping and dining in the other direction. I also noted that parking was available directly behind the hotel with easy entry into the lobby. The rooms were nicely painted (in a modern vibe) and the roof top pool was very nice. The only diappointment for me was the fact that the balconies/windows faced a REALLY deteriorated vacant hotel next door so I really couldnt enjoy having the curtains open, much less sit on the balcony.

This place is worth the 100 dollars a night. Don’t expect a resort or anything luxurious. The rooms are clean, staff was friendly and location is close to Waikiki beach. Parking on site was $45 a day but you get in and out privileges. All in all a good experience if you want a place to sleep and head to the beach in the morning.
