The overall location, value for money is excellent for this hotel. Will keep coming back. The only complain is the food quality in the club lunge is not as great as some other Hyatt we stayed. Again, over all this hotel is well worth staying
We had booked this through Costco Travel. After years of pandemic isolation, we needed this getaway. The bell desk checked our luggage even though we were four hours early. We explored the immediate surrounding area during that time. The location is unbelievable. The first impression from the lobby balcony does NOT do it justice. The check-in line had several impatient guests in front of us, but we are on vacation so just chilled while others complained vehemently. We are right across the street from the beach and the ocean. After receiving our keys, we headed up to the 32nd floor of the Diamond Head Tower for the ocean view. The floor to ceiling balcony door opened up to the Pacific Ocean, along with the sights and sounds of Waikiki. Each day we went down to the pool area to check out chairs and towels for the short trek across the street. The convenience cannot be overstated. While others schlep their coolers, chairs, towels and toys across blocks of busy Waikiki traffic to get to "our beach," we just wait for the elevator and crosswalk sign before floating in the water. Note to everyone. The blue umbrellas and chairs on the beach are NOT a part of this hotel. They are available from the tents on the beach for $30/2 hours; $50/4 hours; $60/all day. You can find other vendors away from the beach for cheaper options. We discovered there is a small, but thriving, farmer's market Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fresh cut fruits, vegetables, crafts, jewelry, snacks are all available. Having three ABC stores within this property is very convenient. We didn't realize the third store in the back of the Ewa Tower until the end of our trip.…
Valet parking for 60 dollars a day despite a default 10 minute wait for the car. The valet crew were unfriendly. Overall service mediocre, gym was disappointing. Huge hotel failing to make the guests feel appreciated.
double check what is promised and booked GET CONFIRMATION We were promised multiple items that never took place and had to battle with front desk at check in the last thing you want to start your vacation
Extremely well kept rooms and housekeeping service. Perfect location. Parking $50 per day is no bueno. Great view of diamond head and beach. Food was limited but good. Small pool. Excellent farmers market 2xs per week
My family and I (party of seven) had one fantastic week. The amenities were awesome, farmers market, activities for the kids, yoga, beach yoga, gym ( w/ a couple peloton bikes (my fav!))and etc.., but let’s not forget location location, location the fantastic location in the heart of everything, the Beach and Shopping being just steps away! Fantastic location!!
Great location, right across the Waikiki beach and easy access to all stores & restaurants. Hotel welcome desk was very pleasant and gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Room infrastructure is a bit outdated but kept very tidy. Cleaning staff did a great job everyday. Great ocean view from the balcony and no noise from the main street below. Foldable beach chairs and towels available for pickup at the pool deck. If you are not looking for a stylish boutique hotel but just want to have a friendly, well kept, clean, beach access hotel, I highly recommend this one!
Being a Globalist member, no upgrade was provided despite the hotel was showing availability of standard Ocean Front rooms. The room assigned was quite dated. Was moved to a ocean front room on the 4th night of our stay and it had broken Bidet, non working night lamp and wall clock. The room was shaking everytime the service elevator was operated. No water bottles were provided except for the first night. The rooms were quite dated and the doors had plywood peeled and painted over providing a seedy interstate freeway motel appearance.
We came here on a holiday to celebrate a family birthday and the hyatt was a lovely and modern hotel. Housekeeping was very thorough and it was quite clean. There is a lot that they offer there including great cafe's. The buffet breakfast was also delicious!
The most beautiful place in the world! and I don't want to leave there. ㅠㅠ Thank you for every crews kind and consideration. Never fotget that experience, peoples and a view. Once again, BIG MAHALO~~ :)
