A little father from the beach , but still have the best ocean view of all, complete view with sunrise and sunset view from the balcony. We got the 29th floor with 2 balconies . The 2 rooms share the big balcony. and the living has another balcony. The kitchen's windows has ocean views as well .
Our second time staying at the Grand Islander at Hilton Hawaiian Village and it won’t be our last. The room are large, comfortable and beautifully decorated with full kitchens. Makes it nice to be able to have breakfast and lunch easily available. Just a quick walk to Waikiki beach and easy access to the resorts many pools, shops and restaurants.
Please let me tell you I am the GM of a major resort in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and this place is 100% on point from the check in until you check out. We were in 1905 and had an amazing view of the sunrise an sunset. Please know everything about the Grand Islander is perfect an it might be a bit higher but you will see the difference along the way. Bathrooms with rain showers huge tubs and 3 lights on the bathroom mirror for you ladies which my wife said was the best mirror ever. I took 2 pairs of casual shorts and 4 shirts as the units have washer and dryers and may I also add the best hair products and body wash as well. Towels are oversized as well as the pillows. Hate to go on and on but this was the finest unit we have ever stayed in. Check in and Bellman best in the biz !!!. Last but not least this tower has a private pool an hot tub and trust me you will love this feature. Kevin and Leslie Glenwood Springs Colorado…

Took a taxi from the airport it was a stretch limo same price as a regular taxi! Tang Lee. Traffic was ridiculous. Ended up getting a Holo Holo card and riding the bus most of the time. Easy to get around that way. We went to queen Illiane‘s palace, The Bishop Museum, The farmers market passed the Alawana shopping center on Saturday fabulous. best garlic shrimp ever. Salt market just down from there was great. How to get reservations for Diamondhead hike , reservations ahead for Dukes at least two weeks to a month! Reservations for Hanauma Bay now! Beautiful views of the ocean and Waikiki beach. Watched the sunrise over Diamond Head and watched the sunset over the ocean. Great amenities within the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Located right on the ocean for quick access to relax at the beach and go paddle boarding. Also, to note, Laura at the concierge lounge showed sincere interest in ensuring guests were having a great visit to Oahu.
I chose to stay here because it’s the latest that they built. The place is nice and close to food, restaurants, stores, lots of stuff, especially the beach. Guest services are very attentive and prompt to your requests. Though we had encountered some maintenance issues, the guys took care of it right away. The Wi-Fi too, it was erratic at one time, and they fixed it right after we call. I think it’s small for a 2 bedroom but they are clean and beds are comfortable. They advertised it can have up to 6 people but they only have 4 chairs for the counter when we eat, so some have to stand or sit in the sofa. I don’t know how they really classify partial ocean view from ocean view, coz I paid for ocean view, but I think I only got 60-75% of it. The main room has a bidet, and privacy door for bathroom and stand shower, but the 2nd bathroom, it’s still ok, just regular toilet bowl and the square sink does not drain fast enough so you see “gewy” stuff. Just run the water more. Overall, it’s a nice stay. …
This is a wonderful place to stay. Quite busy for August, but there's plenty of things to do. The location is spectacular. Plenty to explore around the village. A few places within walking distance. We used Lyft to get around. A car isn't really needed if using that service. Glad we brought floaties for the ocean then gave them away at the end of our trip. Overall, great place to stay.
The property is beautiful, very well equipped and has a nice location, however, to many people in the same place which leads to receive a mediocre service. Additionally the staff is not interested for you to have the best vacation, the just get to the basic. I wouldn't travel to this property again
Wife and I recently had a two week visit there and had a really nice visit. Wife and I visited Tropics Restaurant and staff there were all very friendly and kind. Really made us feel great and the food there was really great food.
