After reading the reviews, you’d think this hotel was particularly grotesque and seedy. It definitely is a 2-star hotel, which it doesn’t claim to be a high end property.
It is small, including the rooms, which felt like a dorm room and built more for efficiency than luxury; hence, the name microtel. The rooms had the basics, including a desk, mini fridge, microwave, telephone, end tables, lamps, a full size mirror, and a queen bed. It even had a cot-like bed over the a/c looking like a window seat. Personally I like higher end hotels, but for this trip, we were just looking for an inexpensive property. It fit that bill and was much cleaner than other cheap properties. The walls did have scuffs, but the bedding seemed cleaned, the bathroom seemed clean and everything you would touch seemed clean, except for the floor, which didn’t seem like it had been cleaned between guests. That did seem gross, and I kept my shoes on, but even high end hotels have dirty floors, which are less visible due to being carpeted. The floors here are laminate. Whether it be a 4 star hotel or a 2 star one, I avoid having my bare feet touch the ground.
The sheets seemed clean, although a small cigarette hole was a bit off putting, though it didn’t seem fresh as it looked like it has gone through the laundry a few times, since it was created.
I didn’t see riff raff in the parking lot though the two other guests that I saw tonight seemed lower class, a bit rough but not seedy.
The Best Western across the street did appear somewhat seedy, but this property seemed like the best one on the street.
I would recommend if cost is a concern in your travels or if you are looking for a simple, efficient place to stay. A single female might not want to stay here, unless you request room 120, the one that we stayed in, which is next to the front desk. The locks on the door had the inside double lock and the lock at the top which prevents the door being opened if the handle lock is breeched.

Checkin was smooth, no coffee maker in the room, the smoke detector was not ready and was still in the plastic bag hanging on the wall. There was no breakfast as advertised. Have travelled and stayed at several motels since covid and all have still had breakfast.

We did even go to our room after paying. It is disgusting and just dangerous.. we were yelled at by people just walking thru the parking lot back to our car. I paid $100 for nothing, my son was so scared we never even made it to the room. the people working there just said well you will probably be ok!
We can put you on the second floor so you wont have to worry about people banging on your windows and watching you.

Needs to be updated or Wyndham needs to pull out of this property it sucked. This is not the first review of this hotel that was not good. The owner of this property is charging premium prices for terrible service. The 2 staff people were nice and helpful.

Floor was soaked from leaking AC, maintenance man was aware of issue prior to our arrival and told front desk to just “let us know it’s damp”. Front desk didn’t even tell us.
Because it was wet it smelled moldy. Rooms were poorly fixed with caulk in areas where things broke in the bathroom. Lights didn’t work in our other room.
Owners were rude and thought we were lying about our issues for a “free night”. I ended up staying the night in the room since it was 11pm and my husband wasn’t getting in until the morning and I had no idea what else I should do. Due to my staying the owners accused me of wanting a free night and spoke poorly of me to my husband’s face.
When my husband spoke to the owners about the rooms (which he recorded) another customer was in the lobby and said they were planning on suing due to the state of their room.
Bottom line, don’t stay here.

The property was not clean. Our room was dirty. There was a white substance on the floor and the bathroom had shoe prints on the floor. The shower was not cleaned and there were handprints on the mirrors as well. Overall I was not satisfied with this property and don't recommend a stay until they go through and make major changes on the cleaning. I was highly disappointed in this facility.

Property was definitely older and could use some minor repairs. Walls in room needed painting, there was a chipped outlet cover, and the tub didn’t drain great. Walls are also pretty thin like most hotels so you’ll hear any neighbors. I’m a woman traveling alone and didn’t have any issues here.

We checked in without a glitch. All week, the front desk personnel were friendly and met our needs. Room was clean and set up, At our request, the room wasn't cleaned until we checked out. Hot water, in the shower, was hot and available immediately. The continental breakfasts were stocked and ready for service. The waffles were YUMMY. No outside sounds were heard!

Very noisy Room wasn’t very clean Bathroom was old and dirty. Room was very small. The guy at the desk was super nice. Need to make sure people know there is no breakfast. Fine to sleep and go no extras here
