Unique layout. Not a traditional hotel, the rooms are spread out across the property in a multi-level condo type setting. Had a nice suite with a living room, fireplace and bedroom, with a small patio area out front. Clean and fairly modern room. Gym looked pretty good, not busy. Spa onsite. Small pool and hot tub. A few restaurants, stopped at the bar one night, good service. Great location within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping and tourist sites. Valet parking only, very quick on getting your car back. Would visit again.

My friends and I enjoyed our 3-night stay at Lo Posada for a girls trip. The location was excellent, just a few short blocks from old town, and walkable to the arts district (and Kakawa for sipping chocolate!) as well. When we were venturing farther afield, the valet service was speedy and our car was always ready by the time we called from our room and walked to the valet desk. The room itself was comfortable -- the beds were extra comfy with plenty of extra pillows. The furnishings are showing their wear, and it's nice to see that rooms will be renovated later this year. I've seen worse, but age is showing and a refresh is needed. Shutters at the window vs. a shade would be better -- since almost all the casitas are ground level, we kept all blinds drawn for our full stay, rather than give up any privacy. Shutters would have allowed in much-desired light. I enjoyed the stay and would book again without hesitation, just temper your expectations in the short-term that furnishings prior to renovation are not tip-top. …

I was a little concerned with the negative reviews but the hotel was very nice. All employees were attentive and friendly. The location is perfect and a short walk to both Canyon Road and the Square. Our room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. We are elite members so perhaps we had an above average room but we had no complaints. Ate breakfast each morning at the hotel and had lunch one afternoon here. Very good.

5/5 Never thought I’d write a review like this, but valet here needs a raise. We came to visit and we’re greeted at the spa by an extremely rude front desk staff. However, I cannot express how welcoming, accommodating and friendly the valet service was. This hotel found the nicest valet staff on the face of earth and they go above and beyond at their job. First impressions are everything, and these guys are the perfect people to make a great first impression for hotel guests.

The staff at this hotel is friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are very good. But the hotel is in serious need of a make over or a bill dozer. It is falling apart. While the staff tries to be helpful but they can only do so much. The worst is that their website shows beautiful rooms but that’s not what you get. I paid for a suite with a sofa bed and a gray bathroom with two sinks and a separate shower and tub. I didn’t get what was represented when I made my reservation. I feel like it is a bait and switch situation. Promised one thing but got another. The first room they gave us had a sofa bed but no room to open it up. They changed our room which was a little better. The bathroom had one sink and a badly stained tub shower and a toilet that kept on running. The furniture was dirty as well as the carpet. Needless to say owe we’re very disappointed. Also we chose the hotel for the pool too. The pool is dirty and no towels were ever available. If you expect a nice hotel that is clean and modern don’t go here. …

This is a resort that needs major room remodeling! The hounds are nice and the restaurant was great! BUT, the bath tub is surface is peeling, the towel rack falls apart if you breathe too heavily, the window coverings do NOT provide full privacy and all is just old!

Casual, but sophisticated. Beautiful old style hotel. Centrally located in Santa Fe. A great little bar/pub area to have cocktails and conversation. They have a great menu to enjoy as well. I would highly recommend this place for drinks and or accommodations.

We were so happy with our recent stay at this beautiful resort in Santa Fe! We arrived just as the rain was falling and were so pleased that our car was taken care of and that we could quickly check in and enjoy the loveliness of our quaint and charming room complete with a fireplace. The bed was very comfortable ,and the restaurant and bar were perfect for a cozy and welcoming evening of fine wine and food. The staff were all kind and attentive as well. La Posada de Santa Fe felt like our home away from home.We will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Santa Fe again.

A lovely place to stay. Rooms very clean, spacious and a cozy ambiance. Staff was welcoming and friendly from the valets to the servers and bartender, Tony F. Food was tasty. We will definitely book this location again when visiting Sante Fe. The hotel is centrally located between the Sante Fe Plaza and Canyon Road galleries. Walking distance to everything you would like to see and do.

We love this place! We have been going to Santa Fe for many years and always stay at La Posada! We love the unique character of this property. The staff is amazing. We love hanging out in the Stabb House bar. The location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping. We love seeing some of the staff year after year! They know us by name and make our stay special!
