We spent 3 nights and wish we had planned longer! The hotel itself is comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Rooms are large enough and very welcoming. Parking lot is a bit tight but plenty of space. The breakfast included with the room is good as far as buffet breakfasts go and certainly a great value. The wifi is...

Spent 5-days in this quaint in-town hotel with great staff and excellent service. Fabulous free breakfast and "Del Charro" onsite restaurant & lounge is worth visiting, so convenient. Our room had a Kiwa, fireplace, and made our stay cozy. Don't miss Tea & Sheri daily in the lobby every afternoon. A Special thanks to Sam, manager. His personal touch is...

A cute hotel with a very nice breakfast. The onsite restaurant is also good serving great bar food. Enjoyed it a lot. You can walk easily from there to everything in the city center and do not need to use the car.

Great host! They give you a lot of idea for where to go and places to see. This hotel is walking distance from the Plaza so if you have a little down time before you want to go back to the hotel, you can walk around the town. They also offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Travelling with a fellow friend from the UK on a trans America driving holiday we spent 3 nights at Inn of the Governors immediately after Easter. We have stayed at some dozen hotels thus far on our trip and this centrally located, independently owned and managed hotel is the best by a margin in terms of general ambiance and value...

Stayed here for two nights in early April; wanted a good central location to explore old Santa Fe on foot--I could not have chosen a better location! Literally two minutes walking to the Plaza and Palace of the Governors. It's an interesting hotel. I suspect it started as a modest motel in the heyday of Route 66. It still has...

Our family spent 3 nights @ the Inn of the Governors in early April. The Inn's proximity to the Plaza (about 2 blocks) was perfect. There are several room types -- we "splurged" & selected the deluxe room. It was nice to have access to the outdoor terrace during the warmth of the day & use of our fireplace during...

The Inn is in a great location which allows you to walk to most places. It is just about one hour from Albuquerque Airport. A little more than one hour to Ghost Ranch. The Inn is centrally located to other national parks, Ghost Ranch and Jemez. Besides location, the Inn offers a free breakfast starting at 6:30 am. Hot food,...

Dear HarryL, Thank you for endorsing the Inn and Del Charro! It's wonderful to read that Del Charro was good enough to keep you from visiting other great Santa Fe establishments for lunch. The staff at the Inn of the Governors was fantastic. They greeted you each time you entered the lobby and were the most helpful I have seen for a long time. I particularly liked the afternoon tea from 4-5 which was held around the fireplace in the entry lobby. I selected this hotel for price and location and would return...
