Detailed Reviews
Almost gave four stars because my low expectations were exceeded vs high expectations at airport Radisson just last week were not met. Had a hole in duvet on both places but I’m sad to say it was more expected here, same with noisy slamming doors adjacent to my room. But stay was far superior to Motel 6 across the intersection and I wasn’t denied a breakfast as at Radisson because of having booked through a third party. In addition, I could close out the outside light with heavy blinds here which I couldn’t at Radisson. Some of the tv channels were funky; grainy, staticky. Overall, the motel got the job done, that’s all.

+1
Booked this hotel through booking.com and when I got there, they said they don’t have a reservation with my name. Booking.com rep called them and the front desk put her on hold until the rep disconnected. I think it was all a ruse so you book with them directly! So I cancelled my booking.com and got a room directly from them.
THE ROOM:
1st thing I saw when a walked in was a cockroach on the wall. Room was filthy. The carpet was dirty, still had the old key card holder on the floor probably from previous guest, stains on the lamp shade, nasty red stain under the bed, room smells funky! I went to the front desk to tell them the situation, they offered to give me another room, I said no.If that room wasn’t cleaned properly, for sure the others are filthy as well. They said they will not refund me coz we can only cancel if it is within 15 minutes from check in. Parking our car and unloading our luggage alone is already 15 mins. I called Choice Hotels to report and they said they will help me with the issue. Some of their guests looks sketchy also. Just stay away, the photos speaks for itself.

The place is smelly and room was fine otherwise. The tv was broken. They’re so cheap here that the tv is just for display. The breakfast was extremely basic. I called and asked if they could store the bags in a locked room me until 3pm and front desk said yes when it comes time to check out they told us to leave it in the dining room that was open to the public. I never been to a place that can’t store bags for you. I feel like it was such a bad experience I would have rather airbnb then pay this price for a place like this. It’s not worth it unless it’s your last resort

Hotel's Favorite
Your basic Quality Inn. But service and room comfort were both as expected. Parking was fine, and it was easy to get to the airport first thing in the morning which was my first criterion. Would stay here again.

Have had "average" experiences with Quality Inn, but was very pleasantly surprised with the downtown Salt Lake City property. It was very clean, centrally located and the front desk staff was exceptional. We had a smoke alarm chirping when we checked into our room and were moved to another immediately. We could not stay for breakfast, but were happy to find FREE parking in a downtown location. Will definitely stay again!

A few parking spots in front, but more parking spots behind, but its gated, so you have to go to the desk initially. All the property is covered by security cameras, which the desk staff watches. This is likely due to the high numbers of homeless encampments near by.
The room was clean, a little run down, could use a little more maintenance. The mattress was saggy, it needed to be replaced. Standard window heater/ac unit, which is noisy.
And the walls are thin, one of my neighbors was talking loudly on the phone till midnight and kept me awake. Not the best place to get a good nights rest for a new day of driving across the US.
next time I'll pay a little more and get a better hotel.

Had a reservation here but had to cancel. Took forever to get my refund. Made another reservation and at check in they wanted a $100 deposit even tho they had my credit card number. Parking was scarce. Room smelt of incense. Fridge froze the food and water. Long black hair in shower, smudge on window. Beds were OK, shower hot and had good pressure. If it only had a pool and hot tub. No breakfast due to virus scare.

We have stayed at several Quality Inns on this vacation, but this was not a pleasant stay. The walls are paper thin, the TV was terrible, the clock didn't work, the smoke alarm was dangling from the ceiling and the breakfast was skimpy. We had to call someone for the TV twice. And it had a switch by the door to turn everything on/off, but no one told us until we complained. I would not recommend it.

Do not book this hotel, the stench is awful and is very dirty. Stained sheets, used condoms in the parking lot, very sketchy people in the parking lot watching you go in and out, if you are a girl staying here by yourself, DO NOT BOOK. Nobody should book this hotel as soon as I walked into my room and the smell of beef stew hit me in the face I immediately turned around and checked out, disgusting hotel. Please pay an extra couple bucks and book a better hotel I can not stress this enough.
