The location of this hotel is perfect. It sits at the bottom of the mountains and is a convenient distance from the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The 2 queen suite was spacious with a large refrigerator. The room and hallway could use some updating, but was still nice.

Comfortable, clean, simple and spacious room with a sitting area and a kitchenette. Very practical and efficient design with plenty of storage and countertop area to spread out your belongings. The kitchenette is designed for heating simple microwaveable meals and contains a fridge and a dishwasher. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The hotel is a bit sterile with no charm or soul but practical for skiers and families who go out to play all day and just crash there at night. The location is excellent in the foothills not far from the ski areas and it is an economical lodging alternative for budget minded skiers who don't want tp pay astronomical rates to stay right in Park City.

Disliked · I give the staff a fair rating because although they were friendly and professional, you cannot reach the front desk from your phone in the room. I tried 10 times intermittently to reach them and no one ever answers the phone, and you get end up getting looped into a recording. We arrived on a late night flight and they were overbooked and our room was sold to someone else. We were tired and this was an inconvenience. They booked us in another hotel for the night and paid for it but it was a disruption of our schedule as we had to come back the next day to check in. The cooking utensils are basic microwavable type. They will give you a hot plate cooktop upon request, but you really can't use it without proper pots and pans. It would be nice to have a frying pan and a sauce pan if you get the cooktop. Otherwise it is a moot point even having one. We requested a cooktop upon check in that was never delivered to our room. Since we only ended up staying 2 nights and couldn't reach the front desk because no one ever answers the phone, we gave up. The breakfast is mediocre but with covid the hotel is doing the best they can with grab and go bags.

Thank you for the review and feedback. We are glad that you stay was pleasant minus the inability to reach staff later at night. I will be discussing the issue with the front desk supervisor to determine why you call went unanswered and to find a solution to the issue.

We arrived at 3:30am after a 28hr 4 leg nonrev set of flights to go from MCO to SLC. Needless to say my family with 2 children were exhausted. We knew we were very early for our check in however the graveyard shift manager said she’d get us a room available ASAP when housekeeping arrived. In the meantime, she offered us bottled water, the ability to relax/rest/sleep in the lobby which was very comfortable, & have breakfast when it began at 6:30am. She was so nice & was housekeeping! The location is close to the Canyons & Park City so you can easily stay here to save money & drive back & forth each day. We loved it!

For paying $200/night for this room, I expected fresh breakfast NOT something of an egg scramble in a plastic bag that required to be microwaved. Gross. Room wasn’t overly clean and the AC unit wasn’t working properly. It was just ok...probably won’t be staying here again.

Staffing issues appear to create a messy breakfast service area. Replenishment of food very slow. Hotel would be better off not offering the service if they cannot support the effort to keep it maintained.

This place served as a very good “home away from home” during a one week holiday in SLC. The units are well equipped, comfortable, with many amenities (e.g., a full size frig) and a very good location close to stores, freeways, and good restaurants. Only one thing really bothered me…the breakfast service. I felt they did not follow proper safety precautions and were not as concerned about cleanliness as they should have been. On a number of mornings, the clean silver was loaded handle down, so everyone had to touch the eating surfaces when selecting. In addition, many of the silverware items were not thoroughly clean. The serving utensils for the hot items (omelets, breakfast sandwiches) were difficult and awkward to use. The coffee urns were not well monitored, as the “regular” coffee was empty on two different mornings, and wasn’t replaced. The juice dispenser was broken the entire week of our visit. Dirty tables weren’t cleaned after use…in fact, other guests volunteered to clean tables for incoming diners!! As a former dietician in a hospital kitchen, I found their food service standards quite lax! Other Hilton properties have done MUCH better at this!!

We really enjoyed our three night stay here while visiting Salt Lake City. The hotel includes free breakfast for all stays, and it is quite good. The indoor pool and hot tub were a great place to relax. The parking lot was well lit and felt secure. The hotel laundromat is a bargain at only 50 cents to wash and 50 cents to dry. Kitchenette has full sized refrigerator, mucrowave and dishwasher, but no stove top. The Kitchenette is stocked with dishes, Silverware and glasses as well as dishwasher soap. I would like to acknowledge Daniella, from the breakfast buffet for excellent customer service.

Thank you for your kind review. We believe you might be writing about a different Home2 hotel than ours however (there's quite a few in the SLC area), but we are happy to have your reivew on our page. Our laundry machines cost a little more than 50cents a load, and we do not have Daniella on our team. Thank you!

Some cleanliness issues with bath and towels, shower head working poorly, coverlets don't stay on bed. It's a very nice hotel with well-appointed room and lounge. Convenient to have Walmart right next door.

The room was not cleaned or sanitized. Cleaning crew failed to see vomit down the side of the mattress and mattress cover and skirt. The front desk did send someone up to change all bed lines but they failed to sanitize the room.

I have been Hilton Gold or higher for many years but this was only my second stay at a Home2Suites that I recall. The location was good, just off the highway. There is a Super Walmart around back that I walked to in order to pick up some travelling supplies.
The room was okay, but we felt in could have been just a little bit cleaner. The sheets appeared rumpled and not smooth or crisp, like someone had sat on the bed. The shower had some substance on the wall that was easily washed away.
We had a loud neighbor and I tried to keep the heating/cooling fan on full-time to drown out the noise but was unable, so I did not sleep well until he/she eventually quieted down.
The gentleman at the front desk in the morning was nice and gave us four options for a to-go breakfast bag.

No. But an Uber ride to public transportation or to most destinations in Salt Lake City wouldn’t be more than a few dollars though.
