While we usually vacation in the Caribbean (staying in 5-star hotels), we wanted to check out Hawaii this year, so this was a first visit to Maui and the Four Seasons. We were thrilled to be in such a nice location on a beautiful property and with amazing staff. Everything about our stay was perfect. We had no problem getting chairs at any of the pools (though did rent an oceanside sanctuary one day - well worth it!) It was busy but never felt overwhelming as it's a big property. So many of the staff members went out of their way with requests and we especially enjoyed the pool and lobby bar staff who were very accommodating. We'll be back!

This was our 4th visit to Four Seasons Maui over the last 12 years, and they just keep performing at a 5 star level. the facility & grounds are well maintained. The room spotlessly clean. The service at all levels of staff was exceptional from the welcoming "committee" to the in-room service staffers. That's a tough act to pull off 365 days a year, with a large staff of different levels of experience......but they accomplished it....again!!! Special note of appreciation to the pop-up Dos Hombres restaurant, as the flavors were excellent. We also take special pleasure enjoying the in-room dining for breakfast. You just can't start a day any better than a leisurely breakfast in the room overlooking the grounds or the ocean......with food that was consistently served as warm as if "in restaurant". The adult infinity pool area is always a grand way to spend a "pool day" on Maui as well, with spectacular ocean views, and full service bar / restaurant at your beckon call. It just doesn't get better than this for a Maui resort. …

We recently returned from an anniversary trip, we honeymooned here and then returned for our 15 yr anniversary only to decide we had waited to long in between visits! We now hope to come back every 5 years, the staff are incredible and the service is impeccable. Con not recommend enough - we decided for this trip to just spend our time at the hotel and not plan excursions, so we took advantage of some of their complimentary offerings like beach yoga and the outrigger boat where we saw seals and turtles :) Thank you so much to everyone who made our stay so memorable, can't wait to return!

The facility needs remodeling. I was told there were no seats at the pool even through there were 10 chairs "reserved". I sat at the pool on the pavement for an hour and none of the pool seats that were reserved were occupied for an hour. Unacceptable for how much I paid for my stay.

It's a nice resort and you are paying up for it. It's the most iconic resort in Wailea and so much to like. The beach access and the cove you are in is great - good snorkeling along the rocks. The lounge chairs and umbrellas are comfortable and the pool scene is great for kids/families. There's no real way to swim laps though (for adults). The fitness center is a bit of an odd set up. The cardio equipment is outdoors which is great. The strength training equipment is indoors but very old - like no one is using those models anymore. There's a nice playroom with pool tables and ping pong that was regularly used. Plenty of restaurants on property and neat tennis/pickleball courts on the rooftop of the garage. The rooms are big, comfy, modern; the wifi is strong and widely available; and the in-room amenities are what you would expect for Four Seasons. The elevator configuration wasn't as well thought out - they are really far from some rooms - like takes a long walk to get to. The valet parking is a complete cluster when the resort is at capacity - could take you 25 min to get your car and don't get me started on getting your luggage to your room when you check in - could take 40 min for that to show up. So while the focus on service is admirable, sometimes, you're better off letting your guests do things for themselves.…

We have stayed at the Four Seasons on Maui six or seven times, and the consistency of the quality of the experience has been truly wonderful. The facility is beautifully designed and maintained and the staff shines with their professionalism and attentiveness to guests. That combination -- plus details throughout that add delight, from so many gorgeous fresh flowers to a music channel in the guestroom bathrooms that offers a mix of Hawaiian music -- creates a memorable experience of relaxation, ease, beauty, and fun. It's a joyful place, and we can't wait to return.

Catering to every type of traveler – honeymooners, families, romantic couples, friends – there is an area of Four Seasons Maui designated for everyone. For us, having traveled as a family with a young toddler, we found it exceptionally family-friendly without it being too family-oriented. This is especially important for us, as we love to enjoy quality adult time on our vacations just as well. Staff across the resort were always very friendly and welcoming with our little one. Whether it was brining a bucket of pool toys by to help occupy her or a cold treat to offer some respite from the sun, the staff always went above and beyond to accommodate our needs as parents of a busy toddler. This small extra mile certainly makes for a much more enjoyable vacation for a parent. While we spent most of our days hanging out in families designated areas, you will find three different pool areas across the sprawling resort. Each with their own distinct atmosphere and vibe. My Wife and I stayed at Four Seasons Maui for our honeymoon. It was an absolutely beautiful hotel. The beach was gorgeous, and all of the amenities on the property were top tier. The staff at Four Seasons was spectacular too, making sure we had all we needed to enjoy our trip and created a truly personalized experience. We'll be back!
